Description of Work: We could not be happier. They came in, did the installation, cleaned up and were finished in 2-3 hours. The installer was very professional and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Thanks to Angie's List for making this deal available to us.

Description of Work: I had them do an annual check of our furnace. During the check-up, they "discovered" cracks in the heat exchanger and condemned my furnace - requiring that I need to replace it. They were able to provide quotes on the spot and to schedule installation. I think they created this situation, in order to generate a new furnace sale. The technician showed me the "cracks" and they looked like scratches in the black build-up on the inside of the heat exchanger. I trusted them that these were really cracks. Now I am not sure. When the furnace was replaced, the technician pointed out that the heat exchanger was in excellent condition. Although we could not see the lower area, it was unlikely that any cracks were present. That is why I think they created the appearance of a crack to sell me a new furnace. |I was able to have another company put in a better grade new furnace at a cost that was lower by over $1500. They provided me with a loaner furnace until the new one was available and did an excellent job with the new installation. |Because of the inflated prices and the likelihood of fraud, I would not trust MVP to do any work in my house. I did not rate them an F, because I am not certain they made up the crack story.

Description of Work: Service man came and installed humidifier on our furnace, and gave us instructions on how to use it. He told us that we should really have a bigger one due to the size of our home, but when we said we didn't want to pay anymore than what we had already paid, he didn't push further. We enjoyed dealing with him; he was friendly, professional, helpful, and on time!

Description of Work: We had two problems with lighting. They repaired the outside lighting and it works well. The problem with inside lighting was only partially addressed. The electrician diagnosed the the problem regarding a cannister light in the ceiling. He could not immediately replace the defective light and promised to see what they had in stock and contact me. We have never heard back from him, so in mid December I called the office and explained the problem. The woman answering the phone stated she would have the electrician call me immediatally. Have never heard back as of January 12, 2015.
