MVP Electric, Heating & Cooling

I was not impressed with them. The service guy was friendly and thorough but I thought the deal would cover the service call and it ended up costing me way more money. They charged me a ridiculous amount of top of the MVP deal. The ceiling was not high and they ended up charging me $200 more. They ended up saying they would go around to all the outlets and tell me if everything was okay. I didn't let him do that because all he was going to do was try to get more money out of me. I will never buy an MVP deal again from Angie's List.

It went pretty well. This is the 2nd time I used and the 1st time was a very good experience because otherwise there will be no 2nd time. They tested everything and make sure everything is looking properly and they gave me some suggestions for improvements but they are not pushing anything. I like what they did and how they handled it. I would use them again. They actually they had to come back because the 1st time, the furnace was not firing up and the technician checked the furnace and told me what he thought would be the problem and gave me a price to fix things out. It was just a part and the price he gave me was a bit steep I’d say so I told him that I would buy the part online and he said it’s okay. After that’s done, I called them again and send another technician to complete what was left the 1st time and didn’t charge me any extra. They are really good. They are very punctual. The price is high but for the service I got, it’s very reasonable.

I was very pleased with their work. They were very professional and they let me know when they were coming. They called me when they got here and they did what I wanted them to do. They did a good job, but they have a set price for everything they do and I thought their prices were high.

They've been fine. They were very nice. I have a coupon that I will use with them next month. I was satisfied with their services. I just like the people. I've dealt with them before and I've had good service with them. Everything about them is totally satisfactory, I have no complaints.

It turned out extraordinary and I will definitely hire him again. He was extremely helpful and the home inspector passed the stuff that he did. He found stuff that I did not even now about. He was prompt, helpful and efficient. He even fixed my computer. He explained everything as he was working. I did not feel uncomfortable leaving him in the house alone. I was very pleased with them and I would recommend them. He did not leave a mess.

I needed a chandelier removed and a new one installed in its place. I bought one of the Angies List deals that cost $49 for an electrical service call and $125 of electrical services. When I bought the deal I thought that $125 ought to cover the job but the electrician said the 1/2 hour job was $147, so less the Angie's list deal supposedly worth $125, I owed an additional $23.00. I thought $147 for the job of installing the light was excessive. The quality of the installation was fine. Before the electrician started the job he spent ta considerable amount of time looking at the wiring in the through out the house pointing out things that should be changed or corrected and writing up estimates. He spent more time writing up estimates for proposed jobs than he did actually installing the light. While he was at it, I asked him for some estimates of some future jobs I was thinking about. I would probably use him again.

Team was prompt and installed the generator and automatic cutover switch with no problem. Had to return later for a defective part in the gas hookup, but took care of the problem promptly.

Purchased discount coupon from Angie's list. After safety check, found $2000 worth of work which should be done. Elected to do about half. I have an old house and had the entire family room, part of dining room and kitchen and garage on one ungrounded fuse. Todd separated these into three fuses and grounded all of them. Installed overhead kitchen light. He worked all day ( 8 hours).cleaned up and did repairs.

One Sunday afternoon during the summer I had a freaky electrical thing happen and studied the reviews on Angie's List for an electrical company. I called MVP to see if the situation was dangerous or if I could wait until the next day. I was impressed with the response from both the woman on the phone and then the technician who called me back. It all turned out to be a really embarrassing, stupid mistake on my part. When someone called me again to say they'd done further checking and thought they'd better come that day I had to admit what had happened. It really was pretty funny and I felt they were laughing WITH me and not at me and they were very nice. I apologized for taking their time and told them I really appreciated their help. I liked the way they'd acted and decided when I DID need electrical work that I would be sure to give them a try. I tell you this, because it was the reason I did hire them a few months later when I saw the Deal for an electrical panel swap out. I'd been thinking about doing it because my panel was 50 yrs old and when I saw the name of the company and the price I immediately purchased it. I received a call promptly but told them it was going to be a few weeks before I could do it. When I was ready they came within a few days. He was here when expected and checked to see what he would need. I asked him point-blank if he thought I really needed to do it. He thought about it and without any drama or scare tactics explained why it was probably a good idea for 2 or 3 reasons. He said that my old panel was smaller and had multiple wires on various circuits (not sure I'm saying this correctly) and that was why my microwave kept causing trouble, ( a problem I'd asked him about.) He felt strongly that the new panel would correct that. I liked the way he hadn't tried to push, but had given me good reasons. He was gone for a while to get parts but then worked steadily. At some point he explained that normally he would have been but that an exterior cable had disintegrated and he'd had to replace that. He was busy at work but listened/carefully answered any questions that I asked. I've waited to review to be sure everything was satisfactory. I've had no more problems with my lights going out and am very pleased. I will definitely call them the next time I have a problem

The office called promptly to schedule. They were so nice and able to schedule quickly. They asked questions ahead so they knew what supplies to bring. The technician was clean, polite and friendly. He went right to work and did just what was asked. Everything was left nice and tidy and works great. Wonderful folks to work with!

It was a wonderful. They got the job done in one day. The electrician worked about 10 hours that day. They sent one guy out to do the job. The scheduling was great.

He checked out our A/C system and said it was fine. It seemed to go smoothly.

I use them extensively for about 5 years now. They listen to what I want done since I am interested in energy conservation. They gave me a variety of options to choose from and they are very helpful. They do really great work and I feel their price is competitive with others.

They were very good. I’ve used them several times. We had a big problem with our air conditioner, the drum and the blower went out, and they worked night and day o resolve the problem. We had to pay more because we had to buy a drum. It was over the summer and they made sure that we had air conditioning. They made sure that we were accommodated and I really appreciated that. When one of them had a cook out to go to, he pulled another man off a job and had him come over here. They were here until like 10 at night. You remember people like that. They came right out when I called them. I recommended them to my family and other people. What I like about them is they did a lot of different things.

Both HVAC servicer and electrician were very knowledgeable and friendly.

The service provider showed up 35 minutes late so I was expecting the worst. He came in, introduced himself and went straight to work. He performed all the tasks I had requested. Once he was done I ask him if my humidifier was working properly so he said he hadn't looked at it so he went back and inspected it. All the worked he performed was good and the furnace is functioning well.

Very professional when setting up the appointment. When the office confirmed the appointment the day prior, they emailed over a picture and a bio of the technician. The technician called about 20 minutes prior to arrival, to indicate he might be 5-10 minutes late, but arrived on time. Install was quick and professional, with all the details for the NEST operation reviewed very clearly to my non-tech savvy husband. I selected this company from a list on the NEST website, so I hadn't done business with them before. We were very satisfied with the service received and would definitely recommend them!

They arrived on time after calling to say they were coming. The crew was professional and courteous. it ww as a cold day so they honored my request to keep the doors closed while working inside.

I was told that I needed a main breaker, and that would be an additional 250.00 but I could have it at value price of 213.00. Wish I had known up front.

My husband said it was the best $ I had spent. We have a large family home that we recently purchased with an Hvac system that didn't seem to be working properly. Thankfully the issue was just our lack of knowledge. The technician gave my husband a long lesson on how to turn on dampers and close dampers for certain ducts to increase or decrease heat and air as needed seasonally. He also advised on the built in humidifier since we have never had one before this address.

.called to confirm the appointment. They arrived on time. THE serviceman checked the Freon ,motor, electrical. He found a bad relay, replaced the part The air conditioner run well , the temp. dropped rapidly. I would use them in the future

It was great! They actually called me shortly after I bought the deal, they arrived on time, and they did very thorough work. We really appreciated that the technician was able to fix the loose wire since it was a fire hazard. What's more is that the technician was very friendly and professional, and he even showed me his identification before entering the house.

The price was more than the deal. They're very professional, did a great job, helpful, and he did really good work.
