Description of Work: I have been a customer of A-1 Trash service for a number of years. Trash collection is always reliable and good. However, customer service is poor. Whenever I've called and asked to a change in service it takes at least two calls to get the request done. Often when I call I get voice mail. I have never had my call returned. Recently I had an e-mail exchange with a company representative who was rude and argumentative and who never actually complied with any of my requests. I have discontinued the service because of it.

Description of Work: They are here same time every week. Even came & got the can a couple of times when we forgot to put it on the street. Also give a military discount.

+ -1 moreWe left for vacation before trash day and we were worried about leaving while we had a full trash bin but when we got home from vacation we notice that we didn't have to worry. They actually went up all the way to our drive way and got our trash bin for us and emptied it. I have never had a trash service company that would do that. Added plus for them is that they offer military discount. They have never missed a week and if our trash pick up day is on. Holiday they pick up the day after. I would recommend A1 to all my friends

+ -1 moreI called and started service in may of 2011. I would call and never get an answer. Someone would call me back later and always had an excuse for what the issue was. Never had answers. I gave every chance I could but they always let me down. When I called to quit service they called me back demanding an explanation. NO CUSTOMER FRIENDLY SERVICE
Description of Work: Bad attitude, very rude. Picked up trash about half the time. Felt intiminated when switching service. Would not ever use again.

+ -1 moreTrash service for a great price. Occasionally loose trash falls out of trash can but they always pick it up before they leave. They offer a military discount and have the best price for the service.
