Be VERy cautious doing business with this man. He took $3000 up front to order windows, and never ordered the windows. We contracted with him in Sept 2014 to replace/repair several windows. He seemed honest/hard working, so we provided him $3087.86 up front to place the order for new windows. Several weeks and multiple phone calls later - he kept saying, just 3 more weeks, just need a little more time. Finally, in December, after more excuses from Mike, we told him we wanted our money returned. He has paid us $1100 back, but we have not heard from him since beginning of February. He said we'd be fully refunded by mid February 2015, after he collected from his commercial customers - this ended up being another lie and excuse. Have not heard from him since. He still owes us $1900. We have been extremely patient and have given him - as a small local business - every benefit of the doubt. Well, our patience has run out. Who knows what he has used our money for, but it sure was not for our contracted purpose of new windows. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and will begin proceedings in JoCo Small Claims court to get my hard earned money back. UPDATE 2/24/15 - Mike came by today with remaining $2000 of our balance owed. Have to say I am pleasantly surprised and glad that our business with him and his company is complete. Consumer beware - he is probably okay for small/no money upfront type of jobs, but I would not recommend providing him or any other contractor with significant money up front. We have learned our lesson.

We paid him the money in January and in May we finally got him out here after calling more than fifteen times. He replaced one board, promised to come back and never did.
