They came when they said they would and did what we agreed needed to be done.

We had not, historically, had good luck with foundation contracts. We've had bids from and even used some of the big names (the guys you see on all of the tv ads) in town. The results were never satisfactory; there was a lot of 'try this or try that'...sorry, that didn't work. Pay us more and we'll try something else. We've have 2 structural engineering (by P.E.s) reviews as well. Lots and lots of talk about possible product solutions; not talk at all about what caused the problem and how to solve it. With Spartan, it was a completely different story. We were pretty skeptical because of previous experience, but the Angie's List results were positive, and we knew we needed to get the work done...so we called. Gavin came out first, professional, no nonsense. He looked at our situation and listened to our complaints of past poor performance with other services. He asked to set up a follow up meeting with Andrew, the owner, at our home. At that meeting, Andrew walked through our house and gave the first real glimpse into what was giving us foundation issues. He helps us, as consumers, to understand the likely cause of our problems and the possible solutions. He didn't promise miracles, but he gave us realistic alternatives and explained how each would be used to address the problem. Everybody else had come in, given us a 10 minute walk thru and decided we needed this thing or that thing...as if their goal was to sell product. Spartan wanted to fix our problem. That's the key difference. We decided ultimately to use Spartan, and we set a start date. Their office called and asked if they could start EARLY (yep, I am not lying...early). The team showed up on the appointed day and worked liked dogs. We tried to stay out of their ways. They had anticipated 3 days of work. And at precisely the end of 3 days of work, the work was done. The floors are level, the doors and windows close as they should. They even picked up and vacuumed after themselves. So in summary, they figured out what needed to be done . They came ahead of schedule to do the work. They completed exactly when they'd estimated they would finish. The crew could not have been nicer. And most importantly, the solutions worked. I've never been so happy to write a check. I think in general, we're reasonable consumers; we know things go wrong sometimes, and maybe the other previous contractors had reasons for their failures. But this experience with Spartan was a breath of fresh air - on a repair that I was not at all looking forward to having done. We are big fans. Our advice: look past the tv ads and call the guys with the great reviews. I'm glad to pile on to the happy Angie's List reviews.

Garage needed three piers installed, Spartan was the best overall value out of the three quotes I received.

He was personable, explained the process well, did the work as quickly as was consistent with doing a good job, and left. There were no problems.

All went well! The employee that came out for the estimate was running a couple of hours behind, but he called early in the day to let me know and called again later in the afternoon to give me an update. I very much appreciated the notice! The crack repair a few weeks later went smoothly! No complaints!

They were responsible. It happened during the time I was having cancer surgery. I kind of went in with them just starting the work. I came back and it was pretty much done. They were pretty good. They were honest and the house is still leveled. I had it look into by structural engineer guy and he wanted to peer the whole house. He was charging $27000. These people came out and they were kind of more or less told me the part that I really need to do the work on. I didn't need to do the whole house because only the corner was sinking. I took the report from the structural engineer to Spartan Foundation. They were very reasonable. A couple other companies quoted me $15000 and $16000. The only problem was that one of the guys who were digging accidentally cut off my water line. They fixed it right away. The guy fired the guy who did it. They were here when they told me they would be here. Then we also ran into rainy weather. The whole work took a couple of weeks, but there were rains and stuff like that. Then they replanted the grass. The guy knew what he was doing. They worked hard and I didn't see them sitting around. I was happy with them. I have a warranty with them and it stays with the house, so if I have a problem then I can call them.

I thought I had cracks on the outside and major cracks on the inside. He repaired the cracks on the outside and explained that on the inside, I just needed drywall repair. He was very professional, competent, and honest. I would do business with them again in a heart beat.

Spartan Foundation Repair and their team is simply amazing. I am very pleased with their work and enjoyed the entire process with their team. My 1957 Ranch house had major foundation settlement in the garage and "leaning wall" problem along the back of the house. The same wall also had many vertical cracks. Galvin Wilson, the project specialist representative showed up promptly at the agreed upon time. He was patient and kind. Galvin took his time to access the repair required and clearly explained all my options and their pros and cons for each. I had few follow up questions and he provided me his professional opinion. Galvin is easy to talk to and he literally returned phone calls within hours. I felt confident and comfortable after discussed with Galvin about my foundation problems and how to go about addressing them. Galvin also worked very closely with my structure engineer to ensure the materials and methods we planned doing will last forever. After few more meetings with Galvin, we have decided to address all the foundation issues by doing following repair work. - Installation of high carbon steel helical piers to lift the garage foundation. - Crack repair via urethane injection. - Add soil to improve the grading around the house. - Install vertical Wall Restraints to brace the leaning wall. On the day of the work, Galvin and his team were on time and ready to go to work when they said so. Justin McDaniel was the foreman for the projects, him and his crew, Carlos Perez did great job installing the piers around the garage foundation and lifted the garage back up to the level the best they could. They also installed 10 beams form inside of house to brace the leaning wall the same week and regraded a big portion of back yard with additional soil to ensure the water drain away from the house. Later on, Bryan Johnson, came over and did all the crack repair. These guys are just simply the best. All of the workers were friendly, punctual, and professional. They came to do what they said they would do and they clean up the job site before they leave. They were on time and hard working as well as being very good about addressing any questions or concerns I had for them as the project commenced. I cannot be more happy that I picked them to do all the foundation repairs for the house. I will definitely reach out to them for any foundation related needs in the future. During heavy rainstorms, we had water running across our basement floor. After the repairs, the basement has been perfectly dry.

They came and looked at the work that I needed and they informed me that they would not be able do the work as I have a stone basement not concrete. He was very personable and informative. I am looking elswhere.

Came on time. Checked with boss to see how much the cost of a couple of extra feet of repair would be. It was reasonable. There was a wait time for one of the materials to dry and the repairman asked to use the bathroom and was in there for a long time. Then he applied the second material, showed me what was done, and then left.

Provider representative showed up promptly at the agreed upon time. Repair took about an hour. After a moderate rain the next day, there was no sign of water leakage. The explained what he had done and stated that he would return if there was a problem.

I very pleased with their work. They came a day early, after they called us to make sure it was ok to do so, and dug out the holes for the piers. On the day of the work, they were on time and ready to go to work when they said so. I am very pleased with their work, there was a time constraint because of putting in a new driveway and they met it beautifully. Only complaint was that they said they would put down plywood over the grass to keep the backhoe from damaging the lawn. They did not put down the plywood and the lawn around the work area was damaged pretty good. The salesman said they would send me a check for the cost of grass seed, but as of this date, 9-16, I haven't seen it yet. Received the check on 9-23 , am still impressed with them.

I had concerns about a crack in my foundation. Spartan came to the house to inspect the crack. Took one look at it and said you are fine. I appreciated the honesty.

Spartan did an excellent job. They were very respectful of our neighbors property, which they had to walk across in order to get to our site. Their analysis of the job aligned with what our independent foundation engineer had told us. They were on time and hard working as well as being very good about addressing any questions or concerns I had for them as the project commenced. Foundation repair is stressful and expensive, but if you have to do it, I highly recommend Spartan Foundation Repair for their knowledge and professionalism. Once the misunderstanding regarding the appointment was resolved, it went fine. The rep was knowledgeable and gave us good advice on how to proceed. We would use them again in the future.

We recently had subsequent very heavy rains and so far completely dry, so far so good! They were very quick with follow up calls and scheduling. The tech who came out noticed another crack. It isn't causing problems but he put a little dab of sealant so that I could tell if it moves or changes. That was a very customer friendly and I appreciate his educating me as to what to watch. Additionally, they provide a warranty, so overall I'm very happy with the service and the company.

Contractor was recommended by another Angie's List provider (a plumber). I thought I needed a sump pump to address an issue of water in the basement. Andrew came to the house and listened to the description of my problem. Instead of bidding a sump pump for me he recommended that I have the window wells dug out and replaced. This saved me a considerable amount of money and has taken care of my issue. The workman showed up and spent an afternoon digging in extremely hard clay soil. He replaced the window wells and was even very friendly to my 5 year old son who wanted to watch the whole process. I think they did a great job and were reasonable on the price. I like that they were able to assess my issue and provide a lower cost solution than I had anticipated.

The repair person arrived on time and was friendly and professional. I showed him where the water was coming in and he knew exactly what needed to be done and I told him to do whatever he thought was appropriate to do to repair the crack. Actually it was a fairly simple process. He pumped in some foam that follows and throughly seals the crack. I wish I would of had this done sooner. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing this type of service.

I am getting a refund for the deal because it doesn't apply to what I need done. I had a crack in my floor, which was unrelated to the wall. The technician was completely honest with me telling me that I could caulk it myself and get a refund for the deal. He even called his boss to confirm. I had an 8 am appointment and the technician even called at 7:45 to let me know he was running behind because of traffic. He was only 10 minutes late. I was very happy with their visit!

Project went really well even though there was a lot of snow on the ground when the digging began. Workers were friendly, punctual, and professional. They responded to our questions and assured us everything was moving along just fine. We will definitely use this company again and have already had them out for estimates on other foundation issues we are having.
