Asked if he could fix the very slow draining bath tub drain, showed him the problem. He said he would be right back, needed to get a part. He returned, changed out the drain control and the drain works beautifully now! First time in years!! Thank you so much! The price was reasonable, rapidly changed the part. I was worried that it would be a major job as my husband was a plumber so I had watched him do many things. Again, thank you.

Awesome. The faucet and plunger apparatus is a contractor grade item and the plunger will only come out if the bottom trap is removed. He was able to adjust it so I could remove the plunger without taking everything apart. This will make future clean-out much easier.

It was alright. They were a little overpriced for what they ended up doing. I thought I was going to have a new main line. If I knew that was all he was doing, I could have cut it and it would be done for $30 or $40 in material. They were there when they said they are going to be there. They were very nice when I talked to. I was just kind of shocked at the prices. I would be very hesitant to use them again. If I had the chance but I wasn't at home, and if I had seen what they were going to do then I probably would have stopped the $29.95 and did it myself. The way he was explaining it, I kind of figured it will be a little more expensive.

Brent was very professional and courteous. He answered all of my questions and gave me suggestions for all of my plumbing needs.

The gentleman who did the repair also gave me some great advice on some simple fixes I could do to some other plumbing problems that I had around the house. I appreciated his help and would definitely use this company again.

Brent called to let me know that he would be a little late since he was stuck in traffic on 435, but that said he was only 15 minutes late in coming. He came in and looked at what needed to be done, wrote up a bid and explained best and worst case scenarios with me. As it turned out there was one issue that was not "best case scenario fix", but that to was explained to me before the work started. He kept me informed as to what he was doing and had done. The areas that he worked in were kept clean. This is the second time that we've used Lutz and we will use them again if the need arises.

From the first phone call, which was answered by a human, to when the Brent, the master plumber left I felt I had made the right decision by choosing Lutz Plumbing. The toilet in our 1/2 bath had begun leaking from the tank, but only when the tank water level was low. I initially called a plumber we had used for years. Left a voice mail and never heard back. I then search Angie's List, read the reviews and picked Lutz Plumbing. I was surprised when a human actually answered the phone and put me in touch with their dispatch person. My master plumber arrived, looked at the problem. At my request he gave me an estimate to repair or replace the toilet and I elected for the repair. As he was taking the toilet apart for the repair he noticed a crack in the tank that was just a matter of time before it would become a bigger issue, so we ended up replacing the toilet. I will admit that I had a bit of some sticker shock at the cost of a new toilet. But the cost included the installation and a Warranty. Brent was on time, respectful and clean. I certainly will make Lutz Plumbing my first call with any needs in the future.

They were couteous, friendly, and cheap.

They were flexible with scheduling. He found the leak, applied all of the discounts, and he was very nice. He quickly found the problems and very thorough and solved. He discussed pricing on each step of the way.

We had a severely clogged main drain in a very old house. A previous plumber had snaked the drain, but said that the pipe was broken. Said basement floor would need to be jackhammered and pipe replaced. Gave estimate of $2000. Pipe re-clogged soon after the snaking. Another plumber gave an estimate of $1200 to replace pipe. After the 2nd plumber cancelled several appointments to start work we called Lutz for an estimate. They gave written "best case" and "worst case" estimates, ranging from rootering to tearing up floor and replacing main line. Came back to perform work. Advised pipe was not broken, just had a major grease build-up.. Snaked line, then used hydro-jet to clear completely. Pipes appear to be running smoothly now. We appreciate their honesty and professionalism.

I called them to fix a leak in the shower and he couldn't get the bowl out so they did nothing. They also came out to fix the other faucet, replaced my kitchen faucet and repaired the toilet which was good. Pretty most parts they were really good. They came out one time and really did nothing but the other times that they came out they performed the services very well. They were a little expensive. They were always on time.

He came to my home. I explained the problem and he said he needed to hear it. He flushed the toilet and it didn't happen. I had another bathroom that he looked at and it didn't happen again. Then, I turned on the faucet when we flushed the toilet. And it started happening. He went to the basement and found the problem. When I was in the basement, he showed me the old part. He said whoever put that on before, put in a cheap part. He said he was replacing it with a much better part. I haven't had any problems since. I was somewhat pleased, but he wasn't very forthcoming in explaining the problem. I feel the price to be somewhat high for the work he did.

we had been noticing that hot water was waning, and we knew it was time to replace our 17 yr old water heater. We called Lutz because they worked on Saturdays. Even so we didn't expect them to come out that same day...but they did! In fact Brent arrived within the promised 1 1/2 hr time he had given me over the phone. He had some issues with our very old unit not wanting to drain because of the large amount of calcium sediment, but he managed to figure out how to get it done. After he left, we left for a while and when we got back noticed our water pressure was low. Called Brent who came right away within 20 min and figured out that the valve on our main had broken on the inside of the valve which was causing the problem.. The valve was as old as our home (1951) so it's a wonder it hadn't broken long before. Brent replaced it with a new one ... We offered to pay for at least the part...but he declined saying it had happened when he turned it so felt it was his responsibility. We were more than a little impressed!!!

I called as the plumber did not show up during the specified window and there had been a mix-up with scheduling. They immediately sent someone out. It went well. He checked out our sump pump and gave us a bid for updating to a newer emergency back-up system.

With a one bath house and a clogged toilet I needed help immediately. I contacted Lutz plumbing and it seemed it took Keith about 10 minutes to get here and resolve the problem. Very professional and he even wore cute little booties even though I think his boots were cleaner than my carpet! If anyone needs a plumber give these guys a call.

I thought they were very professional. They were real honest and worked around my schedule.

The service was fine. They did mention ahead of time of the costs but I couldn't get ahold of my son and the water was off and so I agreed to pay. I've had this service done by another provider and it was much cheaper.

Within a few minutes of sending a message through Angie's List I received a call to schedule an appointment. Lutz Plumbing was able to send someone out the same day. I requested that I be called 15-20 minutes prior to the service call so that I could meet the plumber at the house. I was called early in the afternoon with a 20-minute expected arrival time and met Brent at the house. Brent was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable, he examined what needed to be done in order to replace the laundry valves and gave me a firm quote. The area that Brent had to work in around the washer and dryer was very compact and the supply lines were difficult to get to. Brent determined the best approach in within about and 1-1/2 hours he had successfully completed the work. I was very pleased with Brent's work and his professional manner, and his explanation of the work that he was doing. This was a kind of scam that i have seen before; you wait for them to come and you want to get the work done, and they try to get you to agree to a very high estimate. i should not have paid them for the house call. i had the same work done by another man i've used before, and he charged me $240 for the same work that they wanted $600 for.

Very timely service - called ahead and was here in 10 minutes as promised. Was only plumber able to provide service same day! Kevin was very personable and knowledgeable. Will definitely use this company again and refer to others.

I contacted Lutz around noon about the leak and inquired about the possibility of "same day" service. Amber was extremely nice, fully understood my personal predicament and the related need for urgency, and promised to 'work us into' the day's already packed schedule. Sure enough, Brent showed up at our front door at 6:00 pm, identified himself, gave me a business card and immediately slipped on booties upon entering our home. Brent, a Master Plumber, was highly professional, competent and efficient in quickly fixing the leak. He was also extremely personable and in casual conversation, learned that his mom and I had worked at the same local company for many, many years. Brent lifted the toilet, replaced the faulty seal, reset the toilet and had the bathroom completely clean all within 45 minutes of his arrival. He was great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lutz Plumbing for your residential plumbing needs.

Kevin was awesome, very professional, friendly and provided education. He was able to fix the garbage disposal without any issue and replaced my bathroom sink faucet. He left the area very clean, couldn't tell that he was ever here.

I had a sewage backup at my home on Friday night, after cleanup and shutoff of home water for the night, I contacted LUTZ PLUMBING at 8 am Saturday. Their answering service forwarded my information to Kevin Griffin who called me within 10 minutes. One Hour later he was at my door. Kevin listened intently to my issue and got right to work, I was given the opportunity to pull my own toilet (which was actually blocking access to the stack cleanout, and this saved me some money) Kevin ran his pipe auger into my system and ran into a problem....My main line was broken and clearing a clog was not an option. While I was wishing for the best... Kevin calmly explained what would be required to make the necessary repairs. I understood exactly what he was saying (I am a commercial HVAC Technician). Kevin quoted to me the price for the repair and if they were to do the repair, I would be credited back the service fee for Saturday. As the price somewhat surprised me, I felt at ease working with Kevin and his many years of experience. Kevin said while Lutz is not the cheapest, I would feel good knowing the repair was done correctly and done right the first time. Kevin answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. To include utility marking, and excavation. We scheduled the repair/excavation for Monday morning. At 9:30 am Kevin called to say he was en-route and all the utilities had been located and marked. I arrived home to watch/monitor the repair at 10 am. 2 minutes later they arrived with the track-hoe excavator. The operator and assistant were very courteous and professional. They were careful driving through the front yard to avoid unnecessary damage to the lawn. The excavation was about four feet down and the piping was exactly where Kevin said it was. Once the pipe was uncovered it was evident that the pipe had separated from ground settlement, and a nearby Maple tree had its roots drawn to this location compounding the problem. A 18 inch section of roots were inside the pipe and a large root ball had formed in the area. All this was removed with a section of ABS piping. The piping had a bow in it as it had settled additionally due to an inadequate amount of rock/gravel encompassed the pipe. Once the trench was cleaned out, Kevin found the remaining pipe where it exited the foundation was deformed. Kevin was able to remove the deformed pipe enough to make a clean coupled connection. Then Kevin installed new pipe and TEE connection which enabled a external cleanout to be installed. All new piping was installed and my home was reconnected to the city sewer. The excavator operator made trips back to the street to pick up the rock/ gravel aggregate and put around the new piping. This was packed in and around and was a far cry from the original install in 1995. We flushed inside and tested the repair, the trench was backfilled and packed, I was happy with the cleanup of my yard, it was even raked by them. nice touch!. Once the excavation team departed, Kevin ran his Video Camera through the remainder of my system and followed with the auger to remove remaining roots in the piping. My system is now as clean as the day it was installed, and I was able to sleep well that night knowing my problem was solved. Kevin is definitely a great asset to the Lutz Plumbing Team, and, I am happy to say that they have ANOTHER SATISFIED CUSTOMER

The tech came pretty quickly. It was still pretty expensive.

The floor drain backed up on Sunday evening, and we called Lutz Plumbing Monday morning at 8 AM. The dispatcher was helpful and polite. It turned out that one of their plumbers did not yet have a morning appointment, so she was able to send him right away. He arrived within 30 minutes. The plumber diagnosed the problem, narrowing it down to a drain branch upstream of the main sewer line, one that handles just the kitchen sink, the washing machine, and the basement floor drain that was backing up. He cleared the line and verified that everything was draining properly, including all toilets in the house. This is the first time we had used Lutz Plumbing, and we were very pleased. After the application of Angie's List coupons, the price was more than competitive with other drain service calls we have had in the past. (The approximate price listed above was before coupons.) The plumber was competent, polite, and left the area as clean as he found it.
