Description of Work: Installed 4 steel beams to reinforce heaving foundation wall, and graded 4 yards of dirt. They were good at not damaging more tile than necessary. It took a long time to get the A/C hooked back up with their sub contractor. Not a big deal since it wasn't hot out, though.

Description of Work: "Pros: Competitive Price, Acceptable Installation. Cons: Instead of removing acoustical ceiling components, they just tore them out and then didn't replace the destroyed parts or reinstall ceiling. I would have removed the ceiling if asked. Electrical wiring in the way of installation was left hanging even though it would have been easier to tuck them behind the new columns. Left over concrete was left on driveway."

Description of Work: Spartan installed beams (braces) to shore up a basement wall...filled cracks in the foundation...along the top of the foundation, replaced some wood that had been rotted away by moisture...filled in some spots near the garage and front doors where the concrete had eroded away...and used a material that expands to fill a void beneath the front steps. | |Spartan's people always showed up on time...were pleasant...were quick to respond to questions...did what they were supposed to do. The company's owner dropped by TWICE to make sure things were going well. | |Only time will tell how long the repairs last -- but there's a lifetime warranty, too. | |We'd use Spartan again. Description of Work: After calling another company for help in identifying a leak in my basement (they were of little help), I called Spartan. An estimator came out, braved the poison ivy outside and helped me find the leak in the basement. We went inside and he opened up the wall for me so we could find out how large the crack was. It was in a seam and was a straight forward item to estimate. | |on July 27, the technician came out to fix the crack -- did a tidy job of it too. Quick, easy, and exactly as the estimate said. | |I would absolutely do business with them again, though I hope to not have the need!
