The bid was placed with us the last of May. We then wanted a second bid on only a sidewalk and porch, which they responded immediately. After our decision was made to have C & C do the job, were given a date of the first or second week in August. They started on July 27, and the job was completed on July 30, All work was done in a neat and professional manner. All work was done according to our specifications. We were very happy with the looks of the drive and porch.

Project went great. Color looks great. My wife freaked at the color when it was 1/2 way dry, but the color turned out exactly as Chad said it would.

This was the smoothest project we have ever had done from start to finish. Our old patio was stained, cracked and sinking. The new patio is a beautiful, stamped concrete patio that is just the right color and size. I never thought it would look this good! The owner was kind, courteous and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone!

The owner was great to work with! They got it done in 1 1/2 days and the actual old driveway was mostly gone in an hour!! They were a very professional team, showed up on time, were very pleasant. People in the neighborhood were so impressed, within 24 hours one talked to the contractor and I gave the company's name to another neighbor who thought the driveway looked so nice! I didn't know a driveway could look that good!!

I planned this project a year before it started, removing damaged old trees near drive, measuring the drive and doing research on concrete and stamping. Chad Prater and his crew did a beautiful job. His company strives to make the customer satisfied. Any little extras, such as a conduit pipe placed under the drive for future electrical use or repairing the garage doors for realignment, were provided. He took extra care in keeping an old stone wall on one side of drive from receiving any damage. The project took a month to complete in the early spring, due the the weather and the size of the drive. Chad gave me names of other contractors to do other work on this old house.

This was a big, tough job and there were a few change-ups after the work began that C & C handled not only in stride but also within the estimate. For example, the planned route to remove and pour the patio had to be changed, which necessitated extra time and work. There was also a large section of the driveway base that was unstable, requiring expansion joints not in the plan. Except for the driveway approach, the entire patio and driveway had to be poured by "Georgia buggy." There was very little room along one side of the driveway from which to work but that did not affect the quality of the final product. This was a fall job and there is not one leaf imprint! From the beginning until the last shovel of dirt was spread and tamped, the C & C crew worked well together. It is my belief that had I selected a different contractor, the problems would not have been handled in such a thoughtful, professional, and thorough manner. There were also a couple of extras from the beginning that were included and helped in the decision. Despite the challenges, the job was completed within the original estimate. C & C also took time to instruct me on how to take care of my new driveway, including the use of plastic (snow) shovels.

Contractor gave realistic time estimate from the start. Contractor showed up on time to start work. Contractor and crew were very safety-conscious and performed all work with no injuries. Crew worked very well together and were detail-oriented. Contractor-owner was visible every day of work. Tear out went smoothly on Day 1. Removal of debris occurred on Day 2 and also went smoothly. Also on Day 2, pavement base was prepared and tamped, rebars installed, concrete placed in two slab sections, and sealer/curing agent applied. On Day 3, concrete for apron/sidewalk was placed, sealer/curing agent applied, joints saw-cut, and soil backfilled around edges. Contractor made sure of securing correct town permits for work on Day 1. Town inspector came on Day 2 to approve the apron/sidewalk preparation prior to concrete placement. Contractor was very knowledgeable on the various aspects of concrete placement and care, providing useful recommendations from the time of the bid to the last day on site. Overall, a great looking driveway was achieved.

I contacted Chad and we met to discuss options. He provided a wide range (colors, aggregates, stamping, etc.) but did not pressure me to choose those that would have been atypical in my neighborhood. We arranged a time for the job, but due to cancellations he was able to begin 2 weeks earlier than we expected. The job took a total of two days in late July (> 95 temps), and was completed by Chad with his four-man crew. They backfilled the edges with clean soil and sealed all the concrete before they left. There was minimal debris left behind. The result is very professional - we've received compliments on the work quality from multiple neighbors in the months since the project was completed, as well as reports of the courteous and polite attitude of the crew. Based on this great experience, I have referred several friends to this company in the time since this work was completed. I recommend a call - even if you live slightly outside the service area (mention Angie's List!). We plan to have a fieldstone sidewalk replaced next spring - and this will be the first call I make for an estimate. I doubt I'll need to make a second call....

He was one of the nicest young men I've ever worked with. My neighbors were so impressed with him that two of them used his services as well. I would hire them again in the future.

C & C Concrete took out our old drive and replaced it. They came out and did a great job for the entire area. They put 1/2 inch rebar in every 2 feet for support and 12 big sections to make sure there won't be any cracks in the future. They sealed also it with Toughcoat. All of this was very considerate of them for our cement drive to really last. I didn't have to ask many questions because he was so informative. Their workers know their job really well; the helpers did it so quick! They sealed it with Toughcoat. I really like what they did for me. I love my drive! When we sold the house, the people who purchased the house said that the driveway is what really convinced them to buy it!

We felt it went very well. We met with Chad a couple of times and he always got back to us with all our questions we had. We met with a few different contractors...some from Angies list and we felt by far the most comfortable with Chad. We never felt he was trying to pitch us anything when he was explaining why he recommended doing things a certain way. When we got the bid from him we noticed that he was using higher quality of materials then what we were seeing from the other bids we were getting. Chad also pays attention to the little things. He took care of some damage in our garage floor at no charge and removed some overgrown bushes for us. The owner of the company actually works on the projects with his workers instead of just delegating duties. They showed up when they said they would and made sure they did as minimal damage to the yard and surrounding landscape. We are very pleased with how the stamp concrete came out for our sidewalk and front porch. We have had people stop in the neighborhood to take a look at it and inquire who did it. If you are looking for work to be done, give Chad a call. He is the one you will want to do your work and you will be very happy with the end results.

Chad and his crew did what appears to be an excellent job. He was very clear in explaining what and how the work would be done. The job started on Monday morning and they were finished by Tuesday evening. They cleaned up everything satisfactorily and they were careful not to damage our yard. Our new garage floor looks great (as garage floors go)!

Work was done on time and with efforts to minimize impact to surrounding yard. I added a bit of additional work from what was originally bid... they incorporated that as well at minimal extra charge. I was pleased with the interactions and the outcome. Would recommend this contractor.

Chad came out before we contracted with him and covered exactly what he would do, and answered all our questions and concerns. He and his crew arrived when they said they would each day, and were extremely courteous and polite throughout the whole process. We are quite pleased with the outcome. They were one of the higher bids I had received, but they were Definitely worth it!

They gave a highly qualified estimate. But, we did decided to go with someone else to get the work done. I do think however, that C & C would have done a good job, had we hired them to do the work. The only reason why wouldn't hire them for future work only because I am so satisfied with the current concrete provider that I have right now. To do all this work it would have cost $10,629.

Outstanding job. Driveway looks great. Owner worked actively on job site. Tony, the Supervisor, was also excellent. Very committed to customer satisfaction and quality. Job started and completed in targeted timeframe. Cleaned out all prior dirt & rock. They packed in compact AB3 which is denser and better per OvPk engine. Rebar tight centers and tied well. Use extra strength concrete 4500 psi. Joints cut very straight. Done with minimal yard disruption. Cleaned up well each day and added fill dirt everywhere needed. C&C bid $ very good - 2nd of 4 and close to lowest who wasn't near as professional. The real differentiator is when you have a problem. My sump pump did not react well to the new extended drain line. I called Chad with heavy rains in the forecast for the next day. He came out at 9:30 PM for interim fix. Came back next morning and went well beyond call of duty even replacing internal pipe and check valve at no cost. It works fine now.

I was really pleased and the price wasn't bad at all. They came in and took all the old dirt and gravel out and put in new gravel and then put in the concrete. We didn't have any problems with them at all.
