Description of Work: Was hopeful to get my garage door re-stained. Despite specifically communicating this to the business contact, the person who came to the house stated right away that he did not have the expertise to complete the task. I appreciate the upfront honesty of what they were comfortable taking on, but this should have been vetted with their Angie's list contact before we made arraignments for a scheduled visit by the painter.

We absolutely agree we need to be up front about our capabilities when scheduling jobs. In defense of the office, when they were told staining of garage doors, they really thought we are capable of staining, and we are in most cases. The type of finish and process that our painter understood that the customer wanted on his garage doors is not standard staining. It is more of a several step process of which our painters have never done before. Could they do it, probably. Do we want to try it on a new customer’s garage, no. We always lean towards the conservative approach, so as not to learn something new at the expense of one of our customers. I am sure this customer can appreciate that. That being said, we have updated the office to ask more questions on garage door staining in the future. We appreciate customer feedback no matter good or constructive. Laurie Thompson-owner

Description of Work: Very disappointed. There were two jobs. One was done to my satisfaction. The other--a simple bathroom shower caulking--took three times to get right. To their credit, they were responsive to my concerns. However, I will not be using this service provider again.
