Description of Work: Dan the owner of Smooth Sailing can provide most all general contracting services: construction, plumbing, electrical and more. His work is great and he is very fairly and competitively priced. Dan most recently finished a basement apartment space for us which included a bedroom, sitting room, full bath and kitchenette/laundry room. We love the space it is extremely functional. Description of Work: Dan and his crew remodeled both of our bathrooms, including an expansion of the master. He is very nice to work with and was willing to incorporate our design ideas into the projects. The end result is beautiful. We highly recommend Smooth Sailing.

Description of Work: Have used for various projects. Last job was building a shed from scratch. 2012, then built a deck - 2011. From 2006 to 2010, has done various projects - installed windows, intalled ceramic tile in both my bathroom and kitchen. Tiled my kitchen walls. Installed dishwasher. Installed vanity and granite top in bathroom. Put in new lights, exhaust fan. Installed garage door opener. The lists goes on and on.

Description of Work: Dan has done several jobs for me from rehab on a rental property to plumbing. He is always on time and responsive to your needs. He is currently replacing faucets in my master bathroom, replacing a light switch and installing new track lighting. I would highly recommend Dan Jones of Smooth Sailing for all or your general construction and handy man needs.  + 6 moreWell the experience we had is probably best described by the actual name of the company "Smooth Sailing" that is exactly how it has all been working with Dan. In addition to the quality work Smooth Sailing provides I have to say I was equally impressed by the fact that Dan was ALWAYS on time and great about calling/confirming ~ letting you know they were on their way. Estimates and material costs were always provided in black and white and Smooth Sailing consistently performed work well within their project estimates. Dan is also great at figuring out solutions to tough project delimas, he's a savior when it comes to making things work, providing quality on-time services and being the most ethical contractor I've ever met in my life! Our experience with Smooth Sailing/Dan Jones has been A++++. I would say you should hire him in a heart beat but we'd like to keep him for ourselves!!
Description of Work: Smooth Sailing Enterprises (Dan Jones) has provided a number of services to my husband I over the last several months. Work included: installation of a garage door, drywall work, installation of attic stairs, track lighting, security lighting, porch and entry steps construction, window installation and more.

 + -1 moreThe guys were great to work with, and they worked around my schedule, which made everything easier. Dan went out of his way numerous times to ensure that we saved as much money as we could while maintaining a very high quality standard.
Description of Work: Complete bathroom and kitchen remodels, as well as additional plumbing in the basement, and wiring in my garage. All were challenges, as my house is over 75 years old and new obstacles presented themselves regularly.
