Anthony Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

We hired Anthony to clean and inspect our air conditioner (heat pump). We thought they did a great job and would have given them all A's in our review for that service. This winter our heater quit working. We called Anthony's. I really don't think the tech knew what he was doing. First the problem was one thing, then he added an indoor panel, then he added an outdoor panel. Pretty soon our bill was going to be about $1600! He said it would be very unusual for both panels to go bad and he would talk to someone else at his company and get back with us on Monday. In the meantime we had a knowledgeable friend look at it and he got our heat working quickly and easily with no replacement parts. Anthony's was not welcome back in our home after that. Fortunately they didn't follow up with a bill either.

I have dealt with Anthony technicians for installation of water heater, plumbing issues, and routine maintenance. All very efficient and knowledgeable. My only problem arose with installation of my new AC/heater. The system was not cooling. Instead of sending out someone familiar with installion, service technicians were sent until finally someone familiar with both aspects remedied the problem.

Well: adjusted hot water heater and advised of options if problem persisted.

Very impressed with the solutions to all three. Broken part in one sink replaced. Adjustment in the drainage piece in other sink. Replacement of metal arm inside an old toilet. Very happy here with work/solutions.

I paid extra because it needed Freon. It was reasonable. They were great, very professional, very good. They left the area very clean.

Work was performed two weeks later and was provided to satisfaction. I have used many other companies for tune-ups and I like Anthony the best they always do a great job and answer all my questions!

Abraham did an excellent job communicating what needed to be done and then following through exactly what he told me.

We are still using them for stuff. They will be our plumbing, HVAC contractors, no question about it. The do things that ordinary contractors don’t do. Number one, they clean up after themselves. I had a company in here in January, I think it was. It was not through Angie’s List, because they wouldn’t let me go that way. I have a home warranty thing and they wouldn’t let me pick a contractor of my own. I had a contractor here last year from them, that didn’t clean up. I called them and they were apologetic, but that was it.

I called with my issue late afternoon and they were ready to send someone out in the evening. It wasn't too much of an emergency so I set the appointment for the next morning. Caleb arrived promptly at 8 am and got to work. He was very professional and got the work done rather quickly. So far, everything is working great. I highly recommend Anthony PHC. Excellent experience!

They were responsive. The technician was great and left the area clean.

I had Anthony come out to check out our AC this summer when it froze up, literally. Chris came out and quickly diagnosed the issue as low coolant. He was honest and forthright and informed me that with coolant as low as it was, there was no way it couldn't be a leak. He offered to recharge the system, but said it was just a matter of time before it would leak out again. Since I had a home warranty, I went ahead and paid him for his time and diagnosis and went through my home warranty company for the repair/replacement. I will say I would have probably been better of letting Anthony complete the repair and replacement, my home warranty company took nearly 3 weeks in the 90 degree summer to get the AC replaced, and had no compassion. I have consequently stopped doing business with that home warranty company. Note: Anthony had nothing to do with the home warranty company, and I have no complaints about Anthony.

as usual, Anthony technician (Andrew) was very thorough and explained, showed me whatever we discussed. Offered to help me change out my humidifier panel, which didn't need to be changed out, but we didn't know that till we got into it. I really appreciate their over and above offer to help!!! That's a job I don't particularly favor. And this is consistent for them.

They were professional, came when they promised to come, and worked efficiently. They gave us tips on maintaining drains. And when my husband asked about need to root rooter our sewer pipes, they were quick to assure us that we shouldn't have to do that for another ten years. We appreciated their honesty and integrity.

Good - The plumbers arrived promptly as scheduled and efficiently repaired a couple water leaks.

They are very good. They have always treated us very good. They are a good company to work with. We use them all of the time.

I give them A+ all around. They are fantastic and we will continue to use them.

The service man had to work hard because it was worse than he thought. He was patient, though, and got the job done.

There was some sort of mix-up, I think. They never got a notification that I had scheduled the appointment. I had scheduled it through Angie's List, I believe. I gave them a call and they said that they never got the notification. We got it straightened out and they came out and it was fine.

It went very well. I saw better prices so their price is mediocre. They were very knowledgeable about the furnace and necessary upkeep. The workers were fine.

Not well. Plumber said water replacement units would work if small amount of grit present in the tanks was removed. We agreed to do that but they charged for both a trip out and analysis of the problem. He said if we wanted units (on a toto stool) replaced he would have to charge us for traveling back to main store to pick them up and return. We drained water and cleaned grit out of tank and the water replacement units began to leak again. I called the owner and he agreed to have the new parts put in if I would have them at my house and let him know when they were there. I thought since I had already paid $225 they should have brought the parts. They knew what was needed. I ended up buying the parts and replacing myself. On the question of whether I would hire again, I might because I have been pleased with their work previously. The plumber that had done the previous work (installation of stools and other plumbing) seemed much more interested in solving my problem.
