He did a good job on everything. However, the fan began being noisy again shortly after he left.

Fantastic! We are very pleased with the final installation. They were the only firm that drew up a design that was exactly what we wanted, almost like reading our minds. Others tried but their designs were not satisfactory as we still had to look at the stair railing system when we spent time in the rec room. We did not have any issue with the design Laurel and Jeremy presented, exactly what we envisioned. Wow!

Excellent service; quick response, great communication and fine workmanship. I would definitely not hesitate to hire Handyman Matters of Johnson County again.

Craftsman was courteous, but left work area dirty. Tracked dust from grout and tile cutting into the house. Also left paint stains on the driveway that Handyman came and removed after most of the project was done. Craftsman had to return to complete caulking that was incomplete after initial completion date. Overall work completed was fair. Would not recommend.

It went great.! They were prompt throughout the entire process ; Chris was on time for our initial consultation as well as for the installation,which was greatly appreciated. The work was completed in a day and it looks great.

I had them do 2 jobs for me and both of them were good. I called a couple of other services to do something like that and they couldn't get to it. I called them and they were able to do get to the job. The other services were too busy. If I had something come up I would call them again.

Turned out that parts are not available for our shelving system, and that we need a new system, not basic carpentry repair. While at the house, the handyman did other small work that needed to be done.

Went well. Definitely will give them another chance when we need handyman services.

There was one issue, but it got resolved.

They did want some money to come out. They responded. The first one was August 9th and I had to reschedule, and then the second one was August 16th. I figured out I probably wasn’t going to purchase the home. I initially contacted them on July 28th. I thought they were thorough, very professional, very, very expensive. The total cost for all their project work, I had them break it up into 4 parts, painting, basement, shed and tearing down the shed, possibly. That was $8,000, $14,000 & $5,000, so I was looking at $27,000. Which they wanted to do, which was ridiculous. As far as responsiveness and what I had ask them to do, they were fine. They have every right to price whatever they want. The prices were pretty high. They were good with responses. The owner was professional and very thorough. I would probably not use them because of their prices. It was great service, but it was very pricey.

Mike and Daryl come in to save our doors! They shaved them down, drilled the holes for door handles and put on the hardware. They were friendly and professional and we had a few laughs. After 3 months of remodeling a house with frustrating contractors along the way, it was refreshing to have people who cared about giving us a great outcome.

Work was done as described without incident.

Went great, the guys did a great job. They cleaned up everything, you wouldn't of known the had even been here except everything was repaired.

Exceeded my expectations. James did an excellent job. After pulling off some of the damaged exterior, he found additional damage to some interior studs. After picking up more materials, he fixed those also. After finishing, you can't tell where the patch was made, except the wood rot is gone. Excellent job matching the surrounding exterior finish.

They gave good explanations. The weather messed with them and it took longer than what they thought. Bu they still adhered to the original estimate. Over all they did a really nice job. They were really nice to work with. They were a little pricey. Everything but the painting was an A. When he painted the front door he only put one coating on so I had to go back over and paint it. But he the painting on the house he did good on. I would use them again in the future.

I don’t write many reviews, but felt I should with this company. Laurel the owner was nice and courteous and very prompt with her bid. I feel her company is probably okay with small projects. I feel Laurel doesn’t bid projects like ours often because her workers had to leave several times to pick up more supplies and wood. Also, we had to take away the electrical bid from her because she wanted $3063 and a master electrician charged us $595 for the same work. That is a savings of almost $2500. So we have to wonder if she overcharged us for the other work. Our project was to finish a basement room approx. 9x19. Over 1/3 of the room had drywall up already. I don’t believe the room was in her scope of work. The employees that were actually her employees did a good job and seemed like detail orientated professionals. The other sub- contractors she used were sloppy and not detail orientated. They didn’t listen when my mom advised them about cutting the drywall before attempting to take it downstairs. They said “we do this all the time and it will be okay.” Well they put a hole in the wall and had to bring it back up to the garage and cut it. The hole was repaired. If I had been home, they would have been told to leave. Drywall mud was many places it shouldn’t have been. The doorway was left unfinished. Scrapes were left and the walls weren’t prepped for painting. The painters got paint on the already finished baseboards and barn door rail. Laurel tried to make things correct and for the most part the room is fine, but I would have expected professionals to take more pride in their work. If you use this company, my advice would be stay on top of them. Laurel said to both of us “it is hard to look at a project in the middle and be able to see the final product. Most of our clients don’t look until it is done.” Well we aren’t the kind of people to not look at the progress. We have discovered a very deeply scratched mini refrigerator top and a slightly scratched bathroom sink since they left. The only people working were her crew and it seems they have no regard for other people’s property.

Laurel and the crew did an excellent job. I really appreciated the timely estimates. The work scheduling was performed just as you projected.

Chris did a great job on our doors. I wish I would have called this company years ago!

They did the work; it's finished. My husband didn't think the quality was great, like the painting quality was great. But the wood rot is repaired and they were quick and it was easy. The workers were nice.

They were fast to respond to my inquiry and came when they said they were going to come. The workers were very professional. They just did a good job painting.

It goes good, that's why I hired them more than one time actually. They are pretty responsive.

Great! Laurel, the contractor, always communicated in a timely manner so that I knew who would be in my home at what time to do what work. There was a minor glitch with replumbing the shower which resulted in some ceiling damage which they went above and beyond in repairing on their own dime. We're getting ready to have her come bid some more things on the never-ending "honey do" list.

Everything looks great for the most part

Chris did an excellent job. He was punctual and professional. He advised me on the best way to do the job. Ask for Chris he was reliable and easy to work with throughout.
