On the day of the appointment I left work early to meet the technician. Approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled time he called to let me know he was running late. As it turned out I did not need to leave work early for the appointment. Once he arrived the process was explained, and started to repair the crack. Everything was ok until the injection of material into the crack. The technician did not have the necessary tubes to connect the injection gun to the ports. He apologized, and we set up another appointment for 2 days later. He was late for this appointment as well, but he did call to let us know he was running behind. Once he arrived, the final step only required 5-10 minutes to complete. The technician was apologetic for the problems encountered during the service. Both appointments were last in the afternoon, and he was traveling from Johnson County to Gladstone, so traffic can be unpredictable. However, the second trip would not have been necessary if sufficient supplies were available. The expense of the second time had to greatly exceed the cost of the tube.

He was very good and I like him a lot. He was very honest, he said that we could fix it on our own by moving some of the mulch away from the house which did work actually.

I was unable to use the company due to the work I needed done not being fully covered by the Big deal. They were very polite and professional.

All the folks at Spartan were very professional. The quote and the install went without a single hitch. Timely, cost effective and efficient. Can not say enough good things about this experience.

Spartan scheduled a fair bit in advance of the work, and told us we could check back closer to the estimated work date. They were only off schedule by a week when we called, and contacted us a week beforehand to confirm. They dropped off equipment the day before starting work, and got promptly to it the next day. The whole job took 4 days start to finish. The company representative that had done our original estimate came to the work site every day to check on the work that had been done, and to see if we had any questions. They lifted the house a few inches in the worst area, and that brought a number of door frames and walls back very close to perfect alignment. They were prompt and professional, and very good at communication once the job was started.

It was excellent. They did a very good job and we have to wait until it rains, but as fair as can tell the service was very good.

I contacted Spartan to look at a leaking foundation wall in the unfinished part of our basement. Paul gave me a quote and I purchased the service. The cracks were promptly sealed using wall injection system. Paul told me the repairs came with a lifetime warranty and were transferable to a new homeowner. When I asked the technician who did the repairs about a written lifetime warranty, I was told to that normally came from the office. A few weeks later we had a rain storm and there was a small leak near where the injections were done. I emailed photos of the leaks to Paul and asked for someone to come out and stop the leaks (this was on June 3). Paul called me after receiving the email and said someone would be out to fix the leaks. As of August 26th, I've not heard back from Paul or anyone else at Spartan about the follow up repairs or the paperwork for the lifetime warranty. While this company makes a good presentation and upfront service, my experience is they fall short of expectations on the back end when it comes to servicing or standing behind their work or product. For this reason, I am not able to recommend this service for leaking basement repairs. Not at least until they resolve my concerns to my satisfaction.

He was on time, professional in all conversation, explained what was being done.

It was fine, I liked the actual worker bee. I wanted more work done after a few weeks had gone by, and called the office. The young man who performed the service had given me a quote for fixing one other thing and so I called to make an appointment for that repair. The woman at Spartan questioned the bid price and wanted to make an appointment for another employee to come out and give me a truer bid. I assumed that the error was in my favor. I made the appointment but it was too far out for my needs and had someone else perform the work immediately. I called to cancel the appointment.

Andrew showed up earlier than agreed after he'd called to check if that was OK. He walked all around the foundation with me and pointed out what I did and didn't need to address. He checked the engineering report on the foundation and gave me advice on what to do next. He also suggested a solution for the leak in the basement--better drainage and grading along the side of the house. If that didn't work, he said, I would need a sump pump, which his company could provide. Since I told him that I would probably be putting the house on the market in about a year, he gave me some very good advice on how to make the necessary improvements to the grading and foundation issues so that the inspection report would be positive. He gave me an invoice for the foundation work if I found out that it was urgently needed. He spent quite a bit of time with me, patiently explaining everything. He did not charge me for the visit, and he left me feeling more confident and reassured, and with more knowledge about what would need to be done in the future. I will definitely contact him for future work.

It was a total waste of time. The gentleman who came out didn't even provide a written record. I had to go after them to get something in writing. He said that the foundation looks fine and referred me to someone else. Since I've had other people come in and they said that the foundation was not fine, so that it was a waste of money. He looked around a little bit and the grading looks good over there; but I had three other contractors come in and said the grading did not look good. Here, I had to go after them to get a written report. The problem and the assessment didn't turn up correctly. There was no problem in getting hold of them and getting back. The guy came on time.

The service went well. There was additional work but it was outside of scope, it was a pretty minor job.

Service provider was very professional. He kept in contact with me regarding the appointed time for the repair. He knew he was gong to be late, so he called me well in advance, so that I did not waste my own time waiting around for him. We met within 10 minutes of the time he gave me during our phone communication, so it worked out well on my end. He handled the fix, explained what he was going to do, showed me the work, explained in detail what I could do to "finish" the repair work (painting, removing the fill tubes plastic pieces from the dryed material in the crack), suggested and pointed out other potetial problem areas in the foundation, left me his card in case we had follow up questions. Very professional and efficient. Easy to talk to. I'd have this company back if I have further need.

We had purchased a big deal and it turned out well, we scheduled it, they came out right on time, and everything went very well. The technician who came out was very good, and he did everything good and as scheduled. He looked at other things for me, and didn't think I needed further work at that time.The big deal was a great deal, and they were very good at responding.

The provider called before he arrived. He came in and surveyed the areas to be treated. He returned to his vehicle and got his materials. He helped move the freezer in front of one crack. Then be proceeded to treat first one crack then the other. The entire process took about one hour. He cleaned up any mess before he left.

He removed the cardboard mixing area and all of his materials. The project was handled quickly and the mess was cleaned up.

The original appointment was made for July 4th. I was surprised they were working on a holiday, but due to the Angie's list coupon, they were slammed with calls. Brian came out, was very polite, we went to basement & he explained what he was going to do. In about 45-60minutes, he called me downstairs to show me the little "pegs" sticking out of wall were to be knocked off after 48 hours. He left & I went back in to look at it, & when I really zeroed in on the crack, I was really upset. I waited till the next day & called to speak with Andrew, the owner. I told him I was very unhappy with the way it looked & how obvious it was that a repair had been made on the wall. It was all "lumpy & bumpy", I, for some reason, expected it to be smoothed out & not noticeable. That certainly wasn't the case! He & I were both heading out for vacations, so we set up appointment for yesterday, the 22nd. He worked on it & I'm very happy!!!. I would most certainly use his company again!!!!

I bought an Angie's List coupon and contacted the company. My interactions with them were all very pleasant. My only complaint would be that we had to schedule the service out a ways due to the high volume of activity generated by their coupon offer. Luckily basement water problems tend not to be much of a problem in July so this wasn't much of an inconvenience at all. When the day of the appointment came Brian was on-time (actually early), courteous, and communicated well around what the plan was. He provided me with an estimate for the work that needed done right on the spot and offered to take care of everything that same day. The cost seemed very reasonable, so I told him to proceed with the work. When the job was completed, he told me exactly what he had done and why and even went to the trouble to discuss how to present what was done should we decide to put our house on the market. All in all, a great experience. I'm interested to see how the repair holds up when we have our next large rainstorm, but for the time being I'm extremely happy with my interaction with Spartan.

Ok except I thought the work would be neater. My expectation might not be realistic.

This job is going extraordinarily poorly. I bought the deal for $200 to fix one crack in my foundation. That means that they got my money up-front. Which also appears to mean that I am not a priority to them. I bought the Angie's list deal at the beginning of June and initially got scheduled for the end of June due to them being "extraordinarily busy." Then they tried to reschedule me to the beginning of July. I fought that and eventually got them to agree to see me at the original scheduled time. The appointed (and long awaited due the crack leaking) time arrives and the "professional" comes and gets to work. But he doesn't have the tools to finish. He tells me another of their techs has the proper tool and he'll get it and return in a couple of days. Seven days pass, there is no contact from them. I have to call THEM. We set up a meet time of 3-4 on 7/8/13. Their "professional" was a no call, no show. I have to contact them again on 7/9/13. They take my message, not schedule a tech to come out, not give me customer service, but TAKE A MESSAGE and tell me someone will call me back. Two hours later. Still no call back. So I have to call them AGAIN. Nearly an hour later, I get a call back finally. And now they tell me that they do not have the tools to finish, they have order the tools in and it will take another week. What kind of "professional" company does this sort of thing? What kind of "professional" specialized technicians don't have the tools available to them on hand to fix a crack in a foundation? The job is still incomplete.

The technician that came to my home was professional and polite. He explained the process to me very clearly and allowed me to inspect the cracks before and after the work was done. He even took the time to speak to my husband over the phone and explained everything to him.

Brian was on time and courteous went right to work he told us what he was going to do and how it was done. When the first part was drying he looked around the rest of the area and gave us some ideas for the best runoff for water. He completed his work, explained what to do when it cured. He told us if we had any issues or questions to contact them.

The crack was sealed and looks good. I got an estimate from Brian for the rest of the work to make my basement dry and probably will have the work done. Very pleased so far but it hasn't rained yet so I don't know if the repair is effective. It certainly looks like it would be.

It went fine. The crack was larger than the 8 foot that was advertised, so there was an additional charge, just as they advertised. I think it was an additional $50. They were on time and did the job as advertised. I have no complaints. I would use them again in the future.

Technician was delayed, but he called and re-set the appointment
