Everything went great! John was always on-time and did what he said he would. His crew leader George was fantastic and again always on-time. We had two windows that arrived broken, John noticed the issue and ordered two new ones right away. He wouldn't accept a penny until the job was 100% complete which in this case was three weeks after the majority of the windows went in (due to the two needing to be replaced) I would recommended John and his crew to anyone needing a good window at a good price.

The windows and doors are fantastic. The combination of the replacement windows and doors totally transformed the look of our house. Our house looks stunning!

John and his crew are professional, competent and customer focused. John communicates exactly when, where and what will be done. His estimates are reasonable and the quality is excellent. John explains who will be onsite and when. His work crew, arrived promptly at the time specified. They did exactly what was outlined for the installation, took their time to ensure that the work was done correctly. I will certainly use Zen windows for the remainder of my windows.

The custom windows were made and arrived in 3 weeks.. All five windows were installed in less than four hours and George "the install guy" and his team were professional and cleaned everything up beautifully! I got estimates from other companies and Zen, for what you get and the personal touch, can't be beat!!!

The installation went very well. They were on time, professional, and cleaned everything up very well. The real exceptional service came a few weeks later when I noticed water coming in above the window, thinking it was related to the installation I called John. They were at my house within an hour and uncovered a builder error in flashing that was causing the leak way above the window, this was not related to the window at all. Johns guys asked me if they could tear out the wood trim and replace the flashing. They had the builder error resolved (again, nothing to do with the window installation) in an hour and I haven’t had an issue since. The service Zen windows provided fixing an issue that had nothing to do with the job they were hired for was exceptional. I will be hiring them to do more windows for my homes and for my investment properties. Keep up the great work guys!

Great - they were responsive throughout the project. Everyone I encountered with Zen Windows was professional and followed through on what they said. A very good experience.

I cannot say that everything went as planned. In the beginning everything was awesome, met with John, he looked at the windows and we talked about getting triple pane for all the windows and rain glass for the bathroom. When the quote came, it reflected all those things, however, when the windows showed up, that is not what was delivered. I got a mixture of triple pane and double pane windows, and the bathroom window was not the rain glass as quoted. John came out, looked at all the issues and explained he would fix it all. The next time I would see them would be in a few weeks, they had the correct sashes, triple pane glass, and installed them. He also had the triple pane rain glass but did not have the seals to install it in the frame. A week or two later the seals came in and he had the new rain glass installed. Everything was fine until I felt a small cold breeze next to the rain glass window. John called the rep for the Windows, he came by and resealed the glass as well as used silicone to seal the window completely. Months later, that same window started leaking water when the rain hit it from that direction. I called John and he sent someone out immediately. They took out the window, reinstalled it, resealed it from the outside to include sealant around the frame and tested it with the water hose. So far so good. I write this whole scenario because I want to inform you that even though things did not work out at first, John has always did his best to make the situation right and fix any problems I have noticed and reported to him. Things do go wrong, that is normal, but what is great, is that he personally got involved and fixed the problem as quick as possible. I would recommend him and his company because of that and the Windows have made a difference in the temperature of the upstairs area. Thank you John!

Window replacement went excellent. From the the quick response by John to the zero pressure sales pitch I felt very comfortable. The windows came in as scheduled and the installers were top notch. The installers worked 13-14 hour days to get the windows in and I'm sure did much more work with my old rotted windows than I paid for. They crafted custom frames for many of the windows and when they found termite damage they repaired that damage as well to make the windows fit perfect. The windows are great quality and I will recommend Zen to anyone needing windows.

Perfect. John is extremely personable and very accommodating. He came to our home twice so that we could compare the two upper tiers lines of Polarius windows: ThermaWeld and UltraWeld. He did not require a deposit. His workers are perfectionists. They squared each opening, installed, insulated around each window, and replaced any wood rot they came across. They kept us informed through the whole process. The day after the install we had several sunny days. The temperature in the living room never got above 73 degrees. I was never happier to write a check for $6,230. The icing on the cake was the Mrs. Fields canister of cookies on our porch a few days later.

The entire experience was excellent. Prior to the instillation you could feel the cold drafty air, but that is gone! They sealed everything tight and the installers were very professional. They came back to insure that the fit was proper and no issues after the installation. John went out of his way to make me happy.

The crew was professional and courteous. The owner John Sims is very customer focused. He made the experience a real pleasure. He inspected the work, he followed up, he is a wonderful communicator. I wish all service providers were as awesome as Zen Windows. When it comes time to replace our windows, we will choose Zen Windows.

John has been very friendly and responsive throughout this process. Having sat through the 2+ hours sales pitches by other window companies, I was very pleased that our initial estimate was very quick and to the point. Any other questions or concerns I had were responded to quickly, On installation day, George and his crew were punctual, polite, and got the job done quickly. The windows look great, and they left the house in the condition it was in when they arrived. The house is old and I was hesitant to replace the original windows, so we asked to have the original sashes left behind for possible restoration down the road, and they were taken to our basement carefully stored away like requested! I don't feel like I can comment quite yet on the quality of the windows themselves, as they were just installed.

They were able to get us in earlier than expected, and the installation was done quickly and professionally.

We are very happy with the service provided by Zen windows. John was very prompt in getting an estimate to us and Marvin, our installer, did a beautiful job on the installation. We only needed 2 windows replaced and most of the companies I spoke with wouldn't give an estimate on anything less than 4-5. I will definitely hire Zen Windows again for any future replacements.

John and the install crew were great. We needed a lot of wood-rot repair which they did cost effectively. From day 1, I could tell I was saving money on my heat bill, I haven't had to adjust my thermostat except to turn it down. We initially received the incorrect type of glass in our bathroom (it was ordered correctly, just not sent correctly from the manufacturer), but it was quickly re-ordered and installed within a few weeks. So glad we were able to get our project done quickly and without issue!

Zen Windows did a fantastic job! We found them on Angie's List, gave them a call and they met with us right away. John, the owner, is very knowledgeable and personable. He spent about 15 minutes at our home looking at the current windows and explaining the products they use and the process. He then followed up with a bid. Per our request, he came to our house a second time to answer more questions. He was not pressuring in any way, which appealed to us. We had contacted 2 other window companies. We received a bid from one which was somewhat higher. The other company we called was very off-putting over the phone. They wanted us to commit to spending 90 minutes with them for their first appointment to our house, and told us that both home owners must be present. Due to their high-pressure sales tactic, we declined to meet with them. We are homeowners who carefully research and learn about our options. We are very satisfied with Zen Windows, and plan to hire them in the future for more work on our home.

George and his crew were in and out in no time. No debris leftover for me to deal with, very courteous. One small problem was found they came back the next day to remedy the situation. Windows and patio door are very nice. Would use Zen Window anytime and recommend them to anyone. Patio door with the blinds in the glass are great!!!

The job was completed in one day by a very professional crew. The attention to detail and finish work performed was excellent. It was nice that John himself came by a few times during the day to check in and make sure everything was going well.
