concrete repair, concrete driveways
+ 0 moreEverything went great! Matt designed a new landing and described it fully (and with drawings). He and his crew arranged to avoid my septic tank area as I wished. They did the job when I needed it done and completely cleaned up after themselves. The area is beautiful and as Matt described it. I could not be more pleased. I gave a B for price only because I am not aware of current prices and it is never going to be as cheap as one would like.
Description of Work: I have a landing off my fairly newly renovated deck that the stairs rest on. The deck, before it was renovated, had one of its piers established in this area. The crew that renovated my deck created a landing on top of that area and the subsequent landing was too high for the surrounding area and, as a result, the surrounding ground would wash away from it. Stepping off of it could be a little dangerous. I wanted this replaced and the landing made more attractive and safe. Due to the location of the septic tank in the back yard, I needed to make sure Matt and his crew stayed away from that area so as not to compress the ground.I also was pretty specific on a time I wanted it done due to coordination with a fence repair company.

concrete driveways
+ -1 moreOwner lied about completion date ( and yes, he knew it); unplugged my freezer and fridge in the garage for 27 hours and lied about that.He removed all the rusted, twisted, 28 year old rebar, stacked it in my yard and then dumped it into the new driveway. It is not attached to any rebar per his contract. Why didn't I stop him? I was in Istanbul but neighbors were in charge, thank God. They were the ones who found the freezer outage.Any Conversation with Matt Thompson is all lies, about everything. The man who recommended him, and was appalled, came out and finshed the driveway(sealant).
