A+ Insulation

They arrived on time and showed me pictures of what they found - most of which I expected. The price quoted to get the job done was much less than I expected but, due to other things being done this year found I couldn't get it done at this time.

Work went great! The insulation was done in one day and the guys left our home as clean as when they arrived.

It went well, and he advised me correctly that I had enough insulation. He also advised me on another issue I brought to his attention

I have used them in the past when I got it initially insulated and will continue to use them for inspections or service.

Wonderful. They did a great job and Edwin and, I think Eric, were great.

I called to get a quote, and the representative was pleasant to deal with.. It was a smaller job and they sent 3 installers, and 1 supervisor. We had the attic insulation done, and they also put up a cover for the attic fan. They were very professional, courteous and respectful of our residence. They hung plastic over the doorway areas to help minimize the dirt and debris gathering on those surrounding items. After they were done they then vacuumed the areas that the hose went thru. Over-all we are extremely pleased with the work ! Very efficient service, arrived on time and finished the job in the estimated time. Great investment!!

The whole team were superb. Friendly and professional. They took pictures of the work to show me afterwards. Filled holes in ceiling of flat roof after blowing in insulation. Very clean and careful; put plastic sheeting down everywhere to minimise dust. Job finished in about 4 hours. Would recommend without hesitation.

A+ was willing to remove bits of older insulation (I didn't have much to begin with) that had signs of old rodent activity, in addition to blowing in new, fiberglass insulation. My attic space is now up to code and I thought the price they charged was very fair for the work done. The employees who completed the work were polite and courteous and tackled the job quickly. I was also provided with a flash drive of pictures showing the new insulation in place.

Very happy with the results. On time and the work was done quickly. I'm hoping I'll see some improvement in the heating and cooling bills.

The technician came and told me he could not see daylight in my attic and that I needed baffles. He said the energy barrier I just had installed last fall needed to be stapled to the rafters. He did not provide me with a written report. I called the company who installed the energy barrier to tell them what he said. They came back and stapled the energy shield to the rafters, which they said will impact the way it works in my attic in controlling heat. They said there was daylight in the attic and they could feel a breeze coming from the soffits going through to the roof vents. They said I had plenty of insulation and to do much more than I already had would be a waste of money. The A+ tech told me his thermal scan could not read through walls to determine if I had insulation in my bedroom exterior walls. That was disappointing. In the future, I will rely on companies that provide free estimates, which this company did do for me when I insulated my garage and they did the work some years ago. I don't know what went wrong this time.

Good. We haven't yet decided if we are going to do the insulation project. Would choose A+ Insulation if we do.

Went great, they confirmed the need for us to update our attic insulation in our 30 yr old house. We then had them come do the attic and added insulation in our basement.

They were very thorough in their estimate. They were highly professional. I didn't have one issue with them. I did a price comparison with another company and they shot them out of the water. There was a discount they gave us because we got them from Angie's List. Comparing with other people they did the best job at the lowest price.

They did a great job, were very careful and left no mess. Upon completion of the job they showed pictures of the attic work since I wan't about to climb up there!

Basically, all I end up receiving is a high dollar estimate for the cost of blowing additional insulation in my attic. I guess you can just throw the Thermal Heat Scan idea right out the window. I received nothing in writing, nor was a word mentioned after the guy came down from the attic. It's like I just called him over my house to pay him for an estimate on insulating my attic. ****, I could've gotten an estimate for free. What a rip off!!!

Matt Miller, who did the inspection, talked me through what he was doing and what steps could be taken to improve the temperature on the second floor of my home. He showed me his thermal scanner in the rooms upstairs to indicate where there was heat loss and then explained what can be done to correct that problem. He then offered me a quote on work as well as provided me with a couple of options. He has been in touch identifying when there was availability for his company to come out and do the work.

The consultant, Matt, was thorough and gave us clear explanations for the work that he saw needed to be done. In addition to simply adding insulation, he recommended sealing all air penetration points and other typical work that the builder hadn't done in 1998. The bid was detailed and provided on the spot--no waiting. He also provided a figure for upgrading from an R49 to R60, if we wanted to step up our game. The bid was within $700 of another contractor and about $2200 less than a third contractor, so it was a tough decision. We went with the cheaper bid because they gave us a senior discount and we liked their descriptions of materials they proposed using and their method for sealing air penetration points.

I expected a heat loss report, and rather I got was a quote from them on the insulation. If I want a quote for the attic insulation, I would have called bunch of guys in KC area, who can come for free for the quote, why would I pay money for the quote? I would never hire them again.

Arrived on time, inspected attic and made recommendations, then submitted a quote for the job. Very professional and service was good.
