Signed a contract, got a deposit, then refused to do the work, wouldn't void the contract, sign a waiver of lean, or respond to the mort. co inquiry tying up the insurance money for months costing me thousands of dollars in unwarranted expenses. Due to his unprofessionalism I have missed the spring / summer housing market and may be forced to lose the depreciated costs held by the ins. co. costing me tens of thousands of dollars more. Every thing was good until he hit on my girlfriend and got shot down, then he lost interest in the job. He took my deposit but seems he had no intention in doing the job, just needed money. I would NOT hire him to clean up after my dog let alone do work on my house. Hiring him is the worst decision I have ever made. He is a deck guy who had time and needed winter work, had good references but I would guess they apparently never hired him.
