The workman was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. The repair looks good and has been water-tight. We have no complaints!

He came over and gave a look over. He told me his thoughts. He gave me a prompt reply. He's down to earth. He was very helpful.

They were fine. They were communicative and kept in touch regarding the scheduling delays. When they came out, they did a great job. We were looking to sell our house, and our real estate agent mentioned that they did a good job as well.

How do I love thee Spartan Foundation, let me count the ways! Seriously though. I tried to ignore it when the brick facade on my house started to fall away and detach from the main part of the house. But you know it's bad when your 85 year old neighbor says, "You got problems, girl." I was dreading calling any foundation companies for a quote. Dreading it. So I finally got the courage to call Spartan. Andrew came by and looked at my foundation and the basement. He seemed completely non-plussed by the damage. In order to pull the permit I needed a structural engineer to do an analysis. I did that then called Andrew back to come out again, review the recommendations and give me a formal quote. The quote was beyond reasonable for what they were going to do (in my opinion). The workers arrived about a month later and basically became members of my family for about a week. Andrew recommended doing some of the piers on the inside which saved me having to tear up my sidewalk and all of the landscaping on one side of the house. So the holes were dug (so labor intensive the number of buckets of dirt and cement that were hand carried out of my basement was amazing. Everyone who was working the job were courteous and hard working. Wes was the overall project manager and always checked in to make sure everything was moving according to plan. After the piers were installed the guys raised my house by hand. It was wild to hear the creaking as my house go a "foundation lift". After the piering, they came back and installed four braces on the SW wall (where most of the piering had taken place). They filled in the cracks with magic sealer - they had to use two different kinds because in one section of the wall the cracks always stayed wet. My house was dismantled with care and returned to working order. The guys were so conscientious. They even came back and pushed back the brick facade another inch. They put everything back together. Now when it rains? I sleep through the night. My doors close. And my house has stopped moving. I can't say enough positive things about my experience. I appreciated the option to be able to finance part of the project cost.

After the last rain, I had some water in my basement and found a hole. I called Spartan and set up an appointment to have Gavin come out and see what could be done. Gavin called to let me know when he would be there and was right on time. He quickly figured out what was the best option and got me a quote. I asked a lot of questions and he took his time to explain the process and what needed to be done to prep the area. He addressed every concern I had and was very pleasant. Sometimes people who come out are rushed and just expect you to take their word for something. I have not scheduled the work yet because I need to get some other things set up but I will definitely use them to take care of this issue.

Spartan has been very responsive with our concerns. When they reviewed our problem they told us the possible solutions and suggested we start with the least expensive fix and go from there. The least expensive fix isn't working so far but they came out and are going to try another step for free to see if that works. From there we will keep progressing upwards but they are discounting my price with each step. I really, really appreciate this approach. A different foundation company came out and immediately gave me a quote for the most expensive fix plus it was higher than the same fix (if we eventually have to go to that) will be from Spartan. Kudos to Spartan for their honesty and not trying to take advantage of a customer.

My husband and I saved and saved to install new windows. When we finally saved enough that we felt like we had a realistic budget, I went to checkout our windows and that is when I first discovered the foundation issue. The foundation had fallen from the window about 1/2". So much for the window budget, first the foundation issue had to be address. I called 5 companies to provide estimates. It was a difficult decision because out of the 5 companies that provided an estimate, I really felt 3 of the companies were solid. However, we choose Spartan Foundation because of Andrew (who came out to provide the estimate & is the owner). You never really know for sure if the person you are asking to do a job for you is being honest, but Andrew seemed to be honest. There was no high-pressure sales involved. He listened to my concerns about taking down my fence in order to get the equipment needed to do the job into the back yard. He listened to my concerns about the brick (I was afraid the brick would cracked when the house was raised). And, really he seemed to understand that to me this was not a small job even though for him it was common. He explained that even though it seemed like a foundation disaster, it could be dealt with and repaired without too many risk of the brick cracking (no guarantees, but not likely there would be too many cracks - if any) and he told me that his people take fences down and replace them often. It is part of the job. He said all of this with confidence and without a condescending tone. He explained what the process of installing piers meant and how it works. After I decided on Spartan, Tiffany, (I assume is a office manager) called a few weeks later to confirm a date to have the work done. She called again the Friday before the Monday the day the work was actually done. From the day I decided on Spartan till the time the work was completed it took 4 weeks. Spartan may have been able to do it sooner, but I requested a specific week I preferred the work be done. Spartan also called utility companies to mark for a dig. The cable company did not mark before the work began so a cable was cut during the dig, but Justin called the office immediately and Tiffany called the cable company. Then, Tiffany kept me informed. I did not have to call her and ask, "What's going on with the cable?" The cable company repaired the cable that evening. The day of work: Justin and Carlos were on time. They begin around 8:30 a.m. Justin was extremely professional. I repeated my concerns about the brick (we did not have to remove the fence after all, so that was no longer a worry). Justin took me through every step of the process before they began the work and during the process he explained what they were doing when I choose to observe. I was like a kid when it came to raising the house. It's kind of amazing that can be done. Justin and Carlos were patient with my crazed-like concerns and they raised my house slowly while I watched. I asked questions and Justin answered politely. I never felt like he was annoyed while I observed or asked questions. And, no brick was cracked! Such a relief. As a home owner, it is frustrating when you have work done and the outcome is worse than before. Most of us have been in that situation and it is not a good feeling. After installing the piers, Justin and Carlos replaced the dirt, cleaned up, got the "thumbs-up" from me and were out of there by 1 p.m. So, thank you Andrew, Tiffany, Justin and Carlos. I am an extremely satisfied customer. I hope I do not have to see you again, but if I do need foundation repairs, I will be a repeat customer. I am happy to say, "Andrew was being honest." Spartan Foundation did a fantastic job and now we can begin saving for the windows again. :-)

Also confirmed our sump pump was working correctly.

Brian was the techand he was great about answering all of our questions, explaining the process and what the repair would do. We were happy with their service and asked for bids on additional work.

Their suggestions weren’t practical for what I needed. It was too expensive to go with their suggestions. One person came out. He was pleasant and looked around. I probably wouldn’t call them because there are cheaper options.

Phil came and basically told me that concrete crack repaired is not going to help with my problem.

The team at Spartan is professional and great to work with. They arrived on time for the appointment and explained the process before starting any work. It's been almost a month now since the work was completed and no signs of leaks. Would highly recommend this company!

The coupon that they offered didn’t mention in the description that it was only for indoor cracks not outdoor. I had an outdoor crack which they would have done but for a lot more money. He was apologetic and let me know how to get a refund from Angie’s List. He was polite, responsive and professional. He was also very thorough with his bid which included other work as well which I decided not to pursue to at time.

I used the Angie's List coupon. Everything went great. More repairs were needed, so I planned to have them back again. UPDATE: I had Spartan return to complete several more cracks in the foundation. Andrew arrived and examined the entire inside and outside of the basement. He was very knowledgeable and professional. His crew completed the repairs and I was charged a discounted price. Most of all, he was honest and did not try to sell me any services that were not required. I appreciate businesses like Spartan that provide honest evaluations, excellent service and a good price.

I had a big deal purchase with Spartan Foundation Repair of $199 for foundation repair. They were fine. They worked in our place, it just didn't work. It was effective in our bedroom but we think that the crack was some place else under the house. We had two other places done as well. They're perfect, they were wonderful. They're very efficient and very good to work with.

Two basement cracks were repaired. Work done in a timely manner and mess was cleaned up.

Phil from Spartan came out and did an extremely thorough investigation. He spent an entire hour with me, first looking at everything I had questions about, be it in my basement, upstairs, or outside, and then doing a complete interior and exterior examination himself. For every area of concern I had he had an explanation and gave me a good initial education in foundation issues: what is a problem, what is not, how things are constructed, and what to look for in the future. He then toured the entire property, pointing out areas where I should do preventative maintenance for water or erosion to avoid needing any sort of foundation work in the future. And I think that is the main point: he spent all this time educating me and telling me all the things that I might do to protect my house myself or through other contractors and not trying to find a fault that wasn't there so that his company could get some work. A poor contractor would have found fault in non-issues. A good contractor would have found no-issues, but would have concluded that quickly and would have left as soon as possible. An excellent contractor stayed, put me at ease, and gave me great tips to prevent future problems. I hope that I never have foundation problems and I will certainly pay attention to the information I was given, but if I ever do need work, I guarantee it will be Spartan Foundation that does it. Knowledgeable, honest, and friendly, I think they will do an excellent job on whatever problems you may have.

It was excellent. They are very knowledgeable, very friendly and gave me all the information upfront, had things done in a timely manner all successful. The workers were clean and timely.

Everything went great. He called to say he could come out early. He arrived a few minutes early. He was courteous and very easy to speak to. He took time to explain what he found and his recommendation. I didn't feel rushed or even bull-dozed over, it was great!

Arrived late for repair, this was Monday after time change so think that was the reason. Otherwise all went well.The job was done quickly. However, there was only 8 feet of crack repair so the second coupon I purchased was not needed and I would like to get a refund for the second coupon.

I had a crack that developed in the foundation in my house and they came out and injected some epoxy and sanded that off. They repaired some of the cracks in the window sill and they also repaired some cracks in the floor of the basement. It turned out very well. They did a very good job and their price was very reasonable. It did not take very long for them to respond to me. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Excellent service. Checked other minor cracks in walls - provided advice and peace of mind on action to take (or not to take) and lifetime guarantee on the repair. Service man was in and out in an hour, cleaned area, very little mess or fumes; will check for leak after next rainfall but expect repair is solid. Thank you Spartan!

So far so good and once we get some rain I will let you know if it is working or no. He was fine. He was downstairs and I was upstairs and it sounded like he was talking to someone on the phone and I thought to whom he could be talking to and he was going on, on and on. He was really quiet and now he got loud and noisy and it kind of got scary there. I thought what he was doing and it was crazy and he said he had headphones on and he was singing. It was odd and he was singing to music but he was a nice guy and did a fine job but that one was a little creepy. He came in and had the stuff to crack and he didn’t really tell much.
