Anthony Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

We have a yearly maintenance agreement with Anthony Heating and Cooling and have renewed it year after year. They come out in the fall to service the furnace and in the spring for the a/c. We've had various techs over the years and they've all been excellent. They're good about explaining things and answering questons. They inspire trust.

I had multiple services done. The plumber's name was Corey and he came in introduced himself looked at each situation gave me a price, appropriate discounts without my asking. He took it upon himself to order a part from Moen that has a lifetime guarantee (i didn't know this) and had it shipped to me at no charge. Based upon my past experiences with 2 larger plumbing companies it was quite refreshing to see someone so focused on customer satisfaction and quality. definitely will use Anthony plumbing again in the future.

The toliet was already off the pipe and just needed a new flange, wax ring and reinstalled. It didn't take long and the service was good, but I was surprised at the price. I paid $216.50 which I thought was a little high. We didn't discuss price since I was in a little bind and neede it done soon. There wasn't much to the process and it had already been removed by the tile guy.

They came at the earliest and did a good job. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Great! They were very courteous- both on the phone and in person. When I called I mentioned the postcard had expired (I also had an Angie's List coupon as back-up!) but they gave me the $49 special anyway. The tech that visited was friendly, prompt and thorough. Before he left he gave us a $100 gift card towards the A/C tune-up. Of course we will utilize them again for sure!!

OK, but the fix lasted only a little over a month and we have to replace the entire HVAC system now.

They were very courteous, professional and prompt. My overall experience with them has been great and I will continue to use them in the future.

It was a special and it was one of those big deals. The big deal was $49.50 for 50% off tune-up. I had to pay another $25 or $30 for some additional work. The total was about $65. The furnace clean up was real good. I signed up for a year?s worth of maintenance. So, they would be coming back and checking my air conditioning. I purchased some additional services with them as well.

Very professional and polite. Service man was prompt and thorough in explaining all he was doing and the results of his tune-up. The check list for their tune-up was very comprehensive, much more so than what we have found with other companies. We can have the same service man for each tune-up which is very nice. Fully intend to keep using their services!

In general, they’re very good; very professional and responsive. They’re at the upper end of the normal price range, but they offer high quality work.

The servicer that came for the furnace & boiler last fall was very thorough & took time to explain everything to me, especially since I had just moved into the house the year before & the last furnace co. was less than forthcoming. This is the 1st house I've owned with a furnace system. Monty came out to service my A/C units (2), & was a doll! Extremely personable, very thorough, didn't mind my asking questions. It took longer than I was expecting, but he let me know what was going on through every step. He completely cleaned my outside units, better than they've probably ever been done before. It turned out that I had 2 electrical conduit boxes where the contact plates were worn down, but he showed me exactly where they were & showed me a new one for comparison. I was very happy with their services & will use them again. As I am now for some horrible plumbing problems, but that's another story for another review...

They were very good. We have the same technician come to our home. We are very happy with them.

A/C unit had frozen over night before service call. Shut off a/c and thawed out coils with hair dryer. Called Anthony's in the a.m. and told them I got their name off Angie's List. Sent Joshua out same day within specified time frame. Joshua did a very thorough job of testing and researching every possible area that could have created the freeze over. Discovered the condenser was reading much lower than it should be, which may have caused the motor to kick on later than it normally should. Joshua replaced the condenser while he was here. I found Joshua to be very personable and professional. He explained everything he was doing, and every aspect he was testing and why. He offered to let me watch what he was doing so I would understand what was going on. Joshua will hopefully be there with the company next year when they come back to do the preventive maintenance. The only criticism I have about the whole ordeal was when I called in to ask about making an appointment, I asked for a rough ballpark of what it would cost to recharge my a/c system. (Thought that was what problem was originally) Guy on the phone said he had no way of knowing to even estimate it. Joshua told me right off the bat how much it was per pound to recharge my a/c; why couldn't the guy on the phone? This is what you're in business to do, and you can't tell me $98 for the first two pounds and $40 per pound thereafter? Not telling me how much it is on the phone just so you can book a service call seemed like an old fashioned sneaky trick to me.

Checked all parts and output of air conditioner. Changed filter. Verified that everything was in working order. The technician was prompt, polite, clean and very experienced.

It went very well. The tecnician was polite and knowledgeable and completed the job promptly. The heater has been performing very well. We have a regular service contract with Anthony so the heater gets checked on every maintenance visit and is in excellent shape.

It cost more because they had to lift it over a pipe so we couldn't do it ourselves. They sent three guys because it took three people to lift it out and replace it. There was a water pipe extruding out from it. The price was within reason and we were very pleased. They did a very good job and we were very pleased with them.

Everything went well. Plumber fixed 2 toilets that weren't flushing properly. Others had replaced hardware with only minor improvement. He cleaned out ports that had over the years been clogged with deposits. Prior to this service call we were ready to replace the toilets but don't feel the need anymore. The heating technician did preventative maintainance and consulted on low temperature in one bedroom. He did not replace items that were moved to get to furnace but that was a very minor issue. Both technicians were professional and knowledgeable and I'll use the company again.

Very well. The technician put on booties over his shoes prior to entering my house which I appreciate. He was very polite and friendly. He explained everything to me that he was doing and why. I don't really know why I cleaned the filter but it was not a major issue.

I came to know about Anthony Plumbing Heating & Cooling through Angie's list. Their pricing was fair. Their workmanship was fine. He was upfront with what he was going to charge for everything before he did anything, which I really liked. He seemed willing to give me extra information, but what I did not like was that a lot of times his extra information was in technical terms so I had no idea what he was talking about. It is sometimes helpful and sometimes not. I had some trouble understanding him a lot of times. He was not really good at explaining things in normal terms. He was professional and friendly. He was on time. He put little booties on his feet even though we were going into an apartment where the tenant was clearly not concerned about how clear her floors well. I would definitely use their service in the future too.
