We had two lights with switches wired incorrectly, these were lights controlled by two switches, one switch on each light did not work. We also had an outside light without a switch in the house, we had this light rewired to an existing unused switch in the house. All service was prompt and efficient, the owner handled two of the three issues while at the house to quote the job. A technician came back later to do the rewiring of the outside light, the technician was punctual, professional and courteous.

I couldnt have been more happy! The technician never seemed "put-out" or "rushed" and didnt carry an "attitude". He wore booty feet protectors, was very clean, and also cleaned up the mess that was made while the installation took place. I did not have to lift a finger after he left. He asked how my day was, and seemed genuinely interested, I will definitely be referring MVP Electric to all of my friends that have HVAC problems now as well as Electrical. Thanks MVP!

Great, as usual. Chip or one of his employees is on time and if they are delayed for some reason, they call to let you know ahead of time. I have been using MVP Electric and the owner, Chip, for almost 5 years now. Chip always gives me a quote and sticks to it...unless I request additional work, which is usually the case. :-)

This was the best experience I've had with a contractor. Scott showed up when he was scheduled, provided an estimate and honest feedback/advice rgd this project and future projects, and set a time for the work to be done. He came back a week later, on time again, and performed the work efficiently and professionally. He was courteous, pleasant, punctual, and did great work. In short, MVP exceeded my expectations. I'd certainly recommend them to friends/family and I'll definitely call them on my next project.

I called MVP to have a circuit breaker evaluated. The breaker was continually tripping off. Chip (owner) came out the next day to check it out. He evaluated two outside lights that could have been the source of the problem since the breaker would only trip during rainy periods. He then evaluated the way my service panel had been wired during an upgrade. The current set up was less than ideal since the outside lights, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living room were on the same circuit. He gave me an instant estimate to put the rooms on a separate circuit, install a different type of breaker for the outside lights, and install a crawl space light. He had the work done in just a few hours, including a run to get supplies. He also gave me estimates for adding additional recessed lighting in 2 rooms and some additional outlets and fan box in another room. A few days later he emailed me a quote for landscaping lights that I also wanted. My experience with MVP was much better than my experience with the company that did the wiring upgrades when I bought my house. Chip wore shoe covers in the house and cleaned up any mess he made. Best of all, his work fixed our problem! We have not any issues with the breaker tripping during the rain. I plan on using MVP for all my electrical needs as I continue to remodel my home.

They were courteous and professional. We didn?t use them because their bid was way too high for us. I was shocked about the amount. I don?t recall the price, but we were talking in the neighborhood of $1500 for 4 light fixtures and 1 plug-in socket. I would not use them in the future. While they surely seemed to do some home owner kind of things, they seemed to be more geared towards large-scale projects or doing perhaps a whole house or something like that. Their cost was more in line with what I would call an industrial project.

MVP Electric was the best choice. Working on a 1929 house is not for everyone; Chip did not bat an eye from the first moment he arrived. We had him over several times as the scope of our remodel expanded (and dragged on for reasons that did not involve electric). Chip confirmed appointments and was always on time. He provided excellent advice and exuded professionalism and skill. I trusted him completely in my house. The range pigtail and ceiling fan were quickly dispatched in their respective visits. (I am the one who stretched this out across several appointments.) When Chip came to work on rewiring and attaching the new switchplates, he gently informed me that I had purchased the wrong type for a kitchen! I had ordered them online from a nationally known lighting supplier--but that had been almost six months prior (the kitchen remodel took a long time to come together!) and I was beyond the no-questions-asked return period. The plates were expensive so I was bummed. Chip offered to call the supplier on my behalf to ask if I could return all the plates and swap for GFI plates (which are what code in my area requires). Long story short ... the supplier accepted the return and sent out new plates and Chip came over AGAIN (at my convenience) and finished up the job. He helped take a tragic moment and make it into a magic moment. We could not be happier with the service provided by Chip and by MVP Electric. I will go to him for all my electric needs.

"Handy" friends were not able to determine why some electrical switches were working in a bedroom and others were. Chip diagnosed the problem and performed the work the same day. I will definitely call on him in the future for other electrical projects.

The experience was very refreshing. My wife and I actually met with the owner of the company after we called for an estimate and they performed the work exactly as he said they would. Our needs required more than just a quick service call. Each day, the electrician was on time and very knowledgeable about his trade. I would definitely use MVP Electric in the future and feel very comfortable recommending their services.

The employee was quite professional from dress to attitude. He met me at the door with a smile and a greeting and seemed happy to accomdate me and answer any questions i had. I did not bother him so that he could get his job done in a timely fashion. He had all necessary tools on his truck in order to complete the job. I have had other contractors have to leave to get parts and then i get charged for that. But, he had everything. At the end of the service, he left shook my hand and thanked me for the opportunity to service my home. (He even wore protector booties to not drag in mud on my floor)

Very professional employees who efficiently completed the work and cleaned up after themselves!
