I would grade them with a C as far as the service goes. I received an email and then spoke with someone from the office. I was told they would need to get the electrical company involved and that they would take care of it. This was since July 3 and I hadn’t received any communication since then SO I called for follow up. I am waiting on them. The work still hasn’t been completed. C

Technician arrived right on time (I had the first appointment of the day @ 8:00 am) and was very personable and friendly. He was very good to show me exactly what he found and explained what needed to be done and why. Once the cover was removed, he showed me the excess amount of grass clinging to the unit. The company I had used in the past had not been cleaning it properly. He took care of getting it cleaned. He also discovered it was very low on coolant/Freon. My unit is pretty old - he sat down with me and gave me all my options, so I could make my own decision. I decided for the "Band-Aid" option and had him only charge the unit with coolant. I also purchased an annual maintenance plan which then gave me a discount off the price of the coolant. There was no pressure or big sales pitch, which I really appreciated. He was finished by 11:00 am.

My experience with him was OK. The person who did the work was very nice. The delay was in him coming back to fix the fan. I think there was a mix up in who was supposed to get the part, but it worked out fine.

Both the A/C technician and electrician were wonderful. They performed their duties as explained and cleaned-up prior to leaving. I converted the Angies List Big Deal into their $144 package (annual A/C & Heat tune-up as well as 15% off electrical work). Look forward to using MVP in the future.

The MVP guys arrived on time. They informed me that because of the placement of my TV hook ups, it would,cost more than I initially had paid for the deal due to it not being a simple flat mount. I paid the extra cost for the mounting bracket. The guys were informative and friendly and knew what they were doing. The TV looks great above the fireplace. The guys fed the wires through a space in the mantle, and then covered to wires with a cord cover I had in hand. Looks great and everything works.

We purchased a deal from AL for $225 worth of services. The gentleman from MVP was very nice and tolerant of my children wanting to watch everything he did. He was dressed neatly in a company uniform. He seemed to know what he was doing. He was able to complete service on the date he arrived to give estimate. My only complaints that caused me to lower the score on price and professionalism was that we were charged a $64 service fee in addition to the work provided. I felt that this should have been disclosed prior to purchasing the deal. Many companies give free estimates so I would have looked elsewhere if I'd known I would be charged for him to come to my home. Also, my husband did not like the option he had on the truck for the outlet so he went to Home Depot and purchased something different for him to use. We were not given any type of credit for not using their supplies. If after checking around, I found their prices were competitive, then yes, I would use them again. FYI, some price quotes for additional services which we did not use were: $900 to INSTALL 4 new can lights in dining room, $240 to REPLACE 2 existing ceiling fans with one's purchased by us, $417 to INSTALL new ceiling fan (purchased by us) and INSTALL new switch for it, $290 to remove hanging light and replace with new ceiling fan and INSTALL support bracket.

Unbelievable experience. The add said $98 for $225 electrical services and includes installing a new ceiling fan. When the technician arrived with a "helper" he told me it would cost approx $415 to install the fan including cost to rent ladder for my tall ceiling. (to replace old fan with new fan). The helper was great, he went straight to work. I agreed to pay price for ladder. When I asked to see price list he showed me 2 prices, one to install fan at about $115 and one to install light kit on fan at about $119. He added those together to give me cost to install my fan with light. He mentioned something about a "loss". I told him it was his deal not mine. I told him to leave. I was called by the manager but he did not offer to provide service as stated so the job is not done.

MVP sent an appointment reminder email the day before letting me know the tech would call before his arrival, which I thought was very nice. Antonio called, as promised, to let me know he was on the way. He was very professional and I appreciate the detailed inspection report that I was given.

Job done in a timely manner and the tech cleaned up.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. They were just really friendly and I felt like they didn't try to oversell me or anything. They offered other things and I told them I'd think about it and they didn't push me on it so I appreciated that.

I bought a $99 Big Deal wall-mount install for a TV. I knew it would be more b/c I wanted the cords all hidden. They explained everything upfront. During the install everything was explained and the electrician was very professional. While they were there I asked for an estimate on another concern. They explained to me very carefully what would need to be done. The cost of that job was more than I expected, so I will need to save a little longer for that one! TV installation was GREAT!

Everything went great! Work was performed promptly and professionally. I received a bio on the technician (with his picture) ahead of time which was very cool. He was friendly, patient and courteous and answered all my questions. I am completely satisfied.

Appointment was for 8 am, but he arrived at about 8:20; however he called beforehand to say when he'd be there, so this was not a problem for me. I went through the house with him discussing various electrical issues. He was friendly, informative, and did not try to sell me on services I might not really need. He gave me quotes on various electrical projects, and I settled on the two items mentioned above. He left to get the T12 ballast from his supplier and was gone for a fair amount of time. Once back he installed the ballast in about half an hour or less, also securing the light fixture better in the process. He swapped out the light switch in the bathroom in about 10 minutes using a switch that I supplied . Overall the service went well, and my main reason for rating them at a B overall was that I thought their prices were high. I had an Angie's List coupon for "$225 of work for $98" or the price would have been much higher. I will acknowledge that he assured me that the quoted prices were firm, and they would not jack up the prices if the job took longer than expected. But let me mention the main objection I had. The quoted price for swapping out the light switch was $86.62. This is for 10 minutes of work using parts supplied by me and on a job that was very unlikely to be much more complicated than expected. I could understand this perhaps if it was the only job I had him do and he had to factor in some trip charge, but he also was doing a job quoted before the discount as $236.32. I also verified that this was their standard charge for this job. I would consider using them again for complex jobs as he seemed very professional. But for very simple jobs you're probably going to pay a lot more than needed or at least get several bids before you decide to use them to replace a switch or outlet so you know if you're paying more.

Wonderful! cant say anything negative. Im just so tickled with my outside light the most. Don't know why we waited so long to have it done. Arrived as scheduled, gave me a written estimate, did his job and cleaned up after himself! What else could you ask for.

They came out and we had a lot of projects for them to do. It was actually more than the Big Deal, but we up-paid a little bit on it.

This turned into a service call. He had to install a new relay to get it running.

It was excellent! They were very kind, personable, respectful and easy to work with. They were great at answering questions and always were timely and efficient in their responses to my concerns. They even provided me with a portable a/c unit to keep the house cool while they worked on my system. I will not hesitate to hire them again in the future because of the fabulous customer service and quality of work they provided.

This was the BEST electrician I have ever seen. In my 67 years I've hired many companies to do work for me. MVP electric, represented by Scott Sekino, is by far the best experience I have ever had. I will call MVP when work needs to be done thats under their umbrella. However, I will insist that Scott Sekino be the electrician or he will be in charge of the job. Excellent company, and EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYEE / SCOTT SEKINO!

Compnay checked the basement unit and said things were good. The person went outside in the RAIN with an umbrella and said that I needed a part and he could not perform the job because of this. Of course, I should had known better being a woman utilzing this type of service this is what they probably tell 90% of female customers. I told the person NO, that I will get a 2nd opinon and OF COURSE, I DID NOT need the part only a good cleaning which is NOT what they did,

I had the 8 AM guaranteed time. He was 30 minutes late due to traffic but they did call to tell me he was running late. After he ran the checks on the condenser unit, I went back to the garage. It was taking him a long time so I went back to the see why. He was texting. When he pulled the old air filter out of the air handler, he started to open the package on the new filter I had bought from Lowes. I said that I thought the $49 tune-up included a new filter. He said it does but he didn't have one in my size. He offered to go buy a cheap one to put in. I wasn't expecting this to take two hours and I needed to get to work so I said no. He took a picture of my air handler with his phone. He said he would email a receipt to me along with an estimate for some additional work. I never received the email. I had asked about their electrical work so he did check an outlet that I was having trouble with and told me that the I didn't have a neutral on it. The overall air conditioning check up seemed to be adequate.

I had purchased a big deal and they came out within a week. They had done some work for us earlier.

The technician, Andy, was friendly and addressed my concerns. He was knowledgable about service needs. The only concern I have is that he used WD-40 to lubricate my outdoor fan motor. He indicated that this was acceptable, however, I think a motor oil designed for this purpose would be better and that has been what was used in the past. He may have been limited by what the company supplies and possibly what he did was ok. I am particular about details.

The promptness on acknowledging the purchase and scheduling the work could not have been better. Within a few hours of submitting my payment, the company called. Unfortunately, the original appointment had to be rescheduled, but that did not present any real problems. I was more than happy to reschedule. On the day of the second appointment, the technician called to find out if he could come early, which suited my schedule nicely. I especially appreciated receiving an email a few days before the appointment that contained the technician's contact information and picture. The technician was professional and got right to work. He didn't seem to be in a hurry, nor did he waste any time. I didn't assign an "A" because of a couple of reasons. It bothered me that while the technician was poking a screwdriver in the panel box to, I think, push back some of the wires, it sparked and gave the gentleman a jolt. He couldn't find any gouge in any of the wires, but wrapped electrical tape around one of the wires anyway. I guess I should have asked more questions, but I wasn't sure what to think, let alone know what to ask. And the special was to include inspection and cleaning of the fuse box. The technician said it looked like it was in good shape. Again, I'm not sure what the "inspection" was supposed to cover. Other than that episode, the installation seemed to go smoothly. The other thing that bothered could be just a matter of my not knowing how much a surge protector costs, but the item and installation seemed to be pretty straightforward so I'm not sure why the cost was so high. At least, it seemed high to me. I know my comments appear to be pretty negative and yet the grade pretty high. I attribute a lot of that to my lack of knowledge on these matters and I didn't ask enough questions. I will seriously consider using this company in the future.

Very fast service, professional and reasonably priced. He presented all my options and then we chose the one that worked the best. I would recommend for anyone needing electrical service of any type.
