Super job from start to finish.

A representative was able to come out to our home within days to take measurements to give us a quote for siding, windows, guttering, and exterior paint. Ted promptly arrived at the appointed date and time. He was pleasant and professional. He took his shoes off at the front door when he needed to measure windows from the inside of the house. He was NOT a salesman! Yay! He was very honest and direct and did not try to oversell us on products or services. We had a quote for services the very next day. We believe the quote to be of fair market value. He was able to bring out samples of the windows to our home. The only reason we did not go with this company is that my husband decided to do the siding himself with my brother-in-law. We are still considering this company for guttering and exterior paint. We would recommend this company to family, friends, and all.

They actually did the work I asked to be done. I had several people out to give me bids and they wanted to do the whole side of the house but I just wanted some repair work. They were the ones that actually did what I asked them to do.

I thought the job they did was quite good. Although, before they got to it, there were long delays, they did not come to the house when they said they would, and they did not call to say they were not coming. The person that came out and looked at the house wanted more things to be fixed, the workers missed a couple of things. I didn't call them back because I thought it wouldn't fit into their work schedule. I would possibly use them in the future.

The beginning started off well, but since I didn't receive an estimate, I have no idea the actual quality of their work.

Exterior Construction almost seemed too good to be true with their price and time estimate. So we asked for several addresses to see their work. We were very impressed, their work was far better than companies that were much more expensive. We even talked to some of the refrences and they had nothing but praise. Our house was a two story project, and they extimated it 2-3 weeks faster and over 5 grand cheaper. We also wanted to keep the classic look of our home requesting special corners and trim work that other companies said "Wasn't possible" with fiber cement siding. Exterior Construction made it happen. Showed up early - left late in the day when the work was done. Used their own crew. Very Happy with every phase of the project.

After two years in the house we learned that the ABTco siding was defective and part of a large scale class action lawsuit. We have a lot of bad areas and chose to replace all the siding instead of just the bad areas. The defective siding also caused several windows to rot so we included replacing them in the project as well. We also chose to have a new exterior door replaced. Another home owner in our neighborhood had used this company to replace their defective siding and highly recommend them. Ted McCormick, owner of the company, bid the project and his bid was competitive with others received. We immediately liked Ted and chose him to do the project. His crew was very professional and the project manager on site everyday was great. He patiently answered all our questions, had great attention to detail and took care of any concerns we had in a timely and professional manner. The crew cleaned up after themselves each evening. The project did take a little longer to complete than estimated but we would definitely use this company again.

One word can describe our experience: outstanding! We liked the owner, Ted McCormick, from the first. He is friendly, low pressure, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The workers are his own employees - no sub contractors. These men were respectful, nice and always cleaned up each day before leaving the job. If there were any delays, Ted always called and kept us informed. Ted would often strap on his toolbelt and join his crew to work on our house. There were a few surprises when the old siding came off - and Ted made sure everything was repaired properly before putting up the new siding - he didn't try to hide anything and he didn't charge us extra to fix it. A separate crew installed the windows and this was done equally well. The look of the finished window detail exceeded our expectations. After the painting was completed, there were some places on the trim that needed to be touched up - and that was done to our satisfaction. We would definitely use this company again and recommend them with confidence.
