FRED PFLUMM PLUMBING

Quality of Work: failing to meet expectations. Each of the multiple toilets installed were crooked from surrounding walls, and toilet tanks were uneven/not level from both the front-to-back and side-to-side. Multiple of plumbing fixtures are not caulked/sealed after the install. If there is any concession I can make, the toilets don't leak (that shouldn't be a high bar for a plumber though). The supply line to/from the toilets looks sloppy. Professionalism: front office staff was exceptionally unprofessional and condescending. A very negative experience to deal and interact with. Pricing: outrageous. This company was the approved vendor by the builder, so I expect that was the incentive to use pricing tactics that i think are patently unfair. Conclusion: While I don't doubt the namesake for the company, Fred Pflumm, was a respected plumber and business owner, I believe the current Zarda family owners have caused the issues noted above.

I contacted this provider regarding a certified letter I received in the mail. I asked to have something explained to me. Leslie of Fred Pflumm Plumbing was rude, classless, and completely unprofessional. She hung up on me three times and told me that although the certified mail came from them, she did not have any responsibility to speak to me. When I told her I would be writing a review about our experience she indicated she didn't care because they have enough business anyways.

Company was plumbing subcontractor on my house. From the beginning, every toilet refilled slowly - I thought it was low water pressure. Had one shutoff valve replaced - now refills at a great (normal) rate. Serviceman (from another company) told me it was a defective valve. Now I am looking at replacing all of them at a cost of ~$200 each (I'm guessing $800-$1,000 total). At outset, both contractor and Pflumm were unwilling to acknowledge problem and correct. Would choose other companies to work with - especially in this economy. We'll save our comments on water pressure for later - haven't identified the cause but know that pressure is nowhere near my neighbors.

My water heater was leaking and within 24 hours a technician was at my door. He was there at the time specified and even called me 30 minutes prior with a reminder call!!!! He replaced my water heater (it was 12 years old) quickly and cleaned up after himself. I inquired about the Toto Washlet while he was there. He gave me a fair price and was back in 2 days to install it. Again he was courteous, on time, and cleaned up after himself. He gave me a thorough explanation on its functions. The washlet is by far the most useful product I have in my home! Every single one of my guests is amazed by it and wants one for themselves!!

ARRIVED AT TIME PROMISED AND DID A GREAT JOB.

THE JOB DID NOT TAKE THEM VERY LONG AT ALL. VERY REASONABLY PRICED.

AFTER AGREEING TO DO WORK, THEY DID NOT COME OR CALL. THEY WOULD NOT RETURN CALLS.
