Beware of Weber Flooring & Carpet After paying $8,800 (2 rooms Linoleum - whole house Carpet) We were scheduled for a Monday with a no show until the next day which they say was a scheduling miscommunication, which caused us to miss work for two days. But the real WARNING is once our Carpet was installed I was vacuuming out the vents in each room to discover that a majority of the rooms upstairs the carpet was installed over our old pad. We called Weber immediately, they scheduled a installer to come look. So that morning Weber called to say that someone would be coming between 12-2 but more than likely the installer would find that just old padding would be found just around the vents and not the whole rooms. What was discovered was only one room upstairs had new pad. I wonder how many houses out there have new carpet over old pad? Look next to your floor vents in each room, look to see if your pad looks the same in each room. I also wanted to know why we would have so much Linoleum and carpet left over from our install. I insisted that while the installer was here installing my new pad I wanted them to measure what overage was left. My total sitting in my garage was $450. I was told they normally don't give an overage refund but do to the installers fraudulent behavior they would. We insisted that Weber give us our overage and 20% discount on our carpet install. We found them extremely difficult to work with regarding making this situation right and ended up just getting $800. Do yourself a favor and think twice before doing business with them! CHECK YOUR VENTS!!

Weber Outlet---Price was right, or so we thought, until we were charged for 48 unused sq ft that cost us an extra $226 not to mention the poor customer service! I was told the extra carpet was to match a very small pattern in the carpet. Well when the installer cuts carpet in long strips rather than for each step, there sure isn't any matching involved! I am sure if he had cut each step separately there would have been even more left over carpet. I had to call to see if our special order carpet had arrived. It had been in for over a week and I could have had a pre-Christmas install if Debbie had only checked on my order. The day before our install after never receiving a call, I called to confirm my AFTERNOON install, only to find out it had been scheduled for 8:30 am! I told Regina no one would be home; it was Debbie’s day off. Thank goodness for only putting 50% down on the carpet. Upon expressing my concern with the overage on the carpet, I was told I would get a $9 credit for the 30 extra sq ft. Well it wasn’t 30 it was 48. The explanation was that I was undercharged on the installation and would NOT be getting a refund on the carpet but would be getting the $.30 per sq ft charge for the pad refunded. You don’t get to change the amount quoted IN WRITING for installation when the customer is upset over being overcharged for extra carpet ordered! There were also problems with quality of install. Carpet started fraying where it meets the edge of our stair caps nearly immediately. This after paying extra per step for the stair wrap necessary with wood stair caps. There is no wrap! If you use the outlet, go through Regina, not Debbie, and only put 50% down so you have leverage in case something like this happens to you.

From start to finish it was excellent. Julie was our sales rep and she was super helpful. The install/removal only took one morning. The install team was great (Unfortunately I can't remember their names!).

I guess it’s okay, its good service, but the crew wasn’t too good. The sales end of it, they serviced it okay. The Mexicans that came didn’t do a very good job installing it. It could have been better, but for the money I guess it was alright. I’m not complaining. The service turned out expectable, but it could have been better. It’s not the product, but the installation wasn’t that great.

I went through Costco and really liked the people at Weber. They were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. There was a problem with my order that was outside of their control and I felt like they went out of their way to come up with a solution.

Attempted to purchase vinyl flooring. The saleswoman showed me samples & I took a couple home. When I tried to contact her with a question, she would not return my calls. Finally, after waiting several days, I called the general number & stated the problem; I was connected to her. I told her at that time that it was rude & unprofessional not to return calls; she replied, with no apology, that the store had been swamped. She answered my question & scheduled an appointment for a gentleman to come to my home on a Friday to measure for the vinyl/installation. He arrived on time, was courteous, professional and punctual. He said I would get a call from the saleswoman early the next week. I did not receive that call so starting on Wednesday, I left at least 4 messages for her that week & the next. After 2 weeks of waiting for her to return my call which she did not, we took our business to Sandy at Rigdon Flooring who provided excellent service & whom we highly recommend.
Description of Work: Saleswoman would not return my numerous calls so the job could not be completed. However, the gentleman who came to measure for the vinyl flooring did a good job, was courteous, professional and punctual.

The sales pitch went fine with Bob Bales. He promised us items which we would pay for such as moving furniture, etc. When the installers showed we found out they are sub contractors and knew nothing of moving furniture. They didn't even know who Bob Bales was with Weber carpet. So, they ended up moving the furniture. Then we found out they didn't have some of their tools with them so they went to Home Depot. They worked very slowly. They made a few more trips that day to get more supplies. Finally, after arriving at 7AM they did not complete by 9PM that evening. We said that was enough for one day they would have to come back tomorrow. The installers did not have good things to say about the sales person and his plans with the room. There is absolutely no communication between installers and sales. This is a very bad dream of an experience. I thought going through Costco we would be in good shape but we were let down. Update: The following day the one person showed again to install the 2500 sq/ft of carpet. He was so under staffed he had me stand on his carpet stretcher because it was not long enough. So, there I was standing on a carpet stretcher at 7:30 AM supposed to be on my way to work. It wasn't until I called Weber carpet and gave the receptionist the story about me helping the installer and my call to Costco services that we received help. Why the sales man never called in for more help confuses me.
Description of Work: We contacted Costco for carpet installation services. Costco sent us to one of their providers which is Weber carpet to install carpet.
Moving into an older home that had carpet in two bathrooms and linoleum in two others. Three bedrooms had old carpeting that needed to be replaced. Carpet had been installed in the hallway and other rooms about a year ago and we wanted to match it as closely as possible. Our sales associate helped us match the carpet and helped us with the selection of tile work for the bathrooms. A gentleman came out to our home to do a proper measurement of all the areas. All materials were in stock and installation was complete in two days. The installers were on time, professional and did a thorough cleaning of all the areas once the work was complete. We were very pleased with everyone we came in contact with and hope to use their services again when we need to complete some other areas of our home.
Description of Work: Installed carpet in three bedrooms and tile in four bathrooms.

Carpet salesman was very nice and helpful. Carpet installers were very professional and did a very good job. Problem was with person who came to measure. He was very professional and nice but he made a mistake. I had specified 1 type of carpet for the main house and another for a set of steps going from a airlock entry to the garage. I had told the salesman and the person who came out this. When the carpet arrived and the installers were installing it their work order had the same carpet for the steps in the airlock and the steps inside the main part of the house. Since I had been very clear as to what I wanted, when I checked the work order I signed at the time of purchase I just checked to make sure the carpet styles were correct. I did not figure the sq footage required for each and make sure it was correct. It was not, the measurer had added all steps together and ordered carpet based upon that. As a result in my main house I would have had a totally different carpet going from the main floor to the 2nd floor while the remaining part of the interior was a different carpet. At first Webber claimed it was my fault, and it partially was since I did not verify the details just assumed that what I had told them was what they had written as to the SQ footage of each carpet needed. They wanted me to pay extra so they could order more carpet for the interior steps. After a couple of discussions they decided they would not charge me extra to correct the mistake. They ordered the necessary carpet and installed it in about 10 days. I would use them again, but would recommend anyone using them or any other carpet installer to make sure if there is any chance something can be mixed up or misunderstood that it is clearly defined on the paper work you sign. Just because you feel you have a clear verbal understanding does not mean you have one.

Needed to have some padding replaced, called Weber Carpet, worked with Dina. Took all the information, scheduled someone to come out and measure, Scott did great job measuring, Dina was very good on scheduling. She worked hard to get the padding installed right away. Excellent communicator, returns phone calls promptly. The installer took his time and restretched the carpet, the Carpet looks Great !! Very Satisfied, the store Manager Bob Bales even called to see how the job went and that I was Satisfied Ask for Dina, no hassle, no stress, Great Communication, does what she says, very good customer service, Thank you

At first we were happy with the service we received from the weber carpet representative. Decisions were made, deposit was put down, and we were about to schedule installation. We then got a call that the products were "out of stock". We had to drive back again to pick out different tiles. Decisions were made again and installers were scheduled. We then received an updated invoice, which was incorrect (included old tile and prices in addition to the new ones). Then after discussions, we received several more versions. Each time the price of product and services changed. We asked about the price changes, but were told several different things, but came to a final invoice. The installers began installing the tile. Everything was going ok, until we noticed that the accent was wrong. The weber representative said they could order the right one, but it would take another week or two. There was no apology. We decided to not have an accent and requested a new invoice. The accent price and labor was not reduced to our liking. We inquired several times, but received push back with no change to invoice. Again no apology. The contractors did a good job installing the floor tiles. However, the shower tiles do have some scratches on the edge tiles and a few chips on the inner tiles. We are very disappointed and will not use weber carpet again on any future house projects.

Description of Work: I used Weber flooring to install Carpet in one large room. I checked with NFM also but chose Weber due to our sales person, she seemed to really listen to me and give me the best advice. Agreeing to a price and buying the carpet was the easy part. After that, I had lots of issues, mainly communication breakdowns. I called to setup the install date, they said they'd call back. Never did. I called back the next day as I needed it installed quickly and I left a message on a machine. They finally called me 2 days later with a date. I was irritated but agreed to go forward. The installers came and installed the carpet very quickly. We also paid extra to take the old carpet and move the furniture. They did a good job installing but after they left, I noticed they left a huge scrape on my hardwood floors on the transition piece between the carpet and wood where they moved the furniture (it was long and very deep gouge). I then called Weber and they weren't sure what to do so they said they'd call me back. Again, no one called me back for 2 days when I called back again. they then sent a guy out, he removed the hardwood transition piece and said he would take it to his shop to fix it. He didn't give me a definitive time but I figured it would be maybe a week? well he took it around the end of October and 2 and half weeks went by without hearing from the guy. I called Weber, it again took a few calls to get a hold of the guy, and he said he was still working on it... Well It's now December 16th and I haven't heard from them yet. I've left 2 messages on the phone for the guy but he hasn't called back. Very Irritated and can't wait to have this behind me...

The installers were punctual. They very carefully removed the bedroom furniture, installed the carpet and put the furniture back in the room. They were very careful to not scrape the walls or furniture when they were moving the furniture and they made sure that they returned to furniture to the exact place we wanted it. The carpet appears to have been perfectly installed. The only irritate involved the hauling away of the carpet (for which we paid $89). The installers put the carpet by the curb and said that the old carpet and pad would be hauled away by another company, who would recycle it. We assumed this would take place the same day or at least by the next day. It did not. We had to call Weber/Joes two days after the installation to ask them when the old carpet would be picked up. It finally was the following day. All-in-all, I would certainly use them. I would just clarify ahead of time when the debris is to be hauled away.
Description of Work: Purchased carpet for two bedrooms. The salespersons were very helpful and knowledgable. They were able to schedule installation for the following week. As for the installation, furniture needed to be moved out, old carpet and pad removed, new carpet and pad installed, furniture put back in and old carpet hauled away.
