The quality of the windows is very good. Our problem is the damage done to the interior trim of the windows was never repaired. We are disappointed with the follow-up.

On time, clean and organized. On task at all times. Told it would be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Actual time from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Hauled away old windows and cleaned up.

Installer called on Sunday to tell us our window was in the next available day’s time. They were on time. Cleaned and explain, how to clean, remove windows screen, very professional

Installation was all done in less than a full day. The crew was very professional and knew exactly what they had to do. I was apprehensive at first having no idea what the job would look like by the end of the day, but as the first window was finished, I was amazed how it looked like it was the original window but new. The new windows were sealed inside and out, there is no way any air could get in or out the way these windows were done. It is six weeks later and family has not even noticed that there are new windows and a new door in the house, which is exactly the way I wanted the new units to be, just like the old ones. When the crew left, the grounds outside the house was spotless, just like they had never been here. That is a sign of a professional crew, they came in, did their jobs and left without a trace, GREAT! I would recommend this crew of workers from Champion windows to anyone.

Looked at many different windows for replacement. Pella, Anderson, Champion, Alcoa, and a couple of other brands I cannot remember. Champion ended up with the highest bid, even though they were having a "sale". But I really liked the windows, and felt quite comfortable with the salesman. Didn't ever feel like he was pulling the wool over my eyes. Yes, he did pull out all the stops, but I am able to see through the BS. I replaced 5 windows. All the same windows about 35" X 45". 2 windows on the back of my house, 2 on one side, and 1 on the other side. My house had/has original 1951 windows all over the house. Placed my order mid May 2012. They came to measure the next day. Told me it would be 4-5 weeks before installation. 3 1/2 weeks later, I received a call that my windows would be in 2 days later. Scheduled the installation for the next week. The installers arrived right at 8, as scheduled. The 2 installers quickly got to work. But before starting, they asked me to look over the windows for damage. Didn't see any issues, but they were still wrapped. I was amazed at how quickly they had the first window out. They did put up plastic around the insides of the windows, but I think it just hindered their ability to work. They diligently worked all day, without taking even a lunch break. After they had the windows on the back wrapped, I realized my glass block window trim looked ridiculous. I asked them if they would be able to wrap this window as well. After a quick call to Champion, and $70, this window trim was wrapped as well. Best $70 I've ever spent. Would have driven me crazy if I hadn't had it done right away. My windows were finally installed, and they looked fantastic. They showed me how the windows worked, and what problems to keep an eye out for. I haven't had any problems with the actual windows in the year they have been installed. Wanted to wait and give a review after I had the windows for a year. I have had a problem with the caulk they used. It attracts dirt like nobody's business. I could clean the caulk every day. I have spoken to several people about this, and they are supposed to come re-caulk all of the windows. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my windows. They are easy to operate, and so easy to clean. I plan to replace the windows on the front of my house next summer, and will be using Champion again.

My salesman was a little intense for me but I liked what they offered, so I bought. Someone came and measured windows one week later. I was told it would take 4-5 weeks to make the windows and ship them to Kansas City. They installed the windows (vinyl) and wrapped the trim boards around the windows (in aluminum) about a month after I ordered. A very nice family installed the windows and came back the next day to wrap the trim. They did an excellent job and were very professional and friendly. One screen had a hole and two screens were not pulled tight, so I ask them to fix them. It took them 2 1/2 weeks to return and then I told them I was not happy about the wrap on one of the windows. He was very agreeable and said they would fix it the way I wanted. He didn't return for 11 days and then brought the wrong color but he did come the next day and did an excellent job. I am very happy with the way the windows look and how they are working. I hope the guarantee is exactly as I was told. I would suggest them to anyone.

Exceptionally well. The crew of 3 were on time, were very polite, took care of my home and did an excellent job of installing my windows and repairing and replacing all of the wood trim. It was a very good experience!

This experience was so bad, it was almost humiliating. I clearly explained the situation to the Champion reservationist who took my reservation for an estimate. I wanted to replace a single window with a glass block window. She was friendly and scheduling the appointment was painless. They were able to come a few days later. However, when the sales representative arrived, and he saw that the scope of the project was limited to a single window, he was visibly disgusted and made every effort to make me feel like I was wasting his time. He basically ignored me, or gave me rude one-word answers to my questions. He made a very obviously pointless effort to measure the window. He didn't even pretend to be precise, he barely even held the tape measure up to the window. He was just going through the motions so he could say he went through the motions. He spent maybe a total of 1 minute looking at the inside and outside of the window before writing me what I will call a "F***K YOU, DON'T WASTE OUR TIME" quote over almost $1,100 to do a single 2' x 3' window. He then told me that, unless I wanted to replace 6-7 other windows in the house, we weren't worth his time. He said if we were willing to replace more than one window, he could cut that estimate in half. When I told him that wasn't in the plans, he tossed the estimate at me, got up and left. He didn't even make eye contact or shake my hand. Again, it was obvious that he was disgusted to have to waste his time speaking with me about my one-window project. I've never had an experience this poor with a vendor, and I suggest that everyone avoids Champion Window at any cost.

Champion is great. They gave me a quality product at a reasonable price. Their people are very professional and courteous. We will continue to use this company.

The main problem was we got right in an installation team firing 2nd hiering of new install team.

I would consider the company again if they revise their pricing. The salesman, Herb Adams, was professional, organized, knowledgeable, and punctual. It appears that Champion manufactures a high-quality product that they warranty "as long as you own the house". Not quite sure what that means. I was told the warranty is transferable to new owners. My choice to not go with them came down to the price, and not just because they were slightly higher than everyone else. They quoted a flat fee and would not break it down to tell you how much you are paying for the window, labor, operation costs, fuel surcharge, or whatever is included in the price. I just couldn't get passed that, Champion knows how much they charge for a window they just choose not to share it. Why? If you can accept not knowing specifically what you are paying for, then I would recommend them. One of my coworkers told me this morning that they recently had all of their windows and a set of french doors replaced by Champion. My coworker was given a detailed bid, with all the different pricing broken down.

They did not comply with the time frame given for the completion of the project. We felt the project stretched out far too long. Some inaccurate measuring of windows occurred which delayed the completion.

Up front about what could and could not be done. Price was not changed. On time. Came back to fix window frame that another company's employee broke. (no cost)

Lousy windows much smaller than represented 3 of 5 didn't work right. 1 bush broken in installation.

No problems. Crew that did windows were quick, in a day they were done. Very professional. Siding took two days. Crew left some scraps laying around but not too bad.

Arrived on time installed in out day as promise & cleaned up left me instruction & Demon started operation - A big success.

Initially they installed 1window, then 9 windows and just this spring they installed 5 more. The sales guys that come out will work with you to save you money. He recommended low cost alternatives that really saved me money. Instead of installing traditional windows, he recommend picture windows in areas where I don't typically need to open the windows. On one visit the technician noticed a scratch on the window. He told me that wouldn't work and he wanted to order a new window. Eventually they installed a new window that looks perfect. They even gave me a year supply of window cleaner. That was really impressive to say the least! We spent good money on this project but they were very competitive with their rates. I really felt like they were looking out for me. I have recommended them to anyone who is looking for quality windows. I can't say enough about them. I was really impressed that they let me install just one window to see how it would work but still guarantee the price for another 6 months...wow!

This company was very professional. We shopped around to a lot of companies and chose Champion because they had great quality windows. They had two people come and install all the windows in one day. They even taped the windows with plastic so dust would not get in our home. They cleaned up all the mess in the yard when finished. This experience was just perfect. They weren't the cheapest but the quality was by far the best.
