The job took around 10 hours to complete for two guys and the repairs were excellent. The crew were extremely nice and professional and help remove some of the dirt that was left over due to the gravel being put in the window well. Overall the job went very well and no complaints.

Estimate was twice that of the next three highest rated firms on Angie's List.

Our insurance stinks, our house is 100 years old and the previous owner did not disclose about $200,000 in structural issues, two of which have nearly killed us...TWICE! Remember, Carbon Monoxide is the silent killer. Don't suffer in silence. I'm sure this provider is wonderful. Ours was not...it's taken 9 months and we're still not finished. My daughter is living in a half finished room and I'm having to allow workers in my house at random times to finish small tasks.

I thought the price was a little high and included work that I didn't think was needed so I went with another supplier.

Done in one day and looked professional in appearance. I can't remark on the overall functionality of the drainage system due to only having issues during flash flood weather conditions. I'll update my review based on the next time it flash floods.

They were not the cheapest of the three bids but I was very happy with their work. They submitted a details engineering diagram of the work with the estimate. They also made a couple of very positive suggestions on how to connect the sump pump in with the other drainage line outside and then bring them both to a favorable location away from the house. Would strongly recommend them to neighbors or use them myself in the future.

Following the torrential rainfall of the spring and early summer, we experienced water coming through a crack in the basement. After getting a few quotes, we bought the deal for $300 for basement crack repair. This was lower than their regular price that got quoted to us, so we were happy about that. They were already competitively priced, a lifetime warranty on the work was an added bonus. Their timeline was longer than other, more expensive companies, but I was ok with it. They showed up on time and were quite courteous while in my home. They described how the work would be done. When they were finished, they provided instructions on anything I needed to do afterward. Overall, very happy with the work done.

From the initial estimate to the finished job, everyone was great. Andrew Randazo (installation) did a fabulous job. He was very efficient, explained all of the possible outcomes well, and worked really hard to get everything back to the original level it was before. My drive way had about a 3"-4" drop below the garage and he got it level. He also did extra work to make sure the everything was level on my back patio. There was a little gap still left on the back that Andrew explained why the concrete wasn't lifting any more and how we could fill it in. He was extremely personable and friendly.

Gavin gave up the estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his assessment. His bid was extremely reasonable, compared to other bids we had had. The workers arrived on time, and stayed on task to get the job done. They cleaned up after themselves pretty well afterward. I have learned from past experience to always have the crew supervisor do an inspection to make sure work is completed before signing off on the order. Gavin came back and discovered that the beams had not been packed to stabilize them. He had the front office schedule a crew member to come back and do this. There was a delay in this reschedule, since there was a death in the family of the office coordinator, but this was understandable. Both Gavin and the crew were good about answering my questions and responding to my concerns.

They couldn't have been better. Nice, polite guy, arrived right on time, explained what he would be doing and worked quickly and efficiently. He replaced shelving and items it had been necessary to move in order to ge to the work. I appreciated that.

Phil was absolutely wonderful! He listened to me ramble on about my house and followed me everywhere I thought might be an example of a foundation problem. He was able to give me detailed explains on what each possible issue could be related to even though none of them were foundation. He was extremely knowledgeable and very honest. He found no evidence of foundation problems and didn't make any suggestions for unnecessary work. If I ever end up needing someone to come out in the future I will be calling Spartan.

Good to know there are still honest contractors out there. We requested an evaluation / bid regarding some cracks we had in a corner of our basement. The company rep, Gavin did a quality assessment of our situation and was very informative when describing the problems, the extent of the issues and how their company could address similar concerns. He was very knowledgeable, professional and polite. Much to our liking (and maybe a bit to our surprise) he recommended waiting a year and then reassess to see if the problem was any worse before taking any action. I am sure there are contractors out there that may have tried to lead us down a different path. Pretty refreshing. And, the estimate was free!

This is a continuation of my review above. I cannot say enough "good" about this company. We thought we still had a foundation leak (after they did a repair mentioned in above review). They came back a THIRD time and they discovered that this new leak was from my kitchen sink! And they did not charge me for the visit! Plus, they also said they would come back -- again at no charge -- to reattach the paneling and trim! What can I say? They are great guys and a great company!

I bought two $300 big deals for this service and it was okay. They recommended some bracing for the rear wall so we went ahead and did that too. I had a problem with the pricing. We would not use Spartan again.Their big deal only saves you about $12 to $14. They make it out like it is this big thing but then we had extra feet. They told us how much it would cost for the extra feet. After I did the math to figure the total cost I realized the savings were very small. They claimed Angie's List sets the $600 value on their big deal. Then I talked to Angie's List and they said the company sets what the value of their big deal is. Push come to shove they did go ahead and gave us $1,200 worth of service for the $600 that I spent for the big deal but they really didn't want to do that. They only did it because I was smart enough to do the math and point it out. But their ads are misleading. The last I checked they were still saying you are getting double your money with this which is definitely not true. When the sales man came out to show where the work should be done, and I checked the work, the worker had just put paint on the area and not the injection in a foundation crack and left. I was told I had a lifetime warranty on the work and if it leaked to call them and they would come back out. It did leak and I called them. They did come back and it does not leak now.

Went well. They gave good advice along the way. They seemed honest, competent, and professional.

They did a great job. There was some leakage still after their service but that may be attributable to abnormally high amounts of rain fall this spring and summer. They came out right away to fix the problem and are coming out again to fix another. The company is very responsive in backing up their warranty.

They put some spikes in; this shored up the foundation. The house was starting to settle on north side. They did everything fine; they were easy to work with. The employees were polite and cleaned up after the job was done. They were knowledgeable and hard-working.

They came out right on time. They looked at our cracks and evaluated the issue causing the cracks. At this time the cracks we not anything to worry about. We were very impressed and there was no charge for them to come out and take a look and give us an evaluation.

Andrew the owner came out, assessed the situation gave an informed educated opinion. Let us know costs, When friendly technician can out was very courteous and cleaned up after himself. The end price was right in line with the estimate. Very refreshing when having home repairs performed to hire true professionals!

Most of the time my basement is dry, but a couple times it flooded during heavy rains. I thought it might be due to a leak in the foundation, so I bought the Big Deal to get a professional evaluation. To my relief, however, he said I probably just had to do some caulking around my kitchen door and siding where it met the concrete stoop. He told me exactly how to do the caulking, and what kind to get. I did the caulking and I've had no more basement floods.

Came on time, got right to work, explained what he was doing, cleaned up and left......... problem has been solved and we have a warranty..........
