 + -1 moreWe contacted Jim when our home warranty company recommended his company to service our AC unit. He came out the same day in 100+ temperatures! He was very professional and knowledgeable about our unit, and I could tell he had dealt with home warranty companies for some time. We were required to pay him $75 for the service call. He was very upfront with what the home warranty company would not cover with an approximate out of pocket that we would be responsible for, determining that our entire unit would need to be replaced. He stayed in contact with us while he serviced what I assume many customers over the next few days.. He came when he said he would be here, and he and his partner very efficiently completed the work in just a couple of hours. We came to know he has been in the industry for some time, so knowing we had a very knowledgeable professional meant the world to us. Thanks Jim!

 + -1 moreTwo men came together. They were ontime. They spent the better part of two days working non-stop. They laid down material to walk on and wore booties because they were hauling a very old, nasty furnace out of the house. They hauled the furnace and old AC away. I am so grateful that I didn't have to spend 2 days worrying about whether or not they would let the dog loose. They were good w/ my 130# German Shepherd, and she liked them. I didn't want to have to put her outside for 2 days. When they were finished, they left and there was no sign that they had been there. I have since used Priced Right for semi-annual checks-ups, and they have been equally competent and clean. BTW, no repairs or attempts to sell services I don't need. www.PricedRightKC.com
Description of Work: I had a 30 year old furnace/air conditioner replaced on a cold weekend. We met initially to get an estimate. I had a total of three estimates. His was by far the lowest, and I generally take the one in the middle. But this time, his genuineness told me to choose his co. We talked about the furnace and I told him I was afraid he was giving me the cheapest, not the best. He told me why the system we chose was equal to some of the well-recognized name brands. Said his company was about value not just price.I had an appt to have it done on a Friday/Saturday. They showed up on time, with booties. They were respectful of my dogs when they were coming in and out. Keep the gate closed, etc. After all the work they did and as tired as they were, they still took time to go over the wall thermostat and programmed it for me. Talked to me about how to insert the filter, etc.I've had this system now for over a year, and have not had so much as a hiccup. I had not had good experiences with the two well-known companies I used before Priced Right. I had a contract with one local company, but they still didn't come when the furnace went on the blink. Told me it would be almost 2 weeks before they could help. The other one was worse. Angie's list only allows comments on companies I have used within 3 years, or I would tell my tale to the world. Sad. Advertising works even though the companies don't have skilled employees.

 + -1 moreReturned call on a Sunday to schedule appointment first thing on Monday morning! Arrived promptly on time and finished within an hour. Pleasant, curteous and professional. Even though this company was referred from a home warranty company, I would definitely recommend them. All service calls are only $60 to anyone.
