The service came out and gave me a estimate on installing a sump pump in my basement. He also walked around the house and showed me areas that I could improve the drainage to help the foundation. I will likely use this company when I'm ready to make the investment.

The company representative that repaired the crack was courteous, friendly and seemed to know his job and do it efficiently I have heard pros and cons on this basement crack repair procedure so this is a wait and see right now but the repair person did his part very well and it may take a couple of years to see how effective it is. .

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate to repair the area around our water main pipe into the basement. During heavy rains, we experienced some water entering from that location. We received the estimate and proceeded to make another appointment for the repair. We had to reschedule once because one of their jobs took longer than expected. Our issue was not urgent, so I rescheduled for another day. The repair person called me to let me know his estimated time of arrival. He was pleasant and worked fairly quickly. The job seems to be done well.

They did a thorough inspection and told us a couple of minor things we could do on our own to alleviate the water issues we have had. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't find a reason to sell us some expensive repair that we may or may not have needed.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Spartan Foundation Repair. The service went good. It was exactly what he said it would be. He was there when he said he would be and it worked very well. He told me I was in pretty good shape, pointed out a couple of minor things that I could do like some masonry on the side under the porch. For my purposes, it was exactly what I was hoping to hear.

Andrew is a true professional and he knows foundations! They performed their work with integrity, started and finished the job as scheduled and charged the amount of their bid. They were recommended so highly on Angie's List that we only obtained one competing bid, but they were competative and followed up more timely. They had to cut a whole in our driveway to reach one side of the stoop that had fallen and followed up as planned to get it filled in. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

My yard was slanted towards the house and it wasn't draining properly, so they made it so the water would drain into the yard. There were also 2 cracks on one wall in the basement and they caulked those two cracks. They were on time and very professional. I would recommend them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a fine job but it is something that they do for free so it didn't work out very well. I could have called them and they would have come out for free. It is in their literature that I looked at online. I paid $49 for nothing. I was happy with the inspection they did. I had other companies come out for no charge. I'm upset that I paid $49 for something I could have had done for free. I didn't mention it to the company.

I will use Spartan Foundation Repair in the future, if needed.

From the time we received Andrew's initial estimate through Brian's completion of work, Spartan was completely professional. The amount charged was very fair. Work was completed in a timely manner. Now here's the deal: we received estimates from 3 other companies. At no time was I impressed, in the least, by either the scope of work or estimate from any company, other than Spartan. I found Spartan on Angie's list. I had no prior knowledge of Spartan or of any of its employees. I would recommend Spartan to anyone. Moreover, I would advise anyone that it would be a huge mistake to not obtain an estimate from Spartan. Thanks to Angie's list and, of course, Spartan!

Andrew from Spartan showed up at the time we had scheduled. He was helpful and knowlegeable and provided his professional opinion of the foundation settling. He did provide an estimate of what it would cost to dig it up and put in some piers but also said the settling wasn't very severe and could probably be maintained by taking some preventative steps such as buidling up the dirt level and slope away from the foundation. Overall I was satified with the easiness of calling, scheduling, and getting the information I needed in order to know if I should get it fixed or not.

I am a real estate agent and I have seen in my line of work many homes who have had companies repair cracks in foundations or lift foundations due to settling. many times the homeowners went with smaller cheaper companies and they got what they paid for, shoddy work and companies that would not warrant their work or went out of business. It was very important to me to get a reputable company, and one that would warrant their work and I felt would be in business for a long time. I called 3 companies to have them come out look at our home and give me bids on the work that needed to be done. The first two companies that came out told us 2 different things as far as the amount of piering that needed to be done, and were almost $7,000 difference in price. also the 2nd company which was the more expensive one said they would go down 20 feet to hit bedrock and if they had to dig deeper than that would charge us so much extra for each foot. While we were waiting for the 3rd company to come out I joined angies list and started doing alot of research. I actually ended up cancelling the 3rd company which is very well known, due to the reviews on Angies List. One day while talking with my daughter-in-law she mentioned there were several people at her work who had used a company called Spartan Foundation and were very happy with them. So I again got on Angies list and there they were and with all A ratings. So I gave them a call. I think it was Phil who came out, . He looked at our house and sat down and talked with me which wasnt easy as I was babysitting grandkids. He was very patient with the interruptions, and sat and explained everything to me, what needed to be done and exactly how they would do it and the cost, and they would not charge us extra if they had to go deeper than 20 feet, which was good becasue they ended up having to go 35 feet. I mentioned to him the other companies we had had come out and give us bids and he never said a bad thing about them,. You see one of the companies that had come out called to see what we had decided and when we told them we were going with Spartan started talking about how bad their piering system was which was funny because it was the same system they used. I do not appreciate companies bad mouthing someone else just to get business. When the day came to actually raise the house, it was very nerve wracking with all the creaking and groaning but they were great about coming in and explaining everything that was going on and walking us throught the whole process. I would highly recommed Spartan Foundation to anyone. They not only do a good job, but really care about the client.

The gentleman who came out was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave an opinion on a cracked foundation wall, just watch it for now. He also gave advice on leaky basement by reviewing the outside landscaping and making suggestions for keeping water away from the foundation. He also verbally estimated what it would cost to seal leaks in the walls if the landscaping changes did not resolve the problem. All of this was no cost. If I do need to have cracks sealed in the future I will definitely use them.

They determined that we should contact a structural engineer. I appreciated their honest opinion.

I sent a message via the Angies List tab. They called me within 24 hours. Scheduled an appt. within 3 days of initial contact. Phil arrived on time and was very professional. He surveyed our basement and took the time to explain what was happening to our walls and foundation. We will probably eventually need it to be pier'd and he gave me an estimate of what it will cost to fix. But he said we are still in the wait and see mode and that we did not need to do anything just yet and to watch it. He gave me practical signs to look for if things start shifting. Our foundation buckling is a result of the dry weather and not enough moisture under the foundation. He said that we could put a hose around home during the summer and just wet it once a week. He said that it will probably go back down again if the moisture returns under the foundation. He was very professional and personable. I would recommend him to my own mother. I am very glad they are the only ones that returned my call and came out and looked at our home.

I was extremely nervous about fixing my home. I am a single mother and was concerned about finding an honest contractor. I vetted every company on Angie's List and narrowed it down to 2 companies. I hired an independent structural engineer for an unbiased opinion (best advice I ever got) and he asserted that the company of my choice was honest and would stand by their work. This is the only company that did not want to do more work than I actually needed. In fact, their original estimate exactly matched what my independent engineer said I would need. Andrew is completely trustworthy and has kept his word in everyway. I could not be happier with using his company.

This is the best concrete/foundation/waterproofing company around. Andrew Vleisides is honest, easy to work with, conscientious, and extremely knowledgeable. I felt blessed to have him and his crew working in my house. If you are looking for a company that will do super work without overpricing their labor, this is the company for you.

Overall, I would recommend Spartan to at least give an estimate for any foundation or waterproofing work. Andrew did a good job of educating me on what products are available and the pros and cons to each.

Andrew Vleisides and Spartan Foundation Systems did a great job on raising our foundation. We had multiple cracks in the interior sheetrock and they closed up after the foundation was raised. The crew worked hard including working through the heat and a rain storm as well. The work took longer than anticipated but the crew did a great job. Our patio was damaged during the work and Andrew treated us very fairly in getting it replaced. I will definitely recommend Spartan to family and friends.

Andrew came out and inspected the house, we had just moved in this summer and had noticed new cracks and uneven flooring. His advice was to wait and see. He was very informative and helpful. He explained that fixing things before we had enough information could lead to bigger issues later. He was definitely very credible and knowledgable.

They had excellent service. They were very informative. He was spot on. We were very pleased with him. He was very honest and if we need any foundation service in the future we would probably go with him.

They came promptly and looked at the basement but no work was necessary at this time.
