Mr. Handyman of NE Johnson County

The technician showed up on time. He worked fast. Quality of the work was good. All service fees were explained before booking the appointment. The hourly rate is expensive, however they except all major credit cards. I will use them again.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and LEFT JOB INCOMPLETE Hired Mr. Handyman to apply self-leveling compound to my living room sub-floor which is concrete. This was needed to apply laminate flooring since the sub-floor had many dips and low spots. The first time out only one person was sent. They mixed one bucket, poured the compound and went back to mixing the next batch. After the floor was about 3/4 done I was notified he had run out of product and was going to Home Depot to purchase more. Meanwhile the floor was setting up. After the floor had dried the next day, I noticed lots of high and low spots between where each bucket was poured and tried getting a hold of Mr.Handyman which was unsuccessful. After leaving bad feedback from an emailed survey, Mr. Handyman sent someone to look at the floor. I was told the first person sent out had never done something like this before and that they would send the "flooring" guy this time. This time two people were sent and the product was poured and squeegeed. This caused the product to dry much quicker and the flooring expert spent all day trying to scrap the high spots down. Once dried the floor was still not flat and I spent the next few weeks trying to get Mr.Handyman to look at the floor. Finally when someone was sent, I explained that the manufacturer requires the floor to be level within 9/16" over 10ft. It was explained to me that it wasn't possible to achieve a flat floor and he demonstrated how a 3/4" block wouldn't fit between a straight edge and the gaps in the floor. He told me just to lay my floor "bud" and that putting furniture over the laminate flooring would solve all my unevenness. Now I am left with a sub-floor that still cannot have laminate flooring laid as it would be against manufacturer recommendations and void the warranty. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE!

Excellent customer service from office staff during the first and two subsequent conversations. I received what turned out to be an accurate cost estimate (range) on the phone based upon my description of the job. The technician was professional in appearance and performance. He arrived exactly during the scheduled time, quickly assessed the problem and work which needed to be done and the quality of workmanship was excellent. I like that the technician was an employee, not a subcontractor. After completing the scheduled job I also asked for an estimate on a second job which I received via email later the same day with the labor and material costs clearly spelled out. I expect to schedule that job within the next month.

Marc and Jamie were very informative and patient. They explained in detail the work they recommended. They completed the jobs as scheduled and as promised. They completed the repairs exactly as they had stated, and corrected the problem to my great satisfaction. I highly recommend them for whatever work you need done.

Did a great job tearing down the old fence & putting up the new fence. The installer, Mark was a professional & a gentleman. Mr. Handyman is a good company for projects you can't or don't want to do yourself.

Mr Handyman had a team of workers, so when an issue arose with my cabinet install and we need an electrician, it was quickly resolved. They were punctual and clean. Cabinets look great and I couldn't be happier with the job they did.

Ron kept me informed of all the different issues involved with the repair project. I will utilize his talents again.

Most over price handyman service I have ever used. I would recommend calling the police as they hold you up without a gun! If you ever use them I really feel sorry for you!

Nice people and pretty professional but brought my shutters back and installed them while very tacky from polyurethane. Said they couldn't be smoothed out anymore with sanding. Do not look much better than before the refinish
