Description of Work: I needed repairs to a 60 year old garage door header. They arrived promptly, identified the problem and added a new 2x12 beam to reinforce the existing beam. Price and quality of work was excellent. They did not try to sell me a new garage, either. :)

Description of Work: My husband initially found HandyMan Matters on the Better Business Bureau. I could not be more happy with that discovery. Laurie and Marc came out the evening after my husbands call to create a bid. They were both so nice. I explained that we wanted all the tile work taken out of our bathroom (shower, floor, and tub) and that I would be laying the tile on the floor. After agreeing to the bid, Mark showed up at 8:30 on Dec. 19th. Exactly when he said he would. In fact, he came every single day at the exact time that he said he would. I have NEVER worked with a punctual contractor. I explained that 2 family members have asthma so as Marc make his cuts, he held a dustless vacuum up to the saw as to not let the dust escape. He cleaned up his messes to an extreme every day as he left. I have a 1 year old how still naps and he would ask me when he was sleeping if it was alright if he made noise. The amount of respect that he showed was so appreciated. As a stay at home mom with 3 kids off on Christmas break, my kids began ask for "Mr. Mark" and it was a nice feeling to have someone working in the house was safe with with my husband at work. Marc is a perfectionist with his work. He once said while working, "I like to act like I am working on my own house and then I get it just right."

Description of Work: The bid received was very competitive and well-thought out, with alternatives presented. It met my expectations and requirements. I would certainly consider Handyman Matters for future work because of their professional approach, knowledge and willingness to meet the desired objectives. Holly was very sharp and knows her business.

Description of Work: I had several electrical issues I wanted resolved or added. Ceiling fans,, outlets on outside, garage lights and outlets, repairs of fixtures. Richard came out wrote everything up and I was sent an estimate. He was there all day until 7:00pm. Did a great job and I would hire him again and refer him.

Description of Work: Laurel was really nice and very professional. She was very responsive along with the office staff. Very easy to work with. It was unfortunate that we were following the inspectors request. They were very particular about what had to be done. We emailed the copy of the inspectors request. When they came in and what they said and what they suggested was miscomminucated. Since it wasn't what had to be done, they did not charge us.

Description of Work: I needed help with foundation repair. My basement was flooding. I called Handyman Matters in Olathe Ks. They quickly came out and evaluated my home. They were fair in price and did an excellent job. They were fast,efficient,professional,skilled,and when their was done you couldn't even tell they had done work to my house. It was just clean as before they came.
