Everything was fine and the interaction was good. The service was just fine.

It went perfectly. It was really nice that they were right on time, were very professional, and I appreciated that they provided a picture of the technician they would be sending.

I called MVP Electric to come out and look at my furnace because it wasn't working and they had come out in the Spring to Tune up my A/C and make sure it was working correctly because I had just bought my house the October before. The technician showed up very promptly and on a weekend no less for no extra charge. After about an hour of working on it the technician told me that my igniter and my pressure diff sensor were both bad. He replaced the igniter but could not get the sensor until Monday. Just for the services performed it cost me $580 and the sensor plus labor was going to cost me another $300(roughly). I did some researching online and found am HVAC parts store in Overland Park who had the sensor I needed for only $100. I went and picked it up and installed it myself. This still didn't fix the problem. I started looking at the furnace myself with the help of my father-in-law and we found that the hose that feeds the Pressure Sensor was plugged with something. We cleared the hose and the furnace started working like normal. I was not very happy that I had to spend almost $700 dollars because a hose was plugged. I will definitely not be using MVP in the future

The price I paid was exactly the big deal amount. My experience with them was fine and I don’t have any complaints. So I would use them again. They didn’t leave a mess and it didn’t require any kind of clean up. They were on time and they did what they agreed to do. They didn’t do anything outstanding but they did everything what they said they were going to.

The gentleman who came out was really awesome. He explained things thoroughly. I'm going to be using them for some things down the road.

I did use the big deal from MVP Electric, Heating & Cooling. I was satisfied but just barely. I thought that the person that came out did an okay job but missed something’s that turned up shortly afterward that caused me some problems. It may have been a coincidence but it went bad shortly after they did their inspection. These things can go bad any time so it maybe that the person would not have found it under any circumstances and it just went bad coincidentally. We will never know. I would have felt a lot better had this person found the problem the first time. The pricing was okay. The person seemed pretty professional when they were here.

The service was great. They left the area clean. I would absolutely have them come back out again. The were very prompt. I would tell a friend that if they need their furnace or air worked on i would call them.

The installer, Andy, was very helpful. I mentioned that the furnace was having a hard time heating the 1,000-square-foot home, and he checked it out and offered some suggestions that I will likely put into place. The humidifier installation, far as I can tell, is flawless. And what a huge difference it has made! Especially with the current cold snap, the house feels warmer and the air doesn't crackle with static electricity like it normally would when the furnace is running much of the time. Should've done this years ago. I also want to mention something Andy did that really impressed me: he left my basement better than he found it. When he received a shock from a live wire (I had no idea it was there or that it was live - it's a 105-year-old house and a couple of electrical overhauls missed it), he capped the thing. And he took the time to drive some screws into the handrail from the basement to the first floor to make it stable, something that I had planned to hire someone to do for me. He didn't make a big deal out of either one, just did them. What a great guy! What a great company that encourages this kind of customer service! I'm a customer for life.

The service went great. I paid an additional fee to have them install a new thermostat. I knew going in that I needed that service as well. They also replaced a bad part on the furnace. Two technicians came out and completed the job in about hour and half. They were friendly and wore booties in the house. They were neat in their work and seemed to be knowledgeable about what they were doing. I had no problem at all scheduling the deal. As soon as I completed the deal purchase I received a call 15-20 minutes later to set up an appointment.

I don?t usually write bad reviews, but I feel that today?s experience of getting a bid from this provider deserves one. I scheduled an appointment to do a bid for adding 4 recessed lights in my living room. I choose this company specifically because there was an Angie?s List Coupon for that specific service. We discussed it over the phone and agreed for an electrician to come out to make an accurate estimate for the amount of work and how this Angie?s List Deal/Coupon would apply. The electrician Tod Henehan arrived on time to do the bid. For some reason, he requested to see the upstairs of the house. The lights that I needed to add are in the living room on the first floor. He wanted to see every room on the second floor, which I thought was strange. After that, he wanted to look inside of the electrical panel in the basement, again not sure why. While in the basement, we looked at where the water shut off valve is. That?s also is somehow related to the recessed lights. After seeing every room of my house including everything in the basement, Tod went to his car and spent a long time wring a bid. He comes back and says that the Angie?s List coupon is expired and he can?t offer me the same deal. Expired? We discussed it over the phone. What was the point to come to my house and waste my time if it expired and you can?t do anything about that? In addition, Tod tried to sell me their HVAC service, surge protection and other non-related items. Very strange experience with this provider.

I asked them to put in a mule (electric gate opener). It only worked for a week, which he warned me it would only last that long because I didn't have enough solar power. I bought another solar board and another battery. However, it still is not working and it only worked for a week. The first time he was at the home for 2 days, and the second time, he was at the home for 5 hours. He said he would be at my home at 10am on the first day, but didn't show up until 5pm. He didn't know how to put in a mule; he had to call the manufacturer and take the instructions home to study up. I'm not satisfied. He hasn't followed up with me; he just told me to contact him if I needed anything further as I've got his email.

We had MVP respond on Dec 22 after numerous power outages with interruption to half of our house, including furnace, garage door, kitchen and internet/TV cable reception. KC P&L and AT&T had made several trips and could not find the problem. None of our attached townhomes had problems. With colder weather coming, Kristin, the Customer Service rep understood our desperation - especially when the car would get "caught" in the garage when we needed it. Tod came on Dec 22, quickly assessed bad breaker bars in the main breaker box for our section of the main breaker box for 4 townhomes. He fixed it, and did a safety check of all outlets, at our request, and tapped a valve on our humdifier to make it open and work properly. We were FINALLY back in business for Christmas! We signed up for bi-annual service checks on furnace and air conditioning and Makayla came on Dec 30 with an equally excellent, thorough routine check. We did not price compare because we were so pleased with the promptness and quality of service at such a holiday time. We used the Angie's list coupon of $110.00 paid for $225.00 worth of service that applied to the initial call. They wore shoe protectors each time they came in and were very empathetic and kind.

Jacob took down a light fixture for me and put up 2 others.? He also connected wiring to allow me? to use the light he replaced in the garden window.? The light was originally disconnected from the outlet by my contractor.? He worked quickly and efficiently and he cleaned up after himself!? Nice job.

The representative checked all the electrical and made suggestions for improvement.

The service technician showed up on time after a courtesy call to confirm his arrival time. The layout of my furnace and associated duct work presented a challenge compared to the typical installed but the tech (I can't remember his name) came up with an excellent solution. The work was done quickly, neatly, and no cleanup was required on my part after he left. Most importantly, the system works great as measured before and after the install by multiple hygrometers placed throughout my house. I would definitely hire these guys again.
