Anthony Plumbing technician Bobby A. not only identified the existing expansion tank as leaking, but he also showed me several errors made in the tank's installation that likely led to it's failure. He also tested the incoming water pressure to eliminate that as a potential problem. He did a very thorough and professional job, and this is yet another example of why I will rely on Anthony PHC for all my plumbing and HVAC needs in the future.

We have a service agreement with Anthony to maintain our Heating and A/C. We noticed this past weekend that our a/c wasn't able to keep up with the heat and so I called them on Monday and they were able to come out that day to look at it. They told me it would be an $89 service called and more for repairs. When the tech arrived he was very friendly and willing to help. He quickly checked and discovered that there was ice build up on the inside coil and then checked the unit outside and said it was low on refrigerant. Here are the options he presented: Option 1) Add freon hope for best, $149 per lbOption 2) Look into repair options for aging equipmentOption 3) Replacement of system due to age/repairs The tech first tried to tell me how expensive it would be to try and just repair my system by quoting that my system needs 7lb of Freon and he would guess that it would take 5-6 to get it up and running which would cost $700. And for him to try and find where it was leaking it would be another $350. The tech spent time discussing the options to replacing the system and the lowest option he presented was 11,158 which was just replacing our current system with a builders grade new system. My husband pointed out to him that a co-worker just had their whole system replaced by AB May for $6,300. The tech immediately got defensive and tried to tell us what a horrible system they must have gotten. I told him that I wanted to get other quotes he again told me that I won't be able to match him and their warranty. I also told him that I wasn't necessary looking for the cheapest but wanted to know what my choices were as 11,000 is ALOT of money to us. After trying to pressure me one last time he presented me with the bill today and had another $83 charge on it for what he called diagnostic. This frustrated me as I didn't see him perform any diagnostic. He spent maybe a total of 15 minutes with the equipment and that is meaning both the downstairs unit and the outside. I feel like he added this charge because I wasn't buying the equipment and he was losing out on his commission, though he promised to "buy back" that charge if we go with them for the new equipment in 2 weeks time. When he left he made the comment to me hope I don't see you again and then tried to joke meaning that once we had a working system it wouldn't need any work. So after that I called 4 other companies to get quotes. I have found that all four companies have systems that can beat their price of 11,000, 3 of them had a better system than what Anthony offered. I also realized that Anthony didn't provide me with any model numbers or other features like a filter, new thermostat or anything in writing for their quote, so in the end I had less information from Anthony than I did the other companies. Also, one of the companies offer to charge our system for $60 per lb which was significantly cheaper than Anthony. The other key thing to note, none of the other companies were defensive about me getting quotes from other companies in fact most of them pointed out what a smart decision that is. I tried to called Anthony's today to talk to them about the $83 dollar charge and haven't got a resolve to this yet. I did go ahead and cancel our maintenance agreement as I have now realized how much overpriced they are with things.

Barrie, who sold me a central A/C unit, and Juan and Felix, who installed it, were all fantastic. I have never had such a great experience in purchasing and installing a major appliance. Barrie brought me a portable unit late one evening so I could keep cool, and followed up with me twice after the new unit was installed. Juan and Felix were both friendly and cheerful on a HOT and muggy day. They worked non-stop, communicated with me very well in explaining things, and seemed personally invested in my my being happy with the unit and with their service. All three guys provided stellar service, and the technician who initially diagnosed the Freon leak and the schedulers of my appointments were also very responsible, prompt and friendly. Great experience overall!

The customer service was great when initially calling to schedule our appointment and they even alerted me to the awesome deal on Angie's List but then the people we talked with the day of the cancelled appointment were very rude

Anthony tech was at my property promptly, considering all other emergency calls I suspect they were running on this 90+ degree day. Up onto a very, very hot roof to examine my a/c unit. Quickly diagnosed a relatively minor (as it turns out) problem with a/c unit. Remedied quickly, a/c back up-and-running, and all is well.

Nelson and Tony arrived on time with smiles on their faces ready to work. They put in over 8 hrs of work and never complained about anything. Their work was very good. They discussed the order/installation with my husband when he came home. They installed exactly what was given them. The initial order did not have one procedure so Nelson and Tony were not able to install that. The following week, the work was completed as described. All personnel were knowledgeable, polite, professional. They reminded us to have Olathe City Inspector to approve the installation.

Technician Jeff P worked through the rain to get the a/c tuned up and set me up with a temporary thermostat to get things working.

It went very well. I did not even notice he was doing anything because he did it by himself .

It was nudging midnight when the repairs and paperwork were finished, but well worth the late hour to know the leak was stopped.

Service with Anthony Plumbing Heating and Cooling always goes well. Everybody is very professional, from the telephone people to the technicians. They are professional in appearance, demeanor, knowledge and skills. I replaced my heating and a.c. with them last spring and signed up for the Annual Maintenance Program. This has a minor monthly fee. Because I am a member, the service done today was actually at no charge. And also because I am a member, if I were to have an issue which required repair, I would be a priority call. I am extremely glad I chose Anthony and have no qualms in recommending them to others.

Service call for furnace. Good technician did not try too hard to up sell. Good advice and free filters.

Technician was inexperienced and unable to diagnose problem and how to solve it. He replaced one part and then another. The issue was partially resolved but not completely. Customer service refused to allow me [after two phone calls] to talk with a manager. A manager finally called after several days, but was unable to give us an indication of what the solution to the problem would be. overall dissatisfied. Rate C

It was good. The service has been well except for the last time I tried to get something done. There was no follow-through. They set up the appointment but nobody called to double-check. When I called to complain, nobody returned my calls. They have bad customer service. When they did it, it didn't take very long. We rescheduled twice and that's where the problem fell through.

They scrambled to get a technician to get a part from across town and run it across town and fixed it really quick. Very professional, courteous and conscientious of protecting floors and everything else in our home.

We had Gene, a very friendly and honest technician replace the head unit on the furnace. He was very courteous and helpful, and has definitely saved us from much larger replacement expenses down the road with both the regular maintenance and parts replacement. We were VERY happy with the work done, and continue to have Anthony perform our regular maintenance for Heating & Cooling equipment on our home.

They were running a special for a free furnace and applied that discount to a upgraded system. Salesman was very informative without being pushy, install went well and was completed in a single day.

The young man they sent out was very professional, but he was a little short on experience. So they later sent out a more experienced technician. He knew what some of the issues were and was able to better help. They stuck with it until the A/C worked better.

It was fine. They didn't charge more. I just think that they were good. I didn't think they were terrific.

They did a good job. They showed up when they said they would and called us in advance.

The company was amazing to deal with, superior customer service, superior in home installation service. We were blown away by the level of professionalism exhibited by all members of the team. Twice we called the office and ran into a snag with a certain receptionist that isn't very friendly or patient but other than that, we have no complaints. they have handed every one of our needs professionally, completely and efficiently.

Responded promptly, were professional and provided reasonable bids.

Got the heat going and fixed a safety issue

Started out with a $59 Big Deal for an air conditioner tune up. I haven't done that since I replaced the air conditioner a bunch of years ago with a new one. There were some issues outside on the A/C unit. It was still working, but clearly with a couple of parts in the condition they were in, it was not going to continue thru the Summer months. So, I had them replace a couple of parts while they were here. Then, I also purchased an annual support contract that would do a furnace tune up in the winter and another A/C tune up next summer. Recommended.

The deal was a good value. My only complaint is that I feel their salespeople are a little overaggressive but I was pleased with the service
