They did a good job. We haven't had a chance to check out the new air conditioner yet because it hasn't been that hot. They came when they said they were going to come and they finished all their work, they did not leave any messes, and what they quoted me is what exactly the bill was. They are easy to get a hold of and returned the calls so I appreciate their conscientiousness. I would use them again in the future.

I had other people come, but they just have the right people to be able to figure things out. It is a small company, but they do an amazing job. The plumbing issue was totally repaired and it was one of those things that I was worried it might be like a lot of money, but it was not. The thing I like about them is if they do not think that it needs extra stuff, they do not do it. I had one company in Manhattan that came to my home and they tried to talk me in regards to the heater that I need a brand new furnace and it was going to be $8,000. They came in and told me that I do not need a furnace. They said that I just needed a piece of the equipment. They did it and fix it and it was good. They were very honest. The cost was for the part and service as well. I do not use anybody but them now. Their price is competitive and fair. I am just pleased with them. I never had a problem with it after they fixed it like a follow-through type of problem. For example, Friday we had problems with the garbage disposal. I called them. Then, after I called them, we played with the garbage disposal more and got it to work. I called them back and told them that we had it fixed. Everything was okay and they did not need to come. This morning, they called me to see if everything was still alright with the garbage disposal and if there is anything that they needed to do. They have follow-through. They did not need to call me, but they did. They are a good company.

Kurtis was great to work with. He came in and did the estimate himself, gave me several options in different price ranges, no pressure to do any extra work that I didn't want. He showed me what really needed to get done and what could wait and explained exactly what he was expecting to do step by step. He and his crew were on time and took great care to lay down floor coverings to protect carpet and to hang tarps in areas where there was a threat of splatter. They took care to ensure everything was cleaned and neat before they left. They worked quickly and efficiently and had everything done just as discussed during the estimate. I will certainly be calling them for all of my future needs.

The provider was called for a routine freon charging, and after contacting them, they were scheduled to come out for same-day service. A time was given for the technician to come out to the residence and all seemed well, but the provider called back hours later to inform us that the technician would be tardy because of an apartment complex emergency. Being on a schedule made the tardiness a bit of a problem, but we were open to waiting for the technician to finish his apartment unit repairs before coming to us. However, after several more hours of no contact with the provider or technician, we decided to reschedule the appointment. We were told that freon could only be charged in 70and deg; or higher temps, and to expect a call from them when the weather permitted. After over a week of no contact with the provider, we have decided to move on to a different service.

On a Friday afternoon the gas company came by to tell me I was using an unusual amount of gas. Well when the gentleman and I checked my water heater was draining hot water and constantly heating. I called and MidState sent someone out, this was the end of their day. Luckily the gentleman that cam by was great it fixed it and I will use them again for any other plumbing I have any issues with. SUPER!

We really like them. They are really good. They responded promptly. They fixed it in a pretty quick manner. We had the same guy to do the installation and the plumbing. He was really quick about coming out here and getting the job done. I like that he worked quickly. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He gave us a few tips.

The plumbers showed up on time and they got right to work. They verbally provided me with details of how far from house the blockage was found. A detailed written report was sent with the bill.

Curtis is wonderful. Any time we needed him he always sent someone right over. Thanks for a job well done.

Excellent. They come immediately for needs. Their prices are more reasonable than others I've had. They do excellent work.

I contacted Midstate Mechanical to check out a gas pipe leading to a fireplace, which appeared to be leaking (according to the gas company). They came out on the same day that I called (I hadn't expected this), and replaced a valve and also added a sleeve to the portion of the pipe that extended outside of the house. Very competent, very efficient, very professional. I will definitely use them again when needed.

Serviceman called at the approximate time we discussed the day before. Arrived on time, assessed the need, and quickly and efficiently performed the needed work.

Mid state gave us the lowest bid for the type and size of unit that we wanted. They installed it in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. We have had one problem with the unit since the installation. Misstate repaired and serviced the unit once since the installation at no charge. We are completely satisfied with their work and the cost of their services and recommend them highly.

The week before Thanksgiving, our floor boards in the kitchen started to warp. We noticed that they were wet underneath. Another plumber came out, identified that there was a broken pipe under the slab, but said he wouldn't be able to get to it for about a week. Midstate Mechanical said that they could only do it if it was one-day job, but they got someone there the next morning and he was done by the time I got home for lunch. Replaced a 3' length of pipe through a 1' hole and sealed the hole back up with concrete. Nice job and very prompt service. The cost was what I expected.

This house had an add-on room with poor heat. Midstate found several problems adding to this situation. They completed three projects but also gave me other options in case these smaller solutions did not work to produce enough heat into the room. There was no a cold air return, which they corrected with a new cold air return which looked very nice. They removed a small fan in the system which was actually slowing the heat coming into the room and improved the flow through this system. They discovered and corrected an improperly installed dryer vent which was bringing outside air into this back room This work was done in just a couple of hours.

We lived in Manhattan for nearly 20 years and have worked with a number of different companies dealing with plumbing, hot-water heater, and furnance/air conditioning issues. Based on the recommendation from one of our friends we started using Midstate Mechanical for all of our needs. We haven't used any other service since. The people at Midstate Mechanical are by far the best in the area. If you want it done correctly, honestly, and at prices where they don't overcharge you, then call Midstate Mechanical. These guys are the best. They are experienced and know what they are doing. They are always helpful, curteous, and really respect your property and keep the work area clean. We have used others in the past and have individuals come to our home that don't know what they are doing. However, these other guys were always ready to up the charges, call others from their company when they couldn't figure out what was wrong or couldn't get the job done correctly. In my opinion, if you don't call Midstate Mechanical you are doing yourself a disservice. Other companies may give you a lower bid for a project, but you will end up paying more in the end. Do it right the first time. Call Midstate Mechanical. They guarantee their work!

We live almost 40 minutes away, inorder to help us reduce our cost Kurtis Lovgren was willing to work with us via phone calls and emails. He even had us take digital pictures with measurements (after we had removed the garden tub and shower) that we then emailed to him thereby reducing our bill by 1 trip. Via email and phone calls we picked out the tub that we wanted and when it came in, his supplier delivered it to our house the day before midstate was schedule to begin work. Due to the complexity of the drains being moved with limited to no access from underneith, the vice president Kurtis Lovgren came out and personally moved the drains, installed new pipes, applied thin set, cut and attached the hardie backer subfloor, moved new wall out to square up area and installed the new shower unit. They were very respectfull and professional even calling before they came out each day. Even though the actually job only took 2 days, they were incredible at keeping the work area clean. I just can't say enough about this company's customer service. Their willingness to use technology to aid their business' efficiency and effectiveness when not using it would have made them more money is not something you see in today's business work ethics.
