Description of Work: I had planned on calling a few tree trimming companies for quotes on removing some limbs.. My neighbor hired Salinas Tree Trimming to do a lot of work in his yard. When the trimmers were in his yard on a Saturday I approached one of the employees to ask about a quote and he said to call the company. I did not call because it was Saturday, but a short time later that day the owner of the company came to my door and I explained to him what I wanted done. There were a few large and long limbs high in a tree that were drooping very close to the power lines. He gave me a quote of $ 175.00 which I thought was very reasonable based on what my friends and family have paid for similiar work. He said the job would be done in the next day or two. On Monday when I returned home from limbs were cut and hauled away. They did exactly what I asked for. I am very pleased with their work and also for not having to take the time off from work to get quotes from more than one company.

Description of Work: In the area that I live in, the houses are very close. My neighbor called Salinas Tree and Lawn Service to cut / trim the branches of three old trees that belong to me . Apparently some little branches were over her yard. Instead of trimming the trees, Mr Salinas and his workers killed my old maple tree over 30 ft tall and probably about 80 yrs. old . I have now a single stick about 25 ft. high which is dead and dangerous I called Mr Salinas about two months after the job because no leaves or branches ever came back. Mr Salinas came back and verified that the tree was dead but refused to cut it at ground level and finish it with chemicals.. He then told me that the neighbor would have to pay for it since it was she who ordered this ( I repeat this was my tree, on my property). His crew entered my backyard on April 14 without my permission. I contacted the police and the crew left before their arrival.
