PROJECT SOLUTIONS LLC

What started out as a very pleasant 4 week kitchen remodel turned into a 10 week nightmare. It became obvious that my project was not a priority. I gave them unlimited access to my home and they took advantage of my generosity. Every time a section of the project was finished there were so many issues with quality that required rework or starting all over again. It's beyond me how people can call themselves professionals when their workmanship is sub-par. After weeks and weeks of things not getting done I finally fired them and have hired a "true professional" to finish what they couldn't get done. A lot of what they said they could do was way over their "pay-grade".

David Heese was hired to prepare the living room wall for painting, paint the living room ceiling, replace the bannister, hand rails and posts for 7 steps leading up to the dining room. From the very first day of work, he did no t show up when he said he would. He would pop in unannounced for a couple hours in late afternoon. I complained about the lack of consistency and he promised that he would start coming M-F from 9-5. This never happened. He continued to not come on a regular basis and this deteriorated to perhaps 2 days in a week where he would stay about 3 hours - primarily talking about his personal life. He never let me know ahead of time if or when he would come. Once he did not show up for 3 days in a row, stating that the police were watching him and he was afraid to get in his car. He talked too much when he did come, did very little work when he came and never stayed a full day's worth. He had a "crew" that he would drop off (one helper) to sand the walls and would pick him up mid afternoon when he did come, about 2 days total. Finally on Monday, July 19, 2013, he just didn't show up again and never did come back. He wouldn't answer his texts, never got hold of me at all. In short, he took my payment of $875 (half) and before bailing out completely, he did about $150-200 worth of work painting the fireplace. I haven't been able to get in touch with him nor has another customer that depended on him. He just disappeared with the money.
