How interesting! I had the same kind of unpleasant experience as Brian F. when I hired Lily's to handle my estate sale in November 2017. It was the most miserable business experience ever!

Lily’s Estate Sales LLC. agreed to perform an estate sale on March 12-15 of 2020, at their retail location located at 9034 Metcalf Ave. location. During the initial evaluation of the inventory, Andrew Rowland (spouse of Kirsten Rowland (Owner and President of Lilly’s Estate Sales LLC.)), gave verbal assurance that each room’s itemization would be provided, at the completion of the sale. Upon completion of the sale, the “Final Statement” provided “Sales Totals” of exactly $12,053 (no cents; no room itemization). Numerous written requests to Ms. Rowland to provide details of the sale were ignored, and I was force to file a claim in the Johnson County Court, against Ms. Rowland. If you hired Lily’s Estate Sales LLC., to sell items on March 12-15 of 2020, at Lily’s Estate Sales LLC. retail location located at 9034 Metcalf Ave., proceeds from the sale of those items are possibly still due to you, the seller. The specific items include: -A “Addressograph” cabinet (161 drawers, 62 ½” in height, 57 ½” wide, and 23” deep) -A Russian Submarine Clock (8 ½” in diameter) Lily’s Estate Sales LLC. is currently a defendant in a small claims action. (Johnson County District Court; Case # 20SC00217). Kirsten Rowland (AKA Kirsten M. Keith), Owner and President of Lilly’s Estate Sales LLC. is the sole defendant. The plaintiff claims Ms. Rowland has been uncooperative in releasing the financial specifics of a sale conducted on March 12-15, 2020. Additionally, the plaintiff contends Ms. Rowland’s refusal to produce said records, are a result of Ms. Rowland’s distraction and absence, at the time of the sale, as a result of a personal matter (Johnson County Court Case #20CV01409), and that financial records of the entire sale, do not in fact exist. We were absolutely astonished at the results and they exceeded our expectations on every level. We felt great that our mother's belongings were going to people who wanted and needed them for a fair price. Kirsten and Andrew and their team were professional, respectful and together we had a wildly successful estate sale that turned those possessions into cash for us and for their team. I cannot articulate fully how pleased we were with the results. Their cut was 38% and frankly was worth twice that.
