Matt and Randy were great to work with. High attention to quality and detail. They took the lead in coordinating with my other contractors that were performing other scopes of work. Will be a great space for years to come. The project took longer than originally planned, but the scope was large and I would gladly trade off the longer schedule for the quality of final product that we received.

Outlook did an excellent job. They sent out two guys that worked for a week reconstructing the walls. It was like a jigsaw puzzle to put the wall back together. These guys did a fantastic job and really knew how to build rock walls. I would highly recommend Outlook and would use them in the future. My rock walls now look great!

Matt was extremely helpful in providing options and pricing on what we were looking at doing. We had two other contractors doing work at the same time that needed to be coordinated, and I was very pleased with the level of communication. The crews did a high quality job and I definitely would use them again.

matt was professional throughout the entire process. he met me when and where he said he would. he took my ideas and correctly tweaked the plan based on his expertise. matt set up the aproximate date and time the project would be done depending on the weather. as luck would have it, the weather cooperated and the project was finished as scheduled. the patio looks great. everyone who sees it for the first time raves about how it looks. i could not imagine another company doing a better job.

We were renovating a 39 year-old home that had an aggregate patio which was sloping toward the house. Several contractors told us we needed to tear out the old but Matt suggested the existing patio could be covered with brick pavers and the slope could be corrected during installation. He searched the city for reclaimed brick since that was the look I wanted. He started the job on time and his team could not have been more professional. We had cranky neighbors and the guys went above and beyond to keep everyone happy. The finished product is wonderful -- the patio is level and the brick is a beautiful backdrop to our landscaping. I've recommended Matt to several friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. Outlook is the best!

Matt and his team are very professional and efficient. The old limestone wall was a huge eyesore in the neighborhood. I quoted 3 different companies and was very comfortable with Matt; he worked within my budget. We discussed the different options and scheduled a date. Matt's team arrived and they were very friendly, courteous and fast. They removed the limestone and started the grading and added the retaining wall. I waited a year to write the review because retaining walls will shift if not done properly. The retaining wall has not shifted and I (and the neighbors) will enjoy it for years to come. Very pleased with our new patio. They tore out the existing rock and pavers, prepared the site and poured the patio. The crew was prompt and worked quickly, even with the weather not cooperating some days.

Matt Hensley (owner) is a great guy. He came to give a bid when he said he would, & suggested a modification in how he would modify the design of the old walkway, both in the width (he recommended a slightly wider width, & in the curve), both of which made sense (& neither of which would have occurred to us). He also recommended a couple of styles of brick, & brought by some samples for us to look at. Because of his company's busy schedule, it was slightly over 2 months before he could start. He came with a 2-person crew, Mike (foreman) & Brandon. Matt reconfirmed the scope of the job on day one, & it took just short of 2 weeks to complete. Matt stopped by a couple of times during the job to confirm its progress. Mike did an excellent job. He & Brandon showed up each morning & reconfirmed with us on a regular basis how we thought the job was going. Everything was handled in a very professional manner. The quality of the work was superb. I would not hesitate to recommend Outlook to prospective homeowners.

The overall experience was great! I had soil erosion problems in the backyard. Outlook removed dirt and rocks from a makeshift wall. They installed a new wall with uniform landscape pavers. The job took a few days and the workers were very professional and did a thorough job with clean-up. I'm very happy with the result and would highly recommend this company.

It went very well. The entire experience was very positive. Matt Hensley was great to work with. He was prompt with his estimate after we met to discuss the project. The two workers who did the repair work were very diligent in their work, and very friendly. The work took several weeks because of the size of the driveway, but they did the work in sections, so we could always use at least one entrance to the driveway. They left everything very neat at the end of each day.

We met with Matt Hensley in late June 2015 and he sent us an estimate the next day. The proposal was very reasonable in cost and we signed the proposal and had the work scheduled. Matt told us it would probably start sometime in mid-August and that is approximately when the job was started. The two main employees that did the work were Randy and Dustin. They were very polite and were willing to answer any questions we had during the construction. The work they did was excellent. The project actually came out looking better than we had imagined. It took about two weeks to complete the project. We would definitely recommend the company to anyone looking for similar work to be done.

Matt and his crew were wonderful to work with. They showed up when scheduled, provided quality workmanship and cleaned up the area when finished. Matt provided constant updates by phone and email.

GREAT! Yard looks awesome. It went from a completely unusable hillside to a flat space that we can now utilize and mow with ease. Our neighbors were equally impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. We had to use the neighbors yard for access to our back yard. When job was complete, they commented on how well they cleaned up after themselves, and how nice the workers were.

My wife and I just do not have enough adjectives to express how impressed we were at the quality workmanship and professional manner in which our project was handled. From the time we had our first contact with Matt until the project being completed, we had a first class experience. First of all the price of the project was much less than we expected. All phone call and emails were promptly returned and we were always kept informed of what was going on. The curtesy of the crew should be especially noted. Randy, our foreman, always communicated with us and made sure we were happy with the work being done and was always open to answering questions. All of the men that worked on the project showed the upmost respect for our property while they were on site. The skill and craftsmanship were top notch. It is rare in this day and age to run across a company of the quality as Outlook Hardscape. We have already planned to have them back early next year to make further improvements to our outdoor spaces.

Very good work. They had to move a section of fence and work around an existing flower garden. Preserved as much as they could and did a very nice job. They significantly improved the appearance of our back yard.

They came out and started on the sidewalk and realized they needed additional small filler pavers to they had to stop and it was a couple days before they were able to come back and finish. Not a huge deal since we don't often use the front walk. Overall the job went well and it looks great.

We needed help repairing an existing paver sidewalk/pathway that transversed from the front yard through to the back. It has a curved shape and 5 terraced steps built in. Over the years, the lower part especially had started to fall apart. Outlook Hardscape completely rebuilt the entire sidewalk. All pavers had to be removed and relaid. The lower half of the walkway was changed to decrease the slope and create more level areas between the steps. The base for the pavers was improved as well. They changed the design slightly to create more stability for the walkway. It was basically like starting over except you had to fix somebody else's mess. They did a great job and even came back a year later to touch up an area of concern without charge. I would highly recommend this company.

Matt Hensley's crew did a great job building a small landscape wall at the front of our house. Matt was easy to work with, had lots of very good Angie's List reviews and gave a fair price. For our small job, Mike and Randy built gravel base, then built a 16" landscape wall with a "Trap Cap" on top of the wall. They were good workers and very friendly. I would very much recommend Outlook, Inc!

I called Matt in late June, and he was very punctual in his initial visit. He was also prompt in getting back to me on the estimate. I thought his bid was quite reasonable, and so decided to go with Outlook, Inc. after getting bids from a few others. We agreed on the scope of work, and since I was not in any hurry to get the work done, it wasn't until August before they were able to schedule me for the job. Matt came out to get a sample of the paver stones from my existing wall, and the guys came to rip out my two yews. I was a little worried about marring my lawn, but they did such a good job, you could 't even tell they had been there. They brought me a sample of the color of paver stone they thought I wanted, and once I ok'd this, they started on the project the next day. I must admit, they were early risers, as they were here most days at 7:30 AM! They were very easy to work with and were very patient with me while I decided if I liked the end product. At first it didn't turn out quite as I had imagined, but I ended up loving their work , and get loads of compliments from my neighbors! I will probably hire them again for my back yard next year .

We are thrilled with our new patio and the pavers under our gate. Just as importantly, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Matt, Mike, and Randy. They were all incredibly professional from start to finish. Even though we called him in the middle of his busiest season, Matt responded promptly to our request for a project proposal. He came out, listened to our ideas--and to our concerns--and gave us a few things to consider as we were finalizing the plans for our new patio. Although he wasn't able to start right away, he stayed in contact, so we were able to plan accordingly, and he was always prompt to respond when I called with a question prior to starting the project. From the beginning, Matt was very upfront about what we could expect--good and bad--and was very conscientious about communicating throughout the process, so there were no surprises. For example, he didn't sugarcoat the fact that there would be some damage to our yard during the process of tearing out the old patio and bringing in the materials for the new one. Even though our yard needs some attention now that the project is complete, I feel like all three men tried their best to cause the least amount of work for us as possible. From start to finish, they all treated our property as if it was their own. Our project was not easy. For starters, the columns supporting the screened-in porch and the deck above the patio created narrow spaces in which the guys had to work. Those narrow spaces made extracting the concrete from under the old patio--which in places was up to 15 inches thick--very time consuming and tedious. Second, the original concrete supports under the columns weren't poured low enough to match the surface of the new patio (which needed to be lower than the original patio to create a proper drop from the floor of the basement), so the guys had to get creative while making sure not to damage the structural integrity of the supports. And finally, we selected a little-used Pavestone that the crew had never installed before. Our choice meant Mike and Randy had to take extra time and care to master the byzantine placement while also distributing the various shades of the stones throughout the patio in a natural pattern. And they did. Beautifully. It's all absolutely gorgeous...and functional...and properly installed, so we shouldn't have any more problems with our patio. We are thrilled. I can't thank Matt, Mike, and Randy enough for giving us a beautiful patio and for all the little extras, like hauling the dirt from the patio project up to the front of the house to fill in a water feature we were removing and for building up a base for the new fountain in the back. They were always willing to answer questions and were a joy to have working at our home. Outlook Hardscapes deserves every single great review they have on Angie's List!

They did a great job. Work crew was responsive and friendly. Matt fixe several problems that occurred during the job. They minimized any damage to our garden and cleaned up the job site every day after work.

I cannot say enough about Matt and his team. I had put so many phone calls in to so many different companies and only 2 of them called me back. Matt was one of them. His team did a superior job in repairing the patio deck around the pool and rebuilding the retaining wall. Everything was put back just as it used to be. They were very professional, courteous and on time every day. Outlook is a very classy and without a doubt reputable company. The customer service is outstanding. I will use Outlook again. Jennie C.
