I called them up and scheduled an appointment with Don to come by and see what he could do for my 2 bedroom house. Don arrived promptly, albeit a little bit late. I let him inside the house and could tell by the cringing on his face that this surely was really bad! Don explained that he had seen much worse with sewer backup smells (i can only imagine!) in other places and that this is just "par for the course." Don explained to me that since i had the carpets cleaned of all recent soils (less than 2 months old) that he wouldnt have to advise me of this important step but reminded me if the stain is older than 2 months that it could be successfully treated. anyways, the standard time allotmant for a treatment like this is one 12 hour treatment if the house is to be unoccupied or two 6 hour treatments when the residence is unoccupied and if we couldnt do THAT, he could come back and do a room by room treatment for just a little bit more. Seeing as how this p[lace was unoccupied and waiting to be rented i chose the standard 12 hour pet odor treatment for $225.00. the other services are cheaper as well. smoke odors in a whole house is $80.00, $35 for hotel rooms, $120.00 for hotel room conversions, $25 vehicle treatments and much more im sure couldn't fit onto his flier! ok, so how did it work out? well, i believe the points made on the flier about extermination is absolutely true. 6 hours into the treatment a neighbor from next door called me and just said i should "come look at this." i rush over in fear of something bad happened but what did i see? i see BUGS RUNNING i mean RUNNING away from this house through the yard and everywhere! the gas was driving bugs out that i had no idea were even there! so, the return? after the treatment i returned and met Don at the house. he was smiling. "why is he smiling?" i thought. well, that answer hit me like a ton of bricks. literally. The smell in the house after the treatment was AMAZING! it smelled alot like "fresh hotel room" or for the lack of a better comparison, "rain fresh air?". Don explained to me that the odor had been completely eliminated using ONLY Ozone gas. no sprays or anything. and that if the odor were to ever return another treatment would be performed. he did stress though that in order for the treatment to work that the original soil must be removed if it is less than 2 months old! am i impressed and will i recommend this company around town? You bet!
Description of Work: the service i purchased was an Ozone gas treatment for pet odors in my rental. after having my carpets cleaned the odor was still so bad that it had to be in the wall and furniture! I picked up one of D3 Total Odor Elimination's fliers at the Autozone on north Kansas and saw a list of their services. everything from pet odor removal, vehicle odor treatments, converting smoking hotel rooms into certified non smoking rooms and much to my surprise, a treatment for bed bugs, fleas, roaches and beatles. I had to give them a call!
