+ -1 moreThe installation of the doors was excellent! However, the employee who painted the doors did not spray paint the doors, as he should have done. Furthermore, the paint did not cure before Accent installed the doors. It was apparent that the employee who painted the doors knew very little about painting garage doors. The paint was thick in some places, splattered on the glass, and was smeared on the back side of the doors (the interior). I complained to owner Jeff Griffith about the poor paint job and requested a refund of what I was charged for Accent to paint the doors. Initially, Jeff was a little bit rude and condescending, but he did ultimately honor my request for a refund of what I was charged for Accent to paint the garage doors. I would hire this company again for my garage door needs -- but I would never ask them to paint a garage door again. Jeff's initial response to my complaint about the poor paint quality is the only reason why I give them a "C" for professionalism.
Description of Work: We purchased two garage doors from Accent Door, which included the sunburst window design. Accent also offered to paint the new garage doors if we were to supply the paint. We provided the paint and Accent had one of their employees paint the doors. And then Accent installed the doors.

+ -1 moreTHE SERVICE GUY'S NAME WAS BOB. HE CALLED ME PRIOR TO HIS APPOINTMENT TO LET ME KNOW WHEN HE'D BE THERE IN CASE I NEEDED TO LEAVE WORK TO MEET HIM. HE QUICKLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND REPLACED THE WORN PARTS. HE ALSO CHECKED BOTH DOORS FOR MISSING BOLTS AND REPLACED THEM WHERE THEY WERE NEEDED. HE CHECKED MY OTHER DOOR TO SEE IF ITS PULLEYS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, TOO, AND TOLD ME THEY COULD MAKE IT A WHILE LONGER. I APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY AND THE FACT THAT HE WASN'T TRYING TO MAKE A FEW EXTRA BUCKS BY REPLACING SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T NEED TO BE REPLACED YET.
Description of Work: REPLACED FOUR WORN OUT PULLEYS THAT WERE CAUSING ONE GARAGE DOOR TO HAVE PROBLEMS CLOSING.

+ -1 moreDID A VERY GOOD JOB. ALSO VERY HELPFUL WHEN WE ACCIDENTALLY DAMAGED A PANEL SHORTLY AFTER THAT AND NEEDED A QUICK REPLACEMENT. OVERALL VERY GOOD. FAIR, REASONABLE PRICE & GOOD QUALITY WORK.
