Description of Work: My husband had flushed down a Lysol tablet accidentally which was repeatedly clogging our toilet. Brent was able to break this up and move it through. Toilet woks great now. Brent relit our hot water heater pilot light which has been going out some this year and which I could not get to light this last time despite repeated attempts and previous success. And he did not try to sell me a new water heater. He did give me estimates, but no hard sales job at all. AND Brent spent time diagnosing and finding a hot water-cold water loop that had stumped many a plumber in the past few years! Now we no longer have hot water coming out of our cold faucet in the kitchen! Yeah! You Rock, Brent!

Description of Work: On return from vacation noted water in kitchen & breakfast area. Initially assumed a frozen water pipe. We had turned off the master water valve before leaving on vacation and were surprised by the extend of the water saturation. Lutz responded quickly the next morning and tried to locate the cause of the water leak. After some time of investigating, the plumber could not find any leaks or breaks in the water lines. By process of elimination it was determined that the dishwasher fill valve had failed and allowed the water in the water pipes to flow back into the dishwasher and then out onto the floor. I was not aware of this type of failure and the potential for water damage. The fill valve is a solenoid operated valve that fails to the open position. Such engineering makes no sense, but keeps water removal companies busy. Since we had a plumber in the house I had him replace an older water valve under the sink. That just took about five minutes. We were pleased with Lutz and feel they are an exceptional plumbing company which we would call again if the need arose. Hopefully we will not need a plumber for a long time.

Description of Work: In replacing my tub with a walk-in shower, we could not get the tub out. I called Lutz. The cast iron tub had to be broken to remove.. After removal the drum trap had to be removed and replaced with a 2" ABS plastic trap. The work was done in short order and was completely satisfactory.

Description of Work: The serviceman reseated one toilet, installed a new toilet, fixed the drain in the sink in one of the bathrooms, and replaced the T& P valve on the water heater. I had been told by another plumber that I needed a new water heater, in addition to the valve replacement, but Brent told me that I only needed the valve. The serviceman was great about explaining what he recommended and why. I ended up having him work on all my plumbing problems, instead of only fixing a leak and giving me a bid for a water heater, as I had originally planned.
