Excellent! Hearing the news that your home needs to be piered is not a happy time. We found Spartan on Angie's recommended list and called Andrew Vleisides, owner. Andrew came out to our home within the week. He assessed the work and calmed our nerves. He is a professional guy who knows his work....but has a wonderful, refreshing personality that takes away some of your anxiety. His team of Carlos, Jeremy and Justin worked on our home. They took three days as they had to hand dig the piers not being able to maneuver their machinery between our maintenance free homes. There was NEVER a complaint....they just went at it. They worked FULL days and on day three (the day before Thanksgiving!) they had another crew chip in to finish the work. When the job was complete they went over all details with us. You would never know they were in our home (three piers inside, three piers outside). The crew was immaculate, courteous and answered all of our questions. Should you ever find yourself in need of this type of service, do yourself a favor and call Spartan. Just an aside, we had the house inspected by a structural engineer who, when told of our foundation choice, affirmed we made a good choice.

Excellent work and fixed under warranty a leak that was hidden. Still have one more leak that will have to be repaired a different way which we were told up front might be required.

It was fine. I'm glad they had it done. It was at our house. My daughter she is very happy. It was all fine. They did a good job. She has no complaints at all. They did the job, they did it well. It was as expected.

Great! Showed up on time-did all items listed in the bid for the price bid. Time will tell but we think the work will make the water drain away from the house. We don't have foundation problems but did this to keep a foundation problem from occurring in the future.

Spartan did a wonderful job. Gavin was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the job. The foreman, kept me informed of the work being done each day. They did an excellent job cleaning up. Highly recommend!

They were the best estimate and talked about the way it would be done. They did the work in one day by using steel bars to hold the walls in place also set in concrete at the bottom and steel attached to the ceiling. They were american and I did not want anything else. done in a day . I am going to use them for cracks at a later date. beware other bids were for over 20,000, for the walls and the cracks and there was 0% financing for 12 months. My bid was 4500, but a discount of 5%. the other bids were for over 13000 and 9,000. So call several companies and get estimates done. This is the way I am going to pick a contractor for a new heat pump.

There work was efficient and professional. The repairs have survived many rains and a couple of deluges without a leak.

I had the area to be repaired temporarily filled with concrete to stop leaking. Andrew came on time to give an estimate and since the job was small and ready, he was able to have an available tech come over that afternoon and do the work. He was on time, very professional, did thorough job and cleaned up perfectly. Great job!

Andrew advised that we should wait to see if any repairs were necessary. How many companies do you know that would do what is best for the customer...instead of making a quick buck! Very, very professional. (I should also add that Spartan waterproofed my basement several years ago. We have not had any problems at all since the work was performed.)

Phil came to give us an estimate. He discussed the cracks in our basement wall and the techniques for filling them in. We were very pleased that he told us we should not fix the crack in the floor, as these are very common and will crack again. We appreciated his expertise and honesty. Spartan honored our Angie's deal. The price was very fair and the work was done just a few days after the estimate was made. The gentleman who did the work was punctual and polite and finished the job in under 4 hours, as estimated. Spartan gives a lifetime material and workmanship warranty.

No work performed, not in their venue.

While here, I asked Gavin for his evaluation on water coming from outside where the foundation meets the basement floor. It wasn't a constant issue, but troublesome. Gavin said that the only reasonable solution would be the installation of a sump pump. What I liked about this company was that there was no sales pressure and although Gavin had no requirement to suggest another Contractor for the immediate need (he could have just said, its not what we do and left), Gavin made sure that the repair process continued regardless of who got paid. If I decide that a sump pump is necessary, Spartan will be the first folks I call.

They were very friendly and easy to work with. It did appear that there was not good communication from one part of the company to another, one person you talk to wasn't aware of dates scheduled by another. I did receive one late notice a week or so after I had paid my bill. Also, they didn't need to do quite as much as they anticipated, so the final bill was a little less than originally bid. But they were very good to work with. They did a good job of trying to protect the things I had in the basement to keep them from getting too dusty from their work. The beams for support were all installed well, as planned. They did a good job of clean-up inside the basement. They did some work on repairing some of the damage to the lawn, but there are still some ruts I will need to fix myself. They did, of course, fix the major damage. They took up one fence to get into the yard, and got it put back properly. Their work caused some damage to another fence, which they fixed very well. They had a problem with one window well, which caused water to pour down the basement walls during one rainstorm. That has been corrected now. We'll see how the spring rains go, but I think everything is working as it should. I hope I never need them again, but if I do, I would have no hesitation in hiring them next time.

Gavin came out and measured and came up with a plan very similar to one from a structural engineer I had hired. The crew came out and finished the work on time in spite of some very cold, wet and muddy conditions that week. They did a good job!
