Description of Work: I got a complete new system. It works great. The inspector who came out to verify for government price breaks said it's the best installation he's ever seen. A fair and honest company.

Description of Work: They had arranged for an 8am appointment. They called around 8:30 and said something had come up and it would be 10:30. They showed up sometime after that. They took a look and informed us of problems they would be encountering when installing the fan and gave a quote of around $600, then somewhere along the way that grew to $800 (this is after paying the |$179 Angies 'great deal' price). They said they could reduce the price if we agreed to pay for a annual service contract. No thank you. They were at the job until about 7pm. The next day when taking a shower we really didn't notice much difference in the moisture in the bathroom eventhough we went with a fan with much more CFMs than the square footage called for. That might not be their fault, I don't know..all I know is that I feel like I donated $1000 to MVP.

Description of Work: Performed semi annual maintenance check. Arrived on time and worked swiftly. Spoke with me about the condition of the air conditioner and things to watch out for in the future. Great job, as usual.

Description of Work: MVP provided removal of our old attic fan and installed a new one with new switch. Very happy with their service and the attic fan is wonderful and much more powerful than the original.

Description of Work: We initially bought the deal under the impression that we could have our A/C tuned and serviced under a specific timeline (I called before purchasing to confirm appointment time because I knew we needed it ASAP). Once time was confirmed we made the purchase. Not long before our appointment, we received a phone call saying they had to cancel and could not reschedule for almost two more weeks. This was getting into hotter days and we could not use the AC so we ended up having another company out to add coolant before their appointment so we could use it. |Our service tech was very professional and courteous and I would recommend her, but the cost of the services they wanted to add were very high and the rescheduling was frustrating since that is why I bought it in the first place.

Description of Work: I had purchased an Angie's list big deal for a service call and $125 of electrical services. The technician was very personable and MVP sent me a bio of him before the visit. He wore booties while in the house. The items I wanted service on didn't take very long, so he did a whole house inspection. He found several GFIs not working or installed and a malfunction in my 6 smoke detectors. I agreed to have all the work done, which resulted in a total bill of $800, including the cost of the new smoke detectors. Yes, it was probably a sales ploy, but I feel better knowing my electric and smoke detectors are working safely. The company's professionalism and reliability led me to trust them, as well as did the patience and attitude of the technician.

Description of Work: I was selling this house and the buyer's inspection revealed that one electrical circuit was wired backwards. MVP identified the problem and fixed it promptly.

Description of Work: Did Routine Maint. on Air conditioner. Tech seem to do the work O.K Just throught he spent more time than needed to do the job. Did Notice he used his cell phone when he should have been working.

Description of Work: They came out on time, said the problem with our two plugs not working was that the wires had been damaged due to the plugs not being put in correctly and their being old. Ran a new wire from the box. Everything is now working fine.
