Description of Work: I had a good experience with Handy Man Matters. The company is very professional and on time. Only a couple little spots that may have been corrected that were difficult to see. They even called with a price decrease from the initial quote due to less time expended than originally planned. That is very unusual, although a good marketing strategy for future business.

Description of Work: They always showed up on time ready to work. We had them do some interior wall and cabinet painting. They worked hard and efficiently. They encountered some problems with paint adhesion but worked through it to a good finished product. I am a satisfied customer.

Description of Work: Handyman Matters painted an upstairs bathroom. Two painters showed up on time and worked hard until the job was done. They finished early and the paint job looks good.

Description of Work: Preliminary and finish-up work for bathroom refinishing project. Remove toilet and shower door, install new lavatory and grab bars, then replace toilet & shower door. The work went very well, and the workman, Chris, was very prompt, responsive and efficient.

Description of Work: The crew came and built shelves in our garage, installed two bike lifts and painted our garage. They arrived on time and ready to work. The shelves were done in one day and the work was cheaper than the estimate. They showed us the receipt for items purchased and cleaned up their mess Painters took two days to prep and paint. Overall, the paint job is good and they cleaned up before they left. They did a great job. Will hire them again on our next projects. Recommended them to our neighbors too!

Description of Work: Chris repaired two rotted areas of the subfloor on my porch and replaced the cracked ceramic tiles. The job was done well and for $100 less than the estimate.

Description of Work: Interior Home Painting including Spindles and high ceiling. The only reason I couldn't give a full A on price was because a slight change on how it was estimated on the doors, but we worked it out to both of our satisfaction. I plan to hire them again to do more work.

Description of Work: My Kitchen faucet was repaired. Visit one was to determine parts needed. I ordered them. The Plumber requested I contact him personally. Don't do that. Over 2 weeks I left 4 messages and he never returned my calls. As soon has I contacted Handyman Matters an appointment was set and the faucet was repaired.

Description of Work: Filled all the woodpecker holes in our siding and reattached our guttering on the south side.

Description of Work: We had them out to bid odd jobs for our house and our kitchen. The quote didn't make any sense and it was really high. I just did not get a good feeling because the person who came to bid the job was not the person doing the work. We did not hire them.

Description of Work: They did drywall, taping, bedding, to fix cracks in walls due to having foundation work down. I have used them before painting and they did a great job I will definitely continue to use them.

Description of Work: I called Handyman Matters a couple of weeks before the work was to be performed on July 24, 2013. I had just entered into a contract to sell my house, and the inspector had a few items that needed to be fixed on a short turnaround. Handyman Matters was very accomodating to work me into their schedule, but the date was just one day ahead of closing. The evening of 7/23, just before they were to come the next morning to complete the work the day before closing on July 25, the owner of the company called and said they had a series injury that afternoon and other critical staff shortages. The next morning she called all her other clients to see if they could reschedule. When that didn't work, she called Handyman Connection, explained the issue and its importance to my house sale, and got Handyman Connection to come over wtihin just a few hours. I really appreciate the time and effort put into my situation, even though Handyman Matters could not perform the work themselves. Very caring and professional!!

Description of Work: I had bought the $25 for $100 worth of painting deal. They did come to review the job and give me an estimate for another job I needed done. We determined a date, but closer to the date, I called to reschedule. There was then a miscommunication about the rescheduled date and they were not able to perform the service. However, they called me, apologized and sent me a refund check for the $25. They were very professional and I would not hesitate to try to use them again.

Description of Work: It was a small bathroom and I wanted a VERY dark paint color. The prep was important to make sure the walls would look good. Nicely done.
