+ -1 moreRuth was awesome! Very responsive to my email using Angieslist; explained the project and she gave me an initial quote over the phone, then she visited to take a look and actually lowered the quote. She is very nice, professional and did a great job. Totally pain and worry free!

Description of Work: We have used Ruth and Stir Crazy painting for several years on fence/deck staining as well as interior painting. Our most recent project involved basically re-painting the entire first floor of our house (including some wallpaper removal, patching, etc.). Ruth/Stir Crazy did a very nice job.

+ -1 moreI did this myself before minus the stripping before and it was a lot of work, time consuming and I didn't really know what I was doing. Ruth made sure she prepped the surface well by stripping the old stain off of the deck, then she conditioned it to open the wood pores before she stained the deck. It looks great! 10X better than when I did it myself. She knows what she's doing because she used to manage the stain and paint department at a home improvement store. She used to train customers on the process. She's a pro and a good communicator too.
Description of Work: Ruth expertly cleaned, stripped the old stain, conditioned, and stained my deck and flower box around the patio. She helped select a high quality Behr stain, too. It looks great!
