It was an extremely pleasant experience from the person who came and looked at our house to give us our options to the installation crew and any follow up that had to be done. We had a minor issue a couple months later and even though it was the middle of the night they did a free service call for us and fixed it up really quickly. They have been a pleasure to work with all around.

They did a great job. Their honesty stands out to me.

They talked to me for a while because I kept hearing something and we were trying to figure that out. They were very nice and friendly. They were quick in responding. I liked the guy who came out. He was very helpful. He tried really hard to figure out a few things, but it has stopped since he left even though he never actually tried to do something about it. The price was good. He was good about everything.

I have used them before. I was pleased with their work.

The technician was on-site for approximately an hour and cleaned the furnace and provided information for us on the care and maintenance of the furnace. He had a checklist and he followed the checklist to provide a comprehensive check of the furnace and provided advice to us on some other work that we should provision for on the furnace when we add a central air conditioner.

Monty the technician arrived promptly and was well-organized. He completed his diagnostics quickly and thoroughly. Very knowledgable and professional. Highly recommended.

They said it was an intermittent switch. They put the switch in and price was pretty far off the chart in my opinion. They came out again because they didn't fix the problem. On the phone they said it would be free because they offer 100% satisfaction. He diagnosed something else the original technician should have caught and wanted $59 and $29 for cleaning this part that he said was now the problem. A week later the heat shut off again in the middle of the night and it was 6 degrees. She called them up and they said the would sent a technician out and there would be no charge. He shows up and goes through diagnostics and says unfortunately you turned the unit off and back on and tripped the reset and the code couldn't tell him what was wrong. he though it was the sensor so he cleaned that and it started working. I said shouldn't the first guy had done that and he didn't want to belittle another technician. I would say they did not abide by their representations or warranties.

The man was very polite and had some suggestions for saving energy, but he just dropped the ball.

I called Anthony because they had a coupon through Angie's list for a service call. Our furnace had quit late the day before we called. We own several houses in Lawrence and know some HVAC companies there, but none here in Lenexa. The coupon was for 50% off of a service call and this was a local small business. My hunch was that the igniter needed to be replaced because this is one of the 3 common things that breaks on a furnace and our furnace is 15 years old. The technician, who was very nice, confirmed this. In fact, he was very respectful and put surgical footies over his boots. An igniter for my furnace costs $23-$30 if I went to a local supplier and bought it over the counter. I know this from similar repairs I have had to my properties in Lawrence. The HVAC companies there charge me about $50 to $60 for this part. I soon discovered that Anthony charges $188.00 for this. OUCH. The technician lumped his labor + the part for a total of $188 + added a service call of $79. They did honor the coupon and knock off $40 from the service call. So my total was about $227. In my opinion, Anthony is charging exorbitant rates for parts. Looking back on it, the coupon that Anthony Plumbing Heating & Cooling is running on Angie's list is a scam. What good is 50% off of tiny labor cost when the parts are astronomical? Many people, like me, are in a freezing house (because the heat has been off) and are captive. Even though I know $188 is off the charts pricey, what am I going to do? Call another company, wait another 5 hours and have my pipes freeze, then pay another service charge for another company to come by? I wish I was 30 years younger and in better health so I could change the part myself. If I had it to do over, I would have called AB May of one of the big companies. So much for Angies List coupons. Sorry to say that, but it's the truth. On the other hand, if you want the service done quickly and professionally and don't care what it costs, this is your company.

During routine furnace service, the technician discovered that our pipes were single-walled. He didn't have the parts to make the repairs that day, so he set up an appointment to come back a few days later. He replaced pipes for both the furnace and hot water heater.

My experience with them has been very good. The last time around, it was nothing out of the ordinary, and that is because they have always done an excellent job for us. We?ve had them here for several things and have been happy with them. They?re pretty trustworthy. We would use them again in the future.

My wife was there when the sericeman came for the bid and he arrived on time. However, my wife described him as "creepy" and she said he talked to her like she was 5 years old. The quote from the company took over a week to get as opposed to 2 days from the other 2 companies we used. Also, the price was $2000 more than both the other companies and it was the exact same furnace as one company.

Did not use as they only offered one option for a tankless water heater and seemed more interested in convincing me to use the product they primarily carried instead of an alternative.

I noticed furnace wasn't working properly so called Anthony PHC. They said they could have a tech come by the next day. Sure enough, he showed up on time and was very professional. He fixed the problem in a timely manner and left. I'm a satisfied customer and would recommend them to everyone.

The technicians were very polite. I didn't have any problems - I feel that I got the quality and expertise that I wanted. I had estimates from other companies that were cheaper but they were the only company to offer a solution to my inconsistent air temps throughout the home.

I have been using them for couple years. We've been happy with them. We have opted for their service plan.

I won a service contract and Anthony PVHC came out for a furnace servicing. I was pleased with everything except punctuality. The service tech was 30 minutes late. He was fast and efficient however so it only took an hours.

Fabulous experience overall. Everyone, from the salesman to the installers to the follow-up personnel, were extremely professional and polite. We felt that Anthony really stood out above the competition with professionalism. In addition, their price was about 15-20% less than the other companies we looked at for the EXACT same equipment.

They were one of the few places that had someone who could meet us that day for the plumbing needs we needed done. There was some leakage after he left and he had to come out and tighten up a connection to keep it from leaking under the sink but it was the next day that he came and it was very easy. I noticed that the sprayer on the sink doesn't really pull out as far as it should but I'm not a plumber and can't verify that this is an installation issue. Could just be the fixture.

We have used them before for service needs, and we have always been pleased with the technicians; however, when we tried to contact the sales department for a new system, they did not respond. We were very disappointed by that. When we finally heard from them, they were more expensive than another company we had contacted in the interim. We decided to go with the other company.

It went well. They provided a good estimate and all the information I needed, but I decided to go with someone else.

They did the work very well. The only problem I had was that there was a little bit too much salesmanship up-front. They were trying to set me up with a yearly program. Other than that, everything was fine, but I found that to be a bit annoying.

We were extremely pleased with the service. The installer, Chris, cleaned up so well and left our furnace and hot water heater looking almost new again. He placed tarps on the floor, beginning at the front door and leading up to the door to the unfinished area of our basement where he was working. The new vent pipe, unlike our previous vent pipe, looks well fitted and attached securely. Chris also found a gas leak in the gas pipe leading to the hot water heater, so we felt like the cost of the service call was money well spent in more ways than one. We were so pleased we switched to Anthony's annual service for our furnace and AC.

Great on time and efficient service with a full explanation of system operations.

The AC unit works much better than the old one.
