After an initial inspection of my air conditioning unit late at night there seem to be some confusion as why my new York air conditioner was not cooling the house. However, thanks to Anthony's front office personnel, Stacy, and supervisor, Dean, they returned two more times, at no additional costs, to discover that the new coil was defective. I felt that the people at Anthony's bent over backwards to satisfy me, the customer, in every way. I am now waiting for the new part to arrive, hopefully under warranty, to be installed. In the meantime, Anthony's techs are keeping my AC unit cooling the house with the defective coil. They were prompt, and pleasant to work with. And thanks Angie's List for the $25 discount on the first visit.

I subscribed to their monthly service. When I tried to cancel, I was unable to do so. I called in and they wouldn't take it off. They kept saying that they would, and they didn't. It took them 4 months to stop billing me, and I never got a refund for those 4 months. Since the review was posted they have contacted and issued a refund. They are definitely trying to win my business back.

The technician, Steve, was prompt, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained the tests he was performing, the results, and what they meant. He also discussed maintenance needs of other elements of my HVAC system that didn't even apply to the A/C tuneup. Office staff continued to follow up to set the appointment after a bout of phone tag. All around excellent experience. I will definitely use Anthony again.

No other way to say it ... The folks at Anthony knocked our socks off again today with the almost immediate response and the excellence of their service and fairness of their price. I mean - literally - there was a gap of maybe two hours (at the outside) between the time of my initial call to them and the arrival of a technician at our door. He reiterated what I already knew, because the office had been quite clear in the explanation, that there would be a $89.00 charge for the service call and the diagnosis and that I would then be given repair alternatives with specific prices. That is what he promised, and that is what he did. We agreed to the work needed and he went to work. It turned out that the job was a bit more complicated because of some hidden issues that he wasn't able to see at first. No problem ... He did what needed to be done, quickly, competently, and professionally, and then cleaned up everywhere he had worked. He had had to cut into some garage ceiling drywall ... and he swept the garage floor before he left. I may have mentioned that he found the job took more time and effort than he initially thought ... so when he presented the bill, I was surprised (well, no, I was astonished!) to see that the charge was the same as he had initially quoted. "No problem", he said "We just want to make sure you're taken care of." I offered to pay more for the extra work ... he declined, just asking that we continue to think of Anthony when we have plumbing needs. With punctuality, reliability, competence, and fair pricing like Anthony offers, I can't imagine thinking of anyone else!

Our furnace was making a rather loud rumbling noise so I called for service on a late Saturday afternoon. They were out within a hour. The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. Upon looking at our furnace it was decided that the blower wheel and blower motor were in bad shape and were vibrating rather badly and needed some work. He quoted a fee of $1,030 to replace the motor and wheel. We decided to wait and get some more bids. Both Midwest and Schuler quoted $670.00 and $665.00 to replace the same parts. Anthony's quote was just sky high. We then decided rather than fixing it we would replace the whole furnace. Needless to say Anthony's quote on a new furnace was the highest we received.

I have a contract with them so they come out periodically to do different things. They didn’t charge me for anything because they’ve been out recently and I had the same problem. They’re very prompt, very polite and very knowledgeable. They’re a little higher than other places.

I called at 9 am and they were able to fit us in the same day. The plumber (Kevin) was very professional and made sure to fully clean up before leaving. The experience was very positive.

The price they quoted was very high. But, they were very punctual, professional and answered all our queries.

Called a few businesses, as our rentals air was not working on a very hot day. Anthony's was the only business that was able to come that same day! The serviceman that came was very nice and explained everything to us that needed to be repaired. Was very impressed!

We have started using Anthony PHC since our previous HVAC provider was sold and that company's service slipped to an unacceptable level. Located Anthony on here -- found that their stellar reviews were well deserved. The entire experience has been positive. The phone staff is very professional and nice to deal with. The techs that Anthony sends out are skilled and friendly. They explain what is going on with the HVAC system very well and don't appear to recommend repairs that are not needed. We joined their yearly service program for the discounts and expedited service and have found it to be worth the money. Will be using Anthony for any heating or A/C repairs in the future.

We found them on Angie’s List. They were very professional and timely. They told us what we need to do and what we need to know about the furnace and air condition.

When I called to schedule an appt, I informed the receptionist that I will be supplying both the faucet and the garbage disposal. She quoted me $89, which I thought was misleading. She then recommended I look for coupons on their website (which I did, but did not see any for plumbing/installing). My husband was home when the technician arrived. My husband reports that the technician was very professional, competent, and knowledgeable. And then the price came. Apparently there was an $89 discount from the service and that each item installed is $250. This left us, after taxes, paying $436. Mind you the technician had completed the job in less than hour! I phoned Anthony Plumbing to speak with a superviser to discuss the cost---I'm still waiting on that superviser to phone me back...

My experience with them was good. I had them do some more work for me since then. They did a good job. They were clean and neat. They covered their feet so that they didn’t track things into the house. They were very good at communicating what they were doing and why they were doing. They gave recommendations for what I need to do in the future. They were there when they said they would be.

I was satisfied with the work performed. He did what I asked him to do.

Anthony's Plumbing gives good service. They have a good quarterly visit program. I will use them in the future.

They seemed honest and did not try to sell us the most expensive thing. WThe guy who did the sales call was the only person that we met who actually opened up our air conditioner to find out what type of furnace it has, whereas other companies simply made assumptions. He actually took the time and initiative to check out the unit. His detective work actually helped us to buy a 13 SEER unit instead of a higher SEER. Although, York A/c have horrible ratings on Consumer Reports, we agreed to have a York A/C installed because everything I read stated that the brand of A/C matters less than the reliability of the installation. This was >$1000 more than a competitor who was willing to install a 14 SEER Carrier with one year service agreement. But, we agreed because the salesman emphasized the customer service of Anthony and that we would rarely be without heat or A/C: it was the company's goal. The installation went well and our A/C worked efficiently. A few months later, our furnace broke in the middle of winter. The weather was in the teens. When we called them on a Sunday, we paid a $150 emergency fee and they arrived. After looking at our system, the circuit shorted out and he was not able to restore heat. We had to stay with my parents for 3 days waiting for a replacement part. Anthony did not originally have the part. The technician called my husband and stated that they had to special order it and asked if we wanted to pay to have it overnight shipped. In my opinion, if Anthony did not have the part and their goal was to restore heat quickly to their customers, they should have just paid the overnight shipping and not passed that to the customer. Perhaps, that is idealistic of me. Customer service had contacted me to remind me of my upcoming service appointment, and I informed her that we currently lacked a working unit. I told her that I was very displeased with the service. After that, they were very responsive. The customer service reps immediately refunded the cost of the shipping and were very empathetic. They called me a several times to make sure I was satisfied. Kameron is our service techician, and he is wonderful. He has always been punctual and is very polite. He is very friendly, and is not simply trying to get me to spend more money. He is very honest. The maintenance plan is $250/year which includes a 5% discount. If we did not have the one terrible experience, my review of Anthony would be much higher. Unfortunately, that experience clouded how I view things. They are more expensive than some of their competitors, and so far, I'm not sure if I can justify the cost. The pros of this company are that the customer service people are very responsive and friendly. We have an excellent technician who is professional and honest. The cons are that they are expensive, and I wonder if maybe they are too big a company.

Plumber showed up as scheduled and diagnosed the issue. While no problem was found after multiple tests it was better to be safe than sorry. He also provided quote on new water heater. Will definitely use again and it was great having the $25 discount for being an Angie's list member.

I can't say enough nice and positive things about them. So need I say more-:). I highly recommend them and will always use them.
