Had two man crew come out and install new Trane units. Replaced the ductwork by the furnace. Took just the one day - showed up at 8 and got finished a little before 5. Cleaned all old units and debris out, showed me how to program the thermostat and am now cool and comfortable.

Got up on a Saturday morning air conditioner not running cold and with a forecast of 100 degrees I was in a minor panic. Called air pro and they were able to come over before noon and replace the capacitor and had it running again quickly. They did the original HVAC install 4 years ago so the part was still in warranty. Repair man was very courteous.

I had a new AC and Furnace installed. After getting several bids for high efficiency units that were twice the price, I discovered Air Pro. Brad was excellent, he explained his product, provided me with literature and gave me tips on housing codes for high efficiency units. He was the first of 6 to mention it. He was quick to respond when I called the next day to get a quote on a standard 80% unit. He got me on the schedule quickly. When they came to install the system, Brad showed up to help as one of the other installers was ill. They were quick and effective and he did a great job explaining the new unit. They were even great when they had to return a month later to replace a faulty part. I had no problems and would highly recommend them.

I've used Airpro since I put in my new system in 2007. I have had several issues over the years which have all been quickly and professionally resolved. They are honest to a fault and a pleasure to work with. I won't let anyone else touch my system. They are the best!

I requested Air-Pro Comfort Systems to bid on a complete replacement of my original two furnaces, two air conditioners and two humidifiers in my home. Brad Decker, the company owner, came April 23, 2014 and we spent about two hours going over the systems. He gave me a set of Trane brochures and said he would email me his bids, probably by Friday, April 25. He emailed April 30 that he apologized that he hadn't gotten my proposals done---he was very busy with some large projects with deadlines and that he couldn't start on my proposals until sometime the next week at the earliest. A month later on May 30 I wrote Brad an inquiry and he wrote back the same day that he was still very busy etc. etc. but he hoped to get something to me prior to my final decision. He never got back to me, even to the current date of July 2, although it is too late now anyway.

I take this very personally since great customer service is my number one priority and what I feel like has been the main thing that has built my business. However, I must respectfully disagree with some of your perspective of what actually took place and most importantly with the overall rating you have given me and Air-Pro. Upon our very first phone call, I explained how busy we were and asked you then if you were needing to get your project done right away. You assured me that your systems were currently working and that you were not in any hurry. That was the only reason I agreed to even set up an appointment to come out and give you a free estimate. When I came out to give you the free estimate, I performed all of the industry standard items that normally take place on a free estimate. (Took measurements, asked about concerns or needs, assessed the existing system, etc.) But then I had to go above and beyond of what would normally be expected for a free estimate... I went into your crawl space 2 different times to try to come up with a solution / design idea for what you were trying to accomplish. I reviewed your house plans and load calculations that you had done by another company and pointed out to you the flaws with those calculations and explained it all to you. I took measurements in numerous places of the home to try to figure out where hidden ducts may be. I crawled around in your attic to check the insulation and ductwork out. Upon doing this, I noticed a problem with the venting of the attic and walked out in the woods with you to try to see if we could see any other roof vents that we may have missed. And several other items...all at your request. And all of this was for FREE! But that is the kind of customer service that we pride ourselves on at Air-Pro. After well over 2 hours of this I kindly let you know that I had to leave to get to other jobs. I left you the brochures on the equipment choices that we had discussed and told you I would email you proposals as soon as I could, but again reiterated how busy we were. One week later, I sent you an email apologizing that I had not gotten your proposals done. (Mind you, I was not "responding" to an email from you, I sent you an email just to let you know the situation and that I had not forgotten you.) I explained that I had prior commitments to existing customers that I must take care of prior to taking on any new business. (Again, that is what we do at Air-Pro, we give the highest quality customer service to our customers that we can. So, we needed to focus on our existing customers. While I truly wanted to gain you as a valued customer, at that point you were not a customer of Air-Pro.) I sent that email on a Wednesday and told you that I would not be able to even start on your proposals until sometime during the following week at the very soonest. You replied by saying thank you for the explanation and you look forward to getting the proposal as soon as I can get to it, probably next week. When I read that, I took that as you were now in a hurry, since I had said the next week would be the absolute soonest that I could even think about starting on it and you replied with "probably next week". I kept all of your job notes on my desk, but as the summer heated up, our existing customers needed service and I did not get to your proposal for all of the reasons I stated earlier. You then reached out to me and seemed pleased that you had had an energy audit done and the auditor pointed out the same problem with the attic venting that I had pointed out to you when I was climbing around in your attic for free. You also mentioned that you wanted to change some things since we had last spoken and to bid the project based upon these recent changes. I responded immediately and explained again our situation. We had to many projects going on to take on any new work. I do not take on new work unless I can give it the attention that it deserves as well as take care of current customers. I also told you that while I wanted to earn you as a new customer, that it was going to be a while before I would be able to commit to your project. You did not respond to me at all. I have been in this business for a long time, and usually when a customer tells you that they are getting lots of bids and then all of a sudden they do not respond when you reach out to them, it means that they have gone with another company, decided to hold off for now, etc.. I am not the kind of person that "hounds" people. Once they ignore me reaching out to them, I do not continue to harass them. As you can see by my lengthy response, I take my customers satisfaction very seriously. Obviously you are not a customer or Air-Pro since we did not have any sort of a contract or agreement whatsoever. In fact, the only relationship we have is that I drove to your home and provided you with a lot of information and performed quite a bit of work at no charge at all. However, by you putting out such a negative response to my company, that never performed any work for you, does affect the way that other potential customers might perceive us. And that does not seem very logical or fair since we never even provided a service to you. How can we provide bad service, when we didn't even provide any service at all? I know you wanted to get a free estimate from us, but I kept in touch and was very open and honest as to why I could not accept it at that time. Again, I sincerely apologize that you are disappointed in our company and I wish you had caught us at a time that we were not so busy. But I wish you could appreciate our honesty in how we handled the situation. In that we did not try to take on your job when we couldn't give it the excellence that we strive for on all of our jobs. Have you ever had your furnace quit working on a Sunday morning with temperature around zero? The better question may be: "Does a furnace ever go out during normal business hours?". I called Air Pro very early on Sunday with temperature about zero. Their technician, Paul Smith, returned my call within a couple of hours. I was able to give him some specifics about the symptoms and he solved the problem on the phone. I called him back, after taking his advice, and cancelled his appointment for a couple of hours later. Air Pro installed my system over ten years ago. The system has worked well, their technician is extremely competent and service is prompt. You can bet that they will be the company I call for maintenance or installation. Thanks Paul and company!

They were very apologetic about the cost of the repair part - not their fault as the system would only allow a complete replacement not just the part we needed. They gave us a really good deal on a new humidifier system with installation.
Description of Work: He was called in for a furnace check and found that my humidifier was "toast"! Tried to repair it but the final part was almost as much as installing a new system. They installed the new humidifier.

We will never use a different provider after our experience with Air Pro. They are not a large company which might be the reason why their prices were much lower than the big companies. A coupel of the aspects I was most impressed with was that when they came out to quote a new system, they educated me on the options and left the decison to me. There was no hard sell or them trying to push a high end system on us. We ended up buying a high efficiency Trane system and they installed it in 3 hours. They also redid the inflow ductwork to allow the system to be more efficient and charged me only $100 to do what another provided quoted $350 to do the same. Could not say enough good things about them. Our total cost for a 4 ton system was $3,200 which other bids for the same work ranged between $4,000- $5,500. They actually had one option for less but with the savings we chose to upgrade the efficinecy a little more.

It was a positive experience from the first contact with the business owner. Brad was knowledgable,easy to talk with, and answered all our questions in a straight forward manner. We established a contract with Air-Pro to install a new Trane heat pump and air handler. We had negotiation and technical discussion with Air-Pro on the size, the model, and the type of thermostat. They were very responsive to our questions and everything was done very professionally. Trane also had a special at that time, and they kept us well informed on the pricing and the discounts. Their proposal was very detailed with the model and part numbers of everything that they would install. The duct work details were left for later. The only last minute question that arose was the staging of the electrical supplemental heat, and they handled that quickly. They have a very professional team to do the install. This was done in five hours or so. The old system was removed (the old heat pump and air handler), the equipment closet was cleaned up, all the old duct work in the closet that was accessible was removed, and the new system installed. The system was tested and by the time they left it was working (for heating at that time of year). Everything was cleaned up, and the house inside and outside was left in good shape. I was pleasantly surprised since I had thought we would go through the dinner hour. The installation team was willing and able to answer all my questions during the install period, and my conclusion was they were very experienced and technically astute. The few questions I had after the install were rapidly answered. Everything seems to be working fine, and my electrical bills are much more reasonable.

Our heater went out over the weekend. Since we had planned on replacing it we toughed it out for the weekend and then called several companies telling them we needed to replace our furnace quickly. Air Pro was one that called me back right away and gave us a quote that Monday. Their quote was in line and Brad was very easy to work with so we went with them. I made the decision Tuesday morning and they worked it out so that they could start later that morning so that they could get us some heat that day. They finished the job on Wednesday. Paul did a very good job on the installation and was also a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Air Pro. They are very down to earth and customer focused.

Our air conditioning quit working on a 100 degreed day. Brad came out and found a problem in a line from the previous installation. Instead of selling us a new system he repaired it, recharged it and informed us that it would probably get us by for a few more years and that he hoped the compressor had not been damaged by the low level of freon. A month later it went down again and this time it was compressor failure. At this time we had Brad replace out entire system. We could not be happier with Air Pros honesty, service and installation. They were always prompt, clean and went beyond my expectations in every way.

Right afterwards I got unit working and called back to cancel emergency service but told the guy I wanted to get an annual service scheduled and get the weakened ignitor replaced under warranty. He said OK would call Monday to get us scheduled. Nothing happened so I finally called about a week later and scheduled the service. I should not have needed to do that.
Description of Work: The company services my under warranty Trane heating and air conditioning unit. Have been fine except for one item. I called in on a Saturday with a bad ignitor and no heat. Said would get someone over in 3-4 hrs.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The job was started and completed on time with the utmost professionalism.
Description of Work: I took 3 estimates for the replacement of my 24-year old heating and air conditioning system. Brad reviewed my installation needs and provided an estimate for the same system and equipment quoted by the other 2 contractors. Not only was Brad's quote the best of the 3, he went on to explain why the system I had chosen might not perform as I would expect and might possibly be prone to operational problems. His explanation demonstrated a thorough understanding of the equipment operation and the needs for my particular installation. He then presented me with a quote on a variation of what I had been considering that he felt would perform more reliably and this system cost less than what I had been considering by a couple of thousand dollars! I went with Brad's recommendation and scheduled the replacement. The crew arrived promptly at the time and date scheduled, They took great care in keeping things neat and clean and worked contiunously through the day to get the project done properly and on time. The system is operating flawlessly and for the first time since owning the house we have comfortable temps on all 3 levels at the same time. The honesty, integrety, and technical knowledge of Brad and his crew is second to none. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone considering the replacement of their HVAC system.

When they came out to give me a quote they worked around my busy schedule and squeezed me in during their lunch. He did a great job explaining the options and costs of each option. There was great communication with the installation date and again, worked around my needs and my schedule. The technicians arrived promptly and did a great job. When I needed an additinal piece done, it was done well. The entire process exceeded my expectations.
Description of Work: Air-Pro installed a new furnace/airconditioner.
