It didn't. The consultation a waste of my time and money. I had to take time off work to meet them for this consultation, too. I'm shocked they get such good reviews.

Our overall experience with them has been good. They installed a new air conditioner unit a couple of years ago. We could tell that it didn?t match the other system we had installed. They had messed up, but they corrected it immediately. They apologized in a very professional manner. They handled our questions in a timely and professional manner. Their price wasn't the cheapest.

Everything went pretty well. I thought they were a bit high for the short amount of work they did but the job went well.

He did very satisfactory work and was neat and clean.

Air conditioner went out on one of the hottest days of the year (and a Saturday). We put a call in to Anthony's and even though we were not on their priority list, they got to us by 3pm . Diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly.

They were awesome, start to finish. My sales guy was professional, courteous, and explained everything in plain English, even though I already knew most of what he was saying. He explained what was right and what was wrong with our old system, and most importantly..."why" it was wrong. Pricing was about in the middle, to low end of the quotes I received, but the salesmanship/professionalism was the best. 2 days after I signed papers to buy our new system, my old one died (good timing), but it was 95* and I wasn't scheduled for the install for almost 10 days. They rearranged some things on their end and installed my new system 3 after I called. Again, very professional and courteous on the phone. Installation tech was also great. Similar experience with him. Top notch. I would highly recommend Anthony Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling here in the Kansas City area.

Our five year old A/C unit broke on one of the hottest days of the year, unfortunatly it was also a Saturday night. After numerous phone calls to different companies and our thermostat reading 88 degrees Jim from Anthony Heating and Cooling came to the rescue. Upon his arrival he let us know that he "does not accept defeat" and was going to get the unit working. That was what we needed to hear! Two and a half hours later Jim stuck to his word and our A/C was up and running. Jim has been doing A/C repair for 21yrs. and taught it to trade school students for 15yrs. I would recommend him to anyone! *Special Note: The A/C unit at our home is not typical of this area. Many of the technicians had never even heard of it before. Kudos to Jim for being on top of the game.

2nd visit for heating/cooling check and repair as part of yearly service agreement. Both times, appointments were available within a reasonable time frame. Each repair vehicle had a picture of the serviceman on the van exterior , which is a nice safety feature. Work was done quickly, quitely and neatly with shoe covers on. Questions about the systems condition, lifespan, repairs or purchase options were answered in understandable language and with evidence of lot of experience and knowledge of the field.

The basement toilet failed to flush and upon further inspection the basement drain had backed up, on a Sunday afternoon while company was arriving. Anthony Plumbing was contacted and, due to the deluge of calls regarding flooding elsewhere in the city, a subcontractor was sent out to inspect the drain leading from the house and found it was filled with mud. The next day Anthony's came out to video cam the whole system and verified the worst case senario - the main pipe had collapsed. Over the next 2 weeks(work was delayed due to more rain!), a backhoe dug up my front yard, replaced the pipe, had it city inspected, provided sorely need sand support to the pipe and backfilled the 10 foot deep trenches. The basement floor was repaired after a part of the pipe had to be replaced there. Anthonys responded quickly, kept me informed about the damage, the work, the costs and when we could use the plumbing. I had the cell phone number for the supervisor if questions arose. They were patient with billing while financing for the huge project was worked out. I received a 10% discount as a result of being on their regular heating/cooling maintenance plan.

The service man was very prompt, polite and cleaned up before he left.

Overall, our experiences with Anthony have been terrific. We've had three different technicians in, all of whom were professional, courteous and performed superb work. The addition of the ducts required significantly more time than originally estimated, requiring the technician to work late into the evening (maybe 9 pm?). I was concerned that corners might be cut due to the late hour, but not so; CJ did a complete and thorough job. Our only negative experience was with the appointment scheduler for the duct work: the original appointment for an estimate was missed, a scheduling conflict arose for my AC service and another appointment to have the ducts added was fouled in some way (I've lost track of how). I believe these issues lay with the scheduler and not the technician. I reported this back to the company via the plumber (Mike, who was terrific) and trust the issue has been resolved. The company seems to be very customer service oriented.

They were very thorough. They actually opened the AC unit up and checked everything out. They used a number of different tools to make sure everything was working at an optimal level. They also checked the outside AC and made sure it was ready for summer use, and gave us tips so we could keep it in good condition. I really liked their personalized service, they have been great.

The service was good, the technicians were helpful, but the price was a little high.

The quote was rather high; I didn't think the price was low enough. They were fine.

Professionalism of the sales rep was excellent. Did not go with this company because price was 15% higher than other bids.

A friend of mine recommended Anthony Heating and Cooling when I mentioned my A/C had died. I called the sales person that my friend used (Terry W.) directly on his cell number and left a message. He promptly returned my call and scheduled an appointment to give me an estimate on a new heat pump and air handler system that same day. Although he was late to the appointment, he did call in advance to let me know, which I appreciated. So far so good. Overall, he was fairly professional and courteous. The appointment took over an hour, because the company makes the sales people flip through about 100 pages worth of statements and documents in a massive binder that describes how great their quality of work is and how satisfied you'll be. However, when he gave me the quote, the initial price was $10,200 for a 3-ton, 15 SEER heat pump and a new air handler installed. This is almost double what it should cost for this kind of system. He then gave the sales pitch that since I was referred by friends, he would take $1,500 off the price, and reminded me to not forget about the tax credit that would help pay for it. Ridiculous! (Last time I checked, the tax credit is for the benefit of the consumer, not for the installer through higher prices.) The appointment was a waste of time. This company is overpriced or they try to charge customers more when the first wave of hot weather hits. Maybe if they shortened their 100 page presentation, and eliminated worthless "features" (they include a blinking red light and a stop sign decal on your new unit to deter theft of your A/C unit!), perhaps they could provide a more competitive quote. In summary, it seems like they hire great employees that you could trust inside your home, but I certainly wouldn't trust them with my wallet.

They did a great job and were willing to show me the levels and how the gauge read and explain things. As I have understood from other people, some companies do that but they don't take the right reading. They add more and don't let you know. Anthony Plumbing was very transparent with that. I don't remember the cost but it seemed like a reasonable cost for that kind of service, although I didn't do a price comparison. I kept their stuff and I thought that I would potentially call them again. They were very good and had professional IDs and so on.

Rob, showed up at the appointed time and evaluated the things that I needed to have worked on and/or replacedand set a schedule for my Heating and Heat pump servicing for the year. We discussed relacement of the water heater that was needing to be replaced we discussede the options available and what my capacity needs would be. He said he would go back to the office and call me within 2 hours with the pricing, I recieved a call within an hour and half. We schedule for installation of the new water heater . Josh, showed up on time and did an excellent job on the installation/

The price was just too high so I did not use them.

We were happy with them and we?d use them again.

They are very professional, clean, neat and have good follow up. It was good service.

They first came out and gave an estimate. They answered all our questions about the tax rebates that were available. They explained which ones were available and which ones weren?t. They gave us different options. They had first sent someone to try and fix the old air conditioner unit that was completely destroyed. They came in sooner than they had originally scheduled to do the replacement. They finished the work within a day and a half. Our experience with them was fantastic. We are happy with them.

It went very well. A service tech came to my home and fixed everything within about 1 1/2 hours of when I called even though it was not an emergency. Be nsure to ask for Patrick as he is very helpful and kind and has a good personality!

We used them in our old home for years and years. They were top notch. They came two times a year. The inspectors that came in the fall and spring were very professional. They spent two to three hours each visit cleaning and inspecting everything. We were very pleased. We had a contract and when you have a contract, you have priority. You could call them at 2 am on Christmas Eve and they would be there by 3 am. We used them a couple of times for emergency plumbing issues and they were absolutely top notch. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely use them again if we had not moved. Over the years they put in two new furnaces and two new air conditioners for us. We were so enamored by them that we didn't check other prices, so I don't know how they compare to other companies.

The old furnace needed to be replaced on short notice. Anthony's responded promptly and helped me make an informed decision on the new furnace. The work was done promptly, and exactly as promised.
