They couriered the part we needed as we were facing freezing temperatures. After trying to find someone on a Sunday we were pleasantly surprised when they answered the phone "How can we make you smile today."

 + -1 moreThe service technician arrived at our house on time and performed an annual inspection of our furnace and A.C. He was at our home for approximately 1 hour going over each system with great care. When he was done he gave us a visual inspection of concerns he had and any follow up recommendations. He was very through and informative. Even though these inspections can be quite costly, I feel they are very beneficial and would recommend this company for this type of an inspection or any other issue related to heating, AC and plumbing.

 + -1 moreI am updating this review because since the initial service call Anthony Plumbing & Heating customer service has contacted me several times to try and remedy the situation. Their customer service has been very professional, understanding & helpful. I would try Anthony Plumbing, Heating & Cooling again.
Description of Work: I had made an appointment for November 26th. When I originally made the appointment the company said that it could be any time of the day and they couldn't give me a estimated window of time. I told them that I wouldn't take off a whole day of work just to have them show up at 4:30 that afternoon. They agreed to call approximately one hour before they would arrive to give me time to get to my house from work. I never received a call. When I arrived home I noticed a business card in my door - sure enough they had already been there. I called the office and they discovered they had written my phone # down incorrectly. The office person assured me I was next on the list. After another 2.5 hours I called back and was informed that I was definitely next on the list and that the technician was still on a call. I asked where that call was located and it was an hour's driving distance from me. At that point I cancelled my appointment. I understand that a technician doesn't always know how long a call will take but the company should be able to narrow down the service window. They can't expect people to lose an entire day's pay waiting around for a technician that eventually comes after they would have been off of work anyway. Maybe the company overbooks or doesn't have enough technicians to handle the covered area??

He showed me the problem parts after the repair. He was very polite and cleaned up everything upon completion of the work.

Tries to keep the cost down. Gets the job done. We never had any problems. The pricing was reasonable. We have had other plumbers in here charge a lot more. They never charge for estimating. I was pleased.
Description of Work: A pipe was freezing. In any event we had to replace a pipe and they did a fine job. He had to put insulation around the pipe.

I also have a contract with them for my furnace and A/C which they updated a few years ago. That service is done twice a year. They do very good work and I feel like they are very honest and they do it right the first time.
Description of Work: They replaced a waterline that ran from the main line to the house and also performed an interior plumbing inspection.

 + 0 moreIt was a horrible way to wake up, your son pounding on your bedroom door that the basement is flooding. I found Anthony Plumbing, Heating and Cooling here on Angie's List. They were very courteous from the phone to my doorstep. From the moment Brant Merriam arrived, we felt assured he would have us back to normal very soon. He showed the confidence and know-how that we needed to see in our moment of chaos. The blockage was between our home and the main sewer line, some 40 feet out. Soon Brent had the lines cleared and water flowing freely with proper drainage. All through this messy job, Brant used shoe cover ups, laid out drop cloths and cleaned up so well that he left it better than when he arrived! He suggested that in about a year we have a camera put through our pipes. You can bet it will be Anthony's we'll be calling, requesting Brant! Thank you Brant, you truly eased our minds during a difficult time.
Description of Work: Basement flooded. Brant flushed and cleared our plumbing line.

The representative laid out the options clearly, did not put on a high pressure sales job to buy more than I needed, but did give good advice on how to save future cost associated with a 23 year old furnace heater. The crew performing the work was very professional and courteous and they completed the work on time.
Description of Work: Remove and install new air conditioning unit, remove and install new heater furnace, remove and install new humidifier. The included putting in a new air conditioner pad and a significant amount of duct work modification.

That was $69 but he found some other things that needed to be updated. I am having a new in house filter system put it and it will be completed in two weeks. Larry was the service technician and he did a wonderful job.
