American Pest Management

American Pest Management performed an inspection of my property (1940 Bluestem Terrace, Manhattan, KS) as part of a home inspection with the house under contract for a sale (I am the seller). They found evidence of termite activity in 1 location in the house. They acknowledged that an abatement system was in place previously and suggested the buyer install a new system and check with the previous service provider. American Pest Management was the previous service provider and has a record of our previous inspections and termite activity. There was no activity for an entire year before we discontinued service. They misrepresented the inspection report in order to persuade the buyer or seller to purchase new service. A second opinion was obtained from Best Pest Control in Manhattan KS. They found no evidence of current termite activity. American Pest Management may have cost me the sale of my house as the contract was cancelled after the inspection. They had the previous reports and activity and intentionally misled the buyer to obtain new service.

Company is very good at telling you when they are coming, if the staff needs to check inside your house, or The staff is courteous and accommodating, the whole treatment went off without any problems.

They usually come and work, and then they check all the big traps and then they leave the result of their inspection either in a little baggy on the door handle, or they put it in the mailbox. So it is really unobtrusive and we have not had any problems since they came out and put traps in. So it is working, that is why we had them here. We had one time when we had to call them out and they came out pretty quick.

We originally called because we wanted our yard sprayed because of a tick problem. Then Ravi performed a free inspection and showed me where my house had previous termite damage. That colony had been treated and was inactive, but we decided to add the termite prevention to our plan. His reps have been courteous and on time for appointments, although one treatment couldn't be performed because the rep didn't have the right equipment. So far we are happy. It's expensive, but cheaper then the cost of repairs should a termite problem go unnoticed. It seems there are fewer ticks in the yard, but I guess you can't get rid of them all.

I called and spoke with a very polite gentleman, they arranged for an estimate and were exceptionally prompt. The estimator took the time to really understand why I had called, what my expectations were and made me feel comfortable. He even took the time to meet and make my pets feel comfortable with him. Amazing service ever since, I will use them until the cows come home!

They are really good I have not seen any bugs. They are efficient and let you know ahead of time before they come. They are punctual and efficient.
